I've looked at these places:
- LTT's store: Out of stock and I have no need for the giant 200x60mm one.
- Thermal Grizzy's store: About $30 for two pads (one for CPU and GPU) after shipping.
- Moddiy: Also about $30 for two pads
- JOYJOM Store on Amazon: I don't need the whole kit, especially since I am looking for two pads.
- Thermalright Helios: Not actually PTM7950, but I will buy it for $5 each if I can't find a guarantee of a legit PTM7950.
- Aliexpress: No idea how to determine which ones are legit.

Hello everyone, I have a question about termination that hopefully a manager can give me some insight on. It's a little long, but I figured a bit of background detail is needed. For context, I work in a manufacturing setting with multiple buildings on the premises. I am a fill in supervisor when the lead of our department is not there.
We have this coworker who was hired about 8 months ago or so. He is a good guy, but VERY out there. He has had head injuries in the past and a history with substance abuse. He talks to himself constantly, talks to others to the extent that he is distracting them from their jobs in a he can't read the room kind of way, and it is very hard to keep him focused and on task without basically holding his hand. I am 29f, he is in his mid to late 30s and I feel like I'm dealing with a son who's a few crayons short of a box. Not to be harsh, that's just how it feels.
If you give him a task he doesn't like, he either gets super disheartened and struggles through it, or acts like he needs to grab something from another building and basically hides somewhere. He has days where he acts all weird like this where it's almost easier to do his work for him, and other days he's a chatty cathy but gets the job done at least.
For additional context, he has 2 children with 2 different women, has issues with both of them, and is actively battling custody drama over the younger child. He also pays child support for both. So he is walking off all time to answer the phone (either baby mamas or his lawyer), calls in or shows up late with little warning due to court hearings etc.
Managers have attributed a lot of his weird shenanigans to him just being a weird dude, but also being distracted by all his legal struggles. Because of this, managers have tried to be very patient with him. He actually improved for a month or two, but then dropped the ball a few times again and was switched to a less demanding department where he was basically given work a lazy high schooler could do. He seemed to appreciate the decrease in work stress after switching departments, but it didn't take long for him to get squirrely again.
Last week there was a day where I was in charge and he gave me a lot of attitude about the tasks to be done that day. I suggested he help another coworker who's partner was late if he didn't like what we have on the docket (trying to be flexible and accommodating, plus this is the team he was initially pulled from so he knows their routine). He did at first, but then found me and a different coworker on forklifts in a different building. We were moving pallets around when he comes in and starts talking about anything but work like he does.
I reminded him there's 2 fork lifts and 2 people operating them, so there was no need for his presence and that he wasn't going to spend his day talking and standing in our way. I asked him to return to helping the coworker in the other building who's partner was late. He proceeded to tell me with attitude that his partner was now there and that they didn't need him and sent him to us.
So I told him to either do the things I originally listed that he scoffed at, OR do things on our list of cleaning tasks. He begrudgingly said okay, so I assumed he went to do that.
I took a pallet from the building I was just speaking to him in, and brought it to a building we just had erected that does not yet have power. It has a loading door on one end and a man door on the other. I went through the loading door, turned the fork lift lights on, and saw him scuttle out the man door on the other side. This building is empty aside from the pallets I'm bringing in, so he has no reason to be out there. Again there is no power, so he's just standing out there in the dark in 5°F weather like a lunatic.
I drop my load, go get another, and cross paths with my coworker on the other forklift. He tells me he just saw the problem child take off down the road in his car. Didn't ask me to be dismissed, just left. I go speak to our GM (manager was gone that day as well). He said he ran in, told him he was sick (which GM thought was BS), and took off. I was glad he told someone, but that was a dick move. I relay all this to the coworker who needed help. He said he absolutely didn't tell him they didn't need his help any longer and they definitely did. He just took off on him and came to us.
The next day the manager who was gone wanted my version of the story. He told me how fed up he is of this behavior and that he's helped him out personally and is really bummed he keeps letting the team down. Keep in mind this was only a week ago.
The new plan was to give him one more chance and have him be the maintenance guy's little helper, or work in the front building where we have a kitchen that has a flakey dishwasher...just goofy little shit to keep him occupied but in ways where his shenanigans don't negatively impact the rest of the team he's with.
Well that didn't last long because he was finally let go today. My employer is somewhat lax about handbook stuff, like talking about firings etc. For example sometimes there's a juicy backstory to it and it definitely gets around, even via certain managers if the right person is asking.
A couple coworkers said the manger brought it to their attention and said it was due to a culmination of all the shit he's been up to and also something he can't legally talk about.
So my question is, with the context given, what do you guys think he may have done that can't legally be talked about when other examples were freely given?

Hi! I’m looking for some input.. I had my MPFL reconstruction surgery with the hamstring graft in July. I’ve been having quite a bit pain/discomfort in my patellar tendon region since October basically. They say it’s tendonitis but the pain level stays the same.. never better or worse.
That was until end of December I hurt myself at work (I was cleared to go back by my doctor in October). Essentially, a patient of mine fainted. I caught them and lowered them to the ground. I was up and down in squatting position to standing very quickly. At the time, I was not thinking of my knee, I was more worried about my patient and making sure they were okay. With that being said, once the adrenaline wore off, my knee HURT. Got an MRI done a couple weeks ago and found out that the graft tore. I don’t think it was completely tore. My doctor said he wants to “play this slow” and see if the tear scars over and we can avoid doing the surgery again. I have been continuing going to PT 2 times a week and working a light duty job for the time being.
I’m just wondering if anyone else had torn their graft and it scarred over (avoiding a second surgery). I’ve had no change in pain level since my work injury. Some days it’s really bad and others it’s mild. Additionally, I can feel my knee cap start to slip out occasionally and it freaks me out. So has anyone tore their graft and it healed on its own? If surgery will be inevitable, I’d rather not wait around and just get it done. Sorry, this was a lot, but I appreciate any and all input!!

My fiancée(37f) and I(40m) just went out for lunch and she showed me a picture she took last night of her bare breast with a nipple clamp on it that we recently bought for her. She said she took it for me while I was in the shower and I jokingly said she should have sent it to me. She said she wouldn’t do that because sometimes my kids will grab my phone..fair enough.
