 | So this is the second movie of 2025 that i got to watch, two horror movies of course (wolf man was the first) but oh my good Companion is so good! Sophie Thatcher is PERFECT, she is now Top 2 on my list of favoritses Scream Queen. The other members of the cast are good too. i hated that the guy looks so much like Andrew Garfield, so my minus inconvenient but the story, the gore and the actress are so good that it doesn’t matter. Its now my favorite movie of 2025 (for now). I felt the same excitement and feeling I got after my first watch of The Substance, so I am really happy because i thought this would never happen again. Hi! My 4 year old daughter will not let her dad help her with anything without throwing a MAJOR fit. I am a SAHM and have been since she was born so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it, but no matter how much he tries she flips out every single time. We also have a 7 month old and while it seems like maybe it’s gotten a tiny bit worse since he was born, I don’t really think that’s the issue because she was like this even before his birth—really since she was old enough to protest. She will scream and cry loud and forcefully any time he offers help. She loves playing with him when she is in a good mood, and will sometimes let him get her food or something small if it’s the middle of the day, but as soon as she is the least bit tired she loses it and will keep on for what seems like eternity. For example, if I go to put the baby to bed and am in the other room for 10 minutes she will scream the entire time I am gone. I feel like I have tried everything I know to do and am at a loss. We are all exhausted. Anyone have any advice?

Any good tips to remove a clog in the main sewer line?
Background: I (28f) purchased my home 5 years ago. This is my first house, and I'm still learning the basics of home maintenance. I'm in Alaska, if location is necessary.
My washing machine is now filling up my bathtub during its drain cycle. I believe the clog is close to the washing machine /tub line, as my toilet and other sinks do NOT back into the tub; they drain as normal. My washers drain line that's in the wall behind the washer, when draining, does not back up into the laundry room; it's purely somewhere within the line that must have a clog?
My house is a bi-level home, with the only bathroom on the bottom/underground level. Washing machine is just behind the bathroom wall, but up on the ground level floor. Kitchen sink is just above the bathroom on the top floor, for clarity. All plumbing is retained within one wall of the house.
I've pulled some hair from the drain and snaked what i could, but the water is not going down. I have a 15' metal drain auger, but I'm nervous to push it into the drain any more than i have because i don't want to damage any pipes. The auger will only go in about 2 or 3ft before it reaches a stopping point where it may take force to push it further?
I've called around, but most companies I found on google near me, and even some in the next town won't even snake it for me, and the ones that will want almost $300 an hour to do this.
Is there any tried and true tips to fix this myself? Is it okay to push the auger into the drain further than what I have been? Is this something that will require me to get into the walls and fix?

My blue acara is currently living in a 40 gallon tank where the pH is 6.4- 6.6. I was told he was a different species when I bought him which is why he's in such a small tank. I'm trying to transfer him to a 55 gallon but the pH in the 55 is 7.4 - 7.6. is it possible to transfer him? I've been dosing it with pH Down but it isn't lowering it very fast and I'm trying to get him into a bigger tank as soon as possible. Ik drip acclimating him would be the best way to do it but I worry if the jump in pH is so much that it woul kill him or give him chemical burns even after acclimating.

It's been cold outside and felt like the right time to throw my hat into the ring to see what's out there!
For starters, I'm a recently turned 30 year old man living in NYC. I would say I'm a pretty relaxed person that enjoys going out as well as staying at home being cozy. I'm 6 feet tall, Caucasian, have blonde hair (like my username), wear glasses, usually clean shaven but trying out a beard this season to see how that goes and in good shape (at 195 lbs at the moment). For fun, I do alot of different things. Traveling is something I have been doing more often nowadays and have a few trips planned for next year to Asia and Europe! I do a few trips domestically to different states and want to visit more of the West Coast and Midwest sometime next year. I really enjoy music and go to concerts. All different types of genres are good with me and would listen to it at least once. My last favorite genre is country but if you have some bangers for country or any other genres (love alt rock, electro, indie rock) then feel free to share! Love to go to concerts whenever a band that I love comes to town. I do a bit of dancing here and there for fun and been trying to learn salsa. It's a work in progress haha
As my username, I'm a bit of a weeb with reading a ton of manga. I don't really watch as much anime as I used to but do keep up with the popular ones that come out. Big board game lover and do play video games too. They are mostly indie or RPGs but the current favorites for me are Slay the Spire, Hades and Fallout New Vegas.
Other things that I enjoy are cooking, baking and trying to relearn my guitar
