Gary being int the surrounding woods while Ray and Dave were digging up the money served no purpose in the plot, as far as I can tell. It makes sense that Ray asked him to come, for backup, but it was super weird that Ray didn’t tell Dave. They were sneaking through the woods after the guy ran off, ready to shoot anything that moves, when they came across Gary caught in the fence. It’s a miracle Dave didn’t shoot Gary. Then Dave asks Ray “Why didn’t you tell me he was here?”, and Ray says “I thought it would be better if you didn’t know what was going on”. And that’s that, they move on. It makes no sense. And it’s not like Gary being there served some important purpose in the plot. So strange

Smart, engaging man I met who gives the impression of being very interested in me tells me the soonest we can go on a date is 2.5 almost 3 weeks from now because a family member died recently, and he is working toward the funeral, and then after that, he will "probably" be in an emotional/mental state which will make it difficult for him to meet me. We haven't met in person yet, and have only had long texting conversations.
This all seems absurd to me and I am thinking of calling off the date. Clearly this isn't the real reason why he can't meet me for almost three weeks it seems to me, I haven't even met this person and he is already pulling manipulative stuff, using a funeral as an excuse. Should I cancel on this person? Give me your best advice!

2025.01.25 00:17 Additional_Diet9847 Unsure what to do with my 2014
Bought it used about 2 years ago, currently has 130k miles. In those 2 years, only major repair I’ve had is a clutch replacement (as the original clutch was on the car when I bought it) and new brakes and rotors. It’s at the point now where my suspension is in need of serious work. I’ll need a new steering rack, tie rods, shocks and springs. My transmission is also going out, my 4th grinds on occasion, along with my reverse gear. My input shaft bearing is in need of replacement as well. I don’t have nearly enough money to get all of this repaired anytime soon. My question is, do I just drive it until I can it repaired or it goes out, or try and sell it for whatever I can and get another car?

I have 3 kittens and possibly adding one more to the mix. I started researching pet insurance but started going down the rabbit hole comparing each. I figured I should ask you guys who have multiple cats which pet insurance do you like best that maximizes your costs and decently covers your needs. I was considering 90% and Unlimited but that seems kind of costly. But maybe I don’t need that type of coverage? My kitties are 6 months old now and in good health. Though one of then has had a condition of producing mushy poop even though I’ve giving them Pumpkin for a few days now. She is healthy otherwise. Considering maybe a first vet appt for this issue plus the other two are due their Rabies & FVRCP but of course, i’d like to get their insurance in place first! Appreciate any companies you personally recommend and any advice you’d give from your experiences. Thanks.
