I just bought a copy of "His Majesty the Worm" and love the 4 play phases and how they took the Dungeon diving process and codified it in an easy to digest manner.
Are there any other games out there that have similar procedural play processes explicitly defined like HMtW? It can be any genre, I just like learning (and collecting) the various procedures and play types.

2025.01.26 07:01 Single_Drawing_1755 AITA for quitting my volunteering job pt 2
It would have been ridiculously long adding this to my previous post here, because it's kind of a seperate issue. So I'm picking up where I left off. I (16F) feel horrible. I really miss the job, but what hurts more is that these people who I thought were my friends and I was getting along with would all vouch for firing me. A job that I loved with literally all of my heart (and was really good at might I add). AN UNPAID JOB. But whatever, I can't look back now, and everyone gets fired at least once in their life (...right). Anyways, I had formulated a new plan. The place I've actually always wanted to work at was this sea turtle and marine biology research lab (let's call it the turtle center). Since my real love is marine biology, and I very recently became old enough to to work there, I thought it was gods way of opening a window, right? WRONG. My mom says that there is one condition for letting me apply there. That I had to speak in person to the people at ABC. She doesn't seem to care at all how hurt I am or how what they did to me seems a little unfair, she just says that I need to learn from this experience. I understand her. I've learned quite a lesson already in communication and how I come off to people without realizing. The problem is I'm a really sensitive person. If I walk in there and my boss starts telling me about all of these things I did and how I was allegedly warned repeatedly, I'm going to start crying. Or get really angry. Or just not be able to speak at all. How would I come off to her then? I'm just digging the hole deeper for myself. And then after that, if I apply for the turtle center, I would tell them my experience is working at ABC sanctuary, because I need experience to apply. So then they would reach out to ABC, and ABC would tell them not to hire me. I REALLY don't want to do this. I just can't stand authority figures being mad at me especially when I already feel like such a crybaby about this. And with all of this, I'm even more anxious because I really needed to put this on my college resume and for community service hours, and now I have nothing. I don't even know what to do anymore. So, AITA for not wanting to speak to my boss in person about why I got fired?

Yes Man This would be the best option for the mojave if it werent for the ending, Yes Man reprograms himself, giving him a personality, and not having to obey everything the couriebenny says, given that hes a indepentent artificial intelligence that has thousands of Mk.2 Securitons in his hand and can rebel whenever he want, hes not the best choice, plus if the courier dies he cant do anything to save vegas anymore in case of a uprising or a invasion from another faction.
NCR The biggest jerks in the mojave, dont wanna work with us? we will mark you as a terrorist and put a bounty in your head. pay us 75% of ur goods to us, even though we havent done anything for you (protection, education, state help, etc), they also let raiders roam free in the mojave terrorizing innocent people and dont mind it, plus, their capital would soon be nuked, meaning the ncr would disband itself and the mojave wasteland, hoover dam and the strip would be an anarchist state(possibly).
Legion Sure, the legion did a lot of bad, plus years of propaganda of the NCR, and their hate for women for no reason, but, these are the same guys that brought stability to the mojave, took out the useless trash that terrorized people (Raiders, Thugs, Powder Gangers and others like fiends, all deserved it, they didnt contribute anything to society). They were peaceful with most minor factions.
The boomers? they left them alone, they didnt do anything and are good people with morals.
The families of the casino also were unharmed, they were normal civilians of good.
The kings were given a offer to be implemented in the Legion but refused and rebelled, they asked to the fate they got.
Followers of the apocalypse were also unharmed,caesar admired them too.
The Brotherhood of Steel asked to be killed, same guys who would slaughter the kid at freeside for having the ARCHIMEDES II gun.
And, if caesar died, he would have both lanius and the courier to reign. "But joshua graham mentioned about lanius being a terrible leader!" joshua graham didnt know who lanius was, all he knew was that he was a bloodthirsty legate that replaced him
