Hello everyone,
Just to share my two cents about mi ying that I own. I was excited about trying his change, but now in rta, violent with +184 speed, +1750 atk, +17k hp, he just does not perform in rta.
My point is except the Giana case, usually if you are getting stunned, its two scenarios :
- you got despaired, it’s 25% chance (in theory), so it won’t happen that often. His passive only applies on him being stunned, he doesn’t care about allies.
- cc cleaves usually, like with the new nezuko fire, these teams do several things : manipulate atb, mi ying has nothing to counter it, they have several stuns, you will cleanse only one, they prevent debuff removal more and more, countering entirely mi ying.
At the same time, counters stay the same, an atk buff, an atk break, an oblivion, and he disappears instantly. Atk buff that you find in cleave. Basically my understanding is they made his passive an anti-cleave kind of thing, while his kit is not made to be resilient to cleave in any way (neither cc or just cleave damage). They took away the key component for his bruiserish kit, making him also less good at bruisers fight.
Venting a bit, also I know they did it dirty to other units without any real reasons (drakans), they should really start testing their patch

Hello! I have a V-shape sidecut (quite high) for quite some time now and i'm kinda missing my old full hair. My hair is straight, very thin and with that much sidecut it feels like i have little hair.
Can anyone with long hair who grew the undercut share their experience? How was the growing out process? Did you ever use extensions? If so, did they make growing it out easier? Is there something you can actually do to not look ridiculous when it's still above the nape (too short to ponytail and long enough to start curling) ?

It goes to show how little regard the media has for the truth. They make up shit like Elon giving a “salute” because they know that social media idiots with short attention spans won't care about the context.
In the week leading up to the election, Trump made a joke about how warmongers like Liz Cheney should deal with the stress of war, and the media spun that into a story about how he's gonna order a firing squad on her.
She's still in the news a lot, but is that story ever mentioned? No.
Because it's one manufactured outrage to another. Reject the evidence of your own eyes and ears and believe what they tell you to believe.
When the next one comes along, they blank it from their memories and parrot the new controversy. Every time.

Hey all, I love to contribute here but I need some other opinions for some side thoughts here in kind of a unique scenario.
For some context, I’m the director of a sales enablement division for an Aerospace SaaS.
I have one guy on my team is kind of a “special” circumstance. He’s in his mid-late 60s, cantankerous as fuck, and he’s been with our organization since the early 2000s and has been essentially our organization’s sales version of seal team 6 for decades. He’s in my division to be a mentor in a way.
He’s the epitome of the “lone wolf” seller archetype. Pen and paper type guy, doesn’t give a shit about the tech stack, and is all about wheeling and dealing. He respects what I’m trying to do, I respect the hell out of his acumen, and rely a lot on his knowledge.
Basically, what we do, is that he helps mentor newer folks. 90% of the people we hire are outside of our industry and we look for particular skill sets and teach the industry, and he’s the absolute master at articulating and developing that because he knows it better than anyone. We own 54% of the market share, and our next closest competitor has like 15% and huge part of that is because of what he accomplished as an individual contributor.
He also has a book of about 20 accounts we manage. 15 of those are top revenue companies in our space and includes 7 of the top 10, and the CEO of our by far largest player in the space is he’s golf buddy for the better part of the decade. The man is a savant at what he does. But, he’s also the type of guy who will never be able to hang it up because he lives and breathes it and is obsessed with it.
However, over the last few months I’ve picked up on a very noticeable…cognitive decline…to the point I actually secretly reached out to his wife out of concern and she affirmed this has been a problem in their personal life he’s tried to ignore and said there’s no way in hell she’s convincing him to retire because she’s tried for a decade haha.
Unfortunately, it’s got to the point it’s becoming…impactful… to business. Forgetting huge meetings, forgetting names, losing focus and going completely off the wall during conversations, etc. It genuinely breaks my heart to see. I unfortunately got to see pretty bad cases of alzheimer's with both of my grandparents and my grandmother… and the signs are all there sadly. It’s actually to the point one of the stakeholders at a big client of his reach out to me and candidly more or lesss said “hey…I’m a little concerned about him”.
My VPs and leadership respect the shit out of him but are seeing what I’m seeing so it’s been almost a consultative like “hey, we don’t know what to tell you to do here so we support your best judgement” kind of thing.
I may be a director and like to think I’m damn good at what I do, and got here for a reason. I’ve made more than a few tough decisions in my time. But, I’m in my 30s, and I don’t know if I have it in me to go to the man in his late 60s who is the long time master of the craft who loves what he does and tell him, “hey, it’s time to hang up the cleats once and for all”.
I just want the dude to live life beyond this place. He’s more than earned it to the point his children and grandchildren would probably never have to work if they didn’t want to based on the things he’s accomplished and knowing his lifestyle. But, I just want the guy to live life playing some golf, spending time with his grandkids, traveling, etc. and he deserves that before it’s too late.
But, I genuinely don’t know if I have it in me to tell him it’s time to go. He’s kind of earned the right to decide that on his own, but he’s also the type of guy to be taking client calls while on his death bed and he’s at a point where he deserves the opportunity to hang it up and live life while he can.

Hello so I have a long story please I would appreciate if anyone could take a read. This is in Oregon btw. In February 2018 I received my first duii when I was 18 out of high school through the county and then in April that year I got a second one with the city, but within the same county. So I wasn’t eligible for diversion program and got 160 community service, victim impact panel, drug and alcohol treatment, probation, blow and go for the first one. During that time the second one kept getting new dates cause they couldn’t get evidence from the crime lab at the time for some reason so the judge dropped it without prejudice and the judge told me to never get in trouble again or it will pop back up if not it wouldn’t. During the time from then and now I moved and ended completed everything. Getting in trouble when I was 18 was enough to scare me to never want to go inside the jail again and not be trouble in life and not surround myself around people that impact me negatively. I’ve been clean since no trouble and have been working the same job over four years and also got a car and I’m starting a family. I go to work everyday six days a week and just go home don’t even do anything anymore from the trauma when I was a teenager. In May of 2024 I got pulled over on the way to work for not turning my blinker on soon enough and the deputy’s sheriff told me I had a warrant, but I didn’t need to be arrested just show up to court on my 25th birthday which was in July. Apparently the city court sent a letter in the mail to show to court which I had no clue of cause I had moved and changed my address with the post office years before that and they apparently got evidence from the crime lab and want to charge with me duii, reckless, and driving while suspended and the first plea deal they offered in a settlement conference 80 hours community service which is whatever I learned a lot from that the first time. Three years probation and four days in jail. So my license would be suspended again and this time longer even though my probation would have been complete if they didn’t drop it and the city communicated the first time everything should have been together since it was going on during the same time. Now that I have a car payment and insurance they want to suspend it again and I would have to still pay on that while suspended and get another sr22 which is more problems, drug and alcohol again, and victim impact panel again which I learned a lot from the first time as well and spent tons of money and lost a lot. I lost my first car i worked all through school to get and my first real job I had been promoted through I been punished and changed my life around it’s not fair the city and the county don’t communicate. Why didn’t they ever show to my address if they wanted to contact me why were they just waiting to contact me pulling me over or what not I haven’t been in trouble since this happened and I just work try to make ends meet and pay my taxes and rinse and repeat. I don’t understand the system they are trying to put me through again when I been proving I been a good citizen and would have been done with everything if if this would have been settled how it should have been. I got a court appointed attorney and I don’t understand why they want to throw me in jail when I haven’t done anything since they dropped it and I complete my first one. I got a good life now and trying to start a family and work all the time I don’t know what to do reject that offer and go to trial? I Truly can’t go to jail I have responsibilities now that life continued since then. Sorry for repeating a lot of stuff im just not feeling well and been uneasy since all this news im just terrified and only have two people to talk to in life. I also been going through back surgeries this last year for my leg and it’s still ongoing for another one so it’s just another set of problems in life while I work six days a week weekly. I truly appreciate if you read all this.
