2025.01.25 01:19 CyberfunkBear How do I manually trigger the 4th Crusade event in the console?
I’ve basically accomplished everything I had planned for my current run, but the Byzantine Empire’s constant “adventures into the steppes” is starting to bother the hell out of me because of the border gore it causes. I’ve also got at least 150 years before I need to port the game over to EU4, so I figure that forming the Latin Empire that controls all of Outremer and parts of africa would be fun.
However, I’ve had several crusades launch but none of them have triggered the 4th Crusade event, and I’m at the point where I just want to start the event chain via console, but my attempts at finding out how to start the event aren’t really working because I keep getting answers for how to launch it… For CK2.

Does anyone know if out of state students get offered alternative pathways? My daughter applied in early November and we are still waiting to hear a decision. I've tried to research applying as an out of state student and there isn't much information available at all. TAMU is her #1 and at this point we're losing hope. Her major is Animal Science.

Is it better to bet % of bank roll or determine a unit size? I had an uncharacteristically bad night last Friday in the NBA going 1-8, costing me over 30% of my bankroll. I've rebounded this week but because I bet anywhere from 1-5% a bet, I'm wagering far smaller amounts and thus making the road to recovery much longer. This is the most frustrating and useless button to ever exist in the PES/eFootball series.
You’ve probably been in scenarios where you are holding Match Up standing RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR OPPONENT locked in some weird Auto Shielding animation hoping for the game to do a Stand Tackle for you but after 5-10 business days your defender which is positioned well cannot get a Stand Tackle animation which leads to the opponent shooting and scoring if not getting a shot on Target
I am struggling to understand why they cannot at least give us the option to replace this god awful of an excuse of a command called “Match Up” with a simple “Stand Tackle” command we used to have in the PES days. Like literally there can be times where you are just defending perfectly but of course you get punished because you manually try to defend and hold Match Up only for the ball to go RIGHT THROUGH you for the opponent to get an easy goal.
I could go on and on with the inconsistency of the gameplay like Through Passing be utter shit and not giving us any sort of option to give us our own Pass Assist option but that’s a whole other discussion.
But fucking hell Konami please just give us back our Stand Tackle button. I hate having to rely on the game to do the defending for me only for it to fuck up at THE MOST INCONVENIENT time. 🤦♂️ 👎

Hi I have a degree from NTU 8 years ago but have always been in the freelance, part time and contract sort of roles.
I'm looking for a stable job that gives me purpose as I don't feel that I can find a suitable role in the private sector that also has the right benefits; seems like employers are just trying their best to cut corners and paying 2-3k+ even for non entry level positions.
Do you think it's a wise decision to become a regular? It is too late given my age as well? I also have some previous injuries (some healed some not) and mental health stuff (but I'm okay now). Will it be hard for me to adapt? I'm usually quite adventurous and stay pretty active.
I applied for intelligence officer and military medical expert roles. Any advice is appreciated!
