Ever since reading that CFS ARC reactor will be pulsed, I'm wondering how the center solenoid will be safely de-energized. I've researched a bit on this but it seems people only want to know about quenching, but that's definitely not what CFS plans to use (I would hope). So what's the procedure in other superconducting tokamak?

Hi 😅 my name is Matt Im from Europe. I like playing guitar and videogames ( Overwatch, left4dead, Warframe) and some others. Im making this post as a way to find more people since i havent had much luck so i thought if i told a bit more about myself more people would be interested. So, im currently working for an IT company mostly in the part of Cyber-security but i am on a 2 week vacation at the moment so i thought "why dont i try to make some friends online". I like talking a lot either it be messages or call , although i prefer to call if possible .
I like learning about people and really getting to know them ( their hobbies, things they like , movies, funny stories etc..) . For now Im free pretty much 24/7 so you don't have to worry about me taking like 30 mins between each message. Im not really shy or insecure, quite the opposite Im very chatty and energetic. Ive also been told Im a good listener so if you ever need to vent about something or just talk about whatever when you're feeling less hot feel free to do so.
I don't have any expectations whatsoever of the possible relationship we might have . Basically it means Im neither looking for a long term or short term relationship. I also have a good sense of humour and like to make jokes on the spot ( if the situation is appropriate of course ... duh) . Seeking feedback on the following situation:
I work for a small consulting firm that is informally partnered with a massive tech company. We implement their products. I really enjoy my job even though it is stressful at times.
Over the last 6 months, massive tech company poached 2/3 SMEs in a particular tech stack that is quite lucrative to my org. Leadership is pissed. We’ve struggled to backfill them and I’ve stepped up in a significant way, which lead to a promotion.
In December, I saw a job opening at massive tech company, so I applied. I was a perfect fit. They got back to me 2 weeks ago to schedule an interview- 2 days after I was promoted. On Thursday, I went through the interview process and killed it. They gave me a verbal offer on Friday.
It’s an upgrade in every conceivable way (including life changing comp boost). My former coworkers will even be on my team and have confirmed that they love the culture. Obviously I need to do my due diligence once the offer is in hand, but at a high level it is a no brainer.
Here’s the question: if I decide to take the role, should I withhold the details when I submit my two week notice? The group I’m in is completely reliant on me to sell & execute future projects and they’re already pissed about the others being poached. I have a fantastic relationship with leadership & they’re reasonable people, so I don’t anticipate retaliation or even [open] hard feelings, but at the same time you have no idea how people will react when their livelihood is threatened. Withholding may even CAUSE the animus rather than prevent it.
Has anyone ever done this before? What was the reaction?
TLDR: Another company poaching employees leaving me as sole technical resource > leaders are pissed > I applied to other company and got verbal offer > should I withhold details when (if) I put in my notice?

Our second draft pick thought for sure he was going to be in Collingwood during the draft process, but the young academy prospect competed hard from day 1 and got his chance against the giants in round 15. In his first 3 games he was pretty quiet, but finished game 4 with 11 disposals and 16 in game 5, showing that he is heading in the right direction for 2025. In the 2s, CC was very impressive from day 1. He had a steady rise in performances each week, and peeked in round 14 with a 39 disposal game! The best 22 remains a tough squad to crack but CC, along with Gus Sheldrick are the 2 in the best position to make the rise into regulars this upcoming season
2025 Outlook
Low end - The likes of Corey, Indi Kirk (what a mark) and Jesse Dattoli make rises and take opportunities away from CC who does not stand out in the 2s. He does enough to get 5 games in the 1s and averaged 10 touches a game in those games but does not do enough to be a regular.
Middle of the road - CC continues his natural rise towards stardom and sees an uptick of minutes and performances. CC averages 15 touches a game over his 10 games and even manages to feature as the sub in a final. He finishes with 8 goals over the year and comes into 2026 primed to be a regular starter.
Best result - CC rises to the challenge and steals Parks spot from right under Adam's nose. After a big performance in R3, CC does enough throughout a strong stretch of football that he is considered a locked in member of the best 22. He is a key aspect of our deep run into September and continues into 2026 joining Errol and Gus as being the future of this great club
