Hello. I recently passed Dec 2024 CPALE, I just want to share my thoughts here .Maybe to asked for an advice or look for someone who felt the same way as I am. Ako lang ba ang feeling lost after getting what I prayed and worked hard for a year? I was too focused on passing the BE and right now I felt so lost. Hindi ko alam saan patungo. What's next? What sector should I work? January is about to end, tama na sigurong pahinga ito after long months of review. I thought magiging okay ang lahat makakawork din ako agad and such. Pero ang hirap pala nakakapanibago, at the same time nakakatakot. CPA na talaga ako? I don't have the experience and I'm scared that I will messed up and can't live up the expectation for that title I worked hard. Yung feeling na napasa ko ang exam pero I know kulang na kulang pa ako sa experience. I'm not that confident to walk into the world of real work. Normal lang ba ang ganitong pakiramdam?

This was a peculiar phenomenon that had become accepted as normal by the various tenants living in this beautiful house on the east side of Salisbury Cathedral Close. It was a clergy house and home to the Dean at the time I knew it, but later my sister’s in laws lived there. In the Dean’s time I had visited, and if you needed to go to the toilet you were told not to use the one at the top of the stairs, because it was haunted. Later, when the relatives were there, I did go to it out of curiosity. The haunting was simple. The door would not stay closed. There was a latch and a bolt and the door was old— the house was 17th century— but the fastenings just wiggled open before you could finish using the toilet. And the door swung wide open with a view down the stairs. Every time. Different fastenings had been installed, but the screws just jiggled out. Nobody had an explanation for it. So the tenants just avoided it and carried on.

I'm a web CTF challenges solver, but I have problem with other categories like (pwn, forensics, crypto, Misc, reversing, ...)
Any advice or resources I can move from 0 to advanced level with? even if a medium knowledge and experience.
In general, I have experience in cyber security but not in those categories, My experience focusing more on bug bounty or Penetration Testing.
Note: I prefer reading from laptop more than books.
Any advice or suggestion helps a lot!

2025.01.26 06:37 MarjSepid75 Could my alcohol use have caused my HBP

I have been on BP meds for 11 weeks and stopped drinking for 11 weeks. I went to the hospital and had 6 days in intensive care with a BP that would not come down. The Dr’s never asked about my alcohol use. They were just confused since I am only 47. Exercise regularly and am not overweight. They said my BP was the highest any of them had ever seen in the hospital. EVER. Now my BP seems to be lowering more and more the longer I am on meds and not drinking. Does anyone know if my daily heavy alcohol use could have been the culprit? I had daily panic attacks, or hangxiety/withdrawals. Could I have been in a state of withdrawal when I was in the hospital and that was the cause of my hypertensive crisis? Also if I drink in moderation while on meds could my BP end up back where it was or is it safe? My BP ranges from 90/75-125/90 now. I don’t even want to say what it was when I went to the ER. I have never seen numbers that high in any post as of yet.

I also work pretty hard (lift heavy shit and never take breaks), I don’t ever take advantage (never on my phone type shit). We have 3 other apprentices who are pretty shitty, like one is late almost every day, one is kinda dumb and doesn’t know his stuff and the other just wants to be a cool construction guy to get pussy. They are all 21-25 years of age. In your guys experience to these people pan out??..like actually get there journeyman and keep working?? Do they change as people?? Or do they just quit because they can’t handle it??

2025.01.26 06:37 Ur_getting_banned Long Rest cutscenes can be frustrating

Despite having over 1000 hours in this game I still find it frustrating that so much of our companions story progression is tied to long rest interactions. Started up a playthrough recently and I made it to Act 3 romancing Shadowheart (Selune) and I long rested as frequently as I could to trigger it but it never appeared (Despite having 100 approval).
I understand that a game as interconnected as BG3 must be a nightmare to code but there are several instances of long rest cutscenes not triggering despite meeting the requirements in my playthroughs. My hope is with patch 8 they fix these issues but I highly doubt it.

Hi so my boyfriend and I are planning to get married sometime in 2026, but he is from another country and we will be going through the K1 route. Therefore, we won't really know when we're getting married until RIGHT before. We are both 22 and I will just be starting a job and he will obviously be unable to work. I do want a prenup, and he does too, but I know we need like 6 months to get a prenup and that would be impossible with our situation, and it would probably be expensive. We also both have 0 assets. So, we though that a postnup might be a better idea and we could get one in a few years. I live in Georgia and my google searches are unclear on whether or not a postnup would be valued the same as a prenup in court. Any ideas?
