My friend, who was working as a head supervisor in a supermarket, got terminated just before his promotion day.
A few months back, one of the security guards came to duty in a drunken state, so my friend warned him and transferred him to another branch. The other security guards and staff conspired against my friend to take revenge.
The supermarket manager, a lady, regularly discussed work with him since he was the head supervisor. Whenever they were talking, one of the staff would secretly record them to frame them as being in a secret relationship.
My friend discovered he was being secretly recorded and warned the employee about his inappropriate actions, telling him to delete the videos. The employee audio-recorded this conversation and shared the previously recorded videos and this audio conversation in WhatsApp groups the day before his promotion.
He was terminated without a proper enquiry, which left my friend feeling humiliated and wanting to fight legally. He wants to know if any of his fundamental rights were violated so he can proceed with legal action.

2025.01.26 07:30 Agitated_Insect3227 What Are Some "Immersive Elements" that You Would Add to Immortal Empires?
The Immortal Empires map is quite large and beautiful, but I always wished it could have more "immersive elements" to make each region stand out more. The climate system, landmarks, and universal Legendary items like the Sword of Khaine and Nemesis Crown are the only things present at the moment that really fulfill this feature, so what are some other immersive elements you would add to the map?
My first idea is there can be random times when the Chaos-Moon Morrslieb is completely full in the sky. This already exists as an event/mechanic for the Beastmen, but it can become a full-scale, map-wide event that effects every faction/army on the map. Effects can be:
- Drastically increased Spell Mastery/Intensity with even greater amounts for races empowered by Morrslieb (Chaos, Skaven, Undead, Night Goblins from the Greenskins, etc.) but also increased miscast chance
- Certain Races (again, Chaos, Skaven, Night Goblins from the Greenskins, etc.) can gain increased stats like better leadership, speed, melee attack, etc.
- Daemonic Reforging and Return from the Grave have higher percentage chances
- Warpstone meteorites can fall from the sky both on the Campaign map and in certain battles. Campaign-wise, these meteorites can damage/destroy settlements and/or be locations for events that give you powerful awards if you get to them before another faction does (kind of like the Mordheim game). In battle, the meteorites will be bombardments that can hurt both sides present in a battle.
Another solution to that is Cataclysm/Realm of Chaos conditions can be activated whenever you fight in a location on the map where the Winds of Magic are "Tempestuous," leading to an actual "Storm of Chaos" on the Map.The following suggestion by Mahelas also sounds really cool:
One other magic-related idea I've thought of to make the map feel more immersive is that some regions can also be made to always make certain lores have greater Spell Mastery and allow access to certain Cataclysm spells. For example, I believe it's said in the lore that Sylvania, even before the Vampires took it over, was always overflowing with Death/Shyish Magic, so any Death spells casted there can have their spell mastery increased and have the Death Cataclysm spell available for any character with Death spells.
It would also help races not get overrun in their home region by getting an advantage. Priests of Nehekhara should be stronger standing in their own desert. Dark Elves should be way stronger in Dhar-saturated Naggaroth and so on. Savage Orc Shamans in the middle of the Badlands, Butchers of the Maw litteraly ON the Maw should feel stronger than awayFinally, big-time Skaven fans are going to want to kill-slay me for this suggestion, but I also think one small change to make Ulthuan more immersive is to have it's settlements be immune to having Skaven undercities, similar to how it's already immune to Underway-stance movement, since it's an island.

2025.01.26 07:30 Throwaway7733517 Marvel Rivals made me quit competitive gaming
It's been not even 2 months and I just hit 200 hours in this game. In season 0 I was pretty good, I climbed nearly to diamond before the season ended and had a good win rate.
Then season 1 hit, and the ranks reset. Long story short, that sucks. And this time, I couldn't climb back to diamond no matter how hard i tried. Two days ago I was Plat 1, now I'm at gold 2 because I have lost just about all of the past 30 games I've played. IDK what happened, but any semblance of skill i accumulated is now completely out the window.
After two days of nearly constant play, I realized that this is completely fucking pointless. I've peaked clearly, and I'm not spending another 200 hours just to get a little better. This also happened to me in Smash Bros and SF6, it's fun at first, but unless you make a game your full time job, you're going to hit a wall that you may never get out of. And I can't just play a competitive game casually, it's just not in my nature.
So i quit, I'm only playing single player games. they're way more fun anyways!

2025.01.26 07:30 mquint7914 Anyone experience was seems to be one sided congestion and infection?
This winter it feels like I’ve caught cold after cold. Anyways, randomly one morning I woke up with my left nostril completely clogged. This went on for about a week before I woke up with facial soreness, sore throat, headache, green mucus in both sinuses but mainly still in my left sinus. Anyways, I went to the doctor and they gave me amoxicillin which helped but I noticed the green mucus from the left nostril never fully went away, it diminished by a lot though. And about 3 days after finishing the antibiotic I was back again where I started so I went back to the urgent care and they prescribed me another antibiotic and 5 day course of prednisone. And I’m currently taking that and feel much better but I’m scared because I finish the antibiotic in about 2 days and although I feel much better I still see a bit of green mucus when I blow my nose from my left nostril and I’m afraid it will ramp up again when I finish the antibiotic. I have an appointment with my pcp soon to see if I can get a referral to en ENT. I’ve also not had any dental work done recently. This just kind of came on randomly. I have health anxiety and I’m really freaking out. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? And if so what wounded up happening?

What price are you guys expecting for the coin to reach? Or like what price are you guys willing to sell at?
For example I personally would be really happy to sell at around $70 but I have no idea if that's a realistic expectation.
