Hello all,
I will be getting married in Mexico and need to have the Mexican marriage certificate translated. I am wondering whether it is possible to find a translator within Mexico that will meet the standards of the UK Gov, or if it is better to wait until I am back and find a translator here.
Also, I will be logging into my wife's account to pay the fee and send the application while she is still in Mexico. Would there be any problems with my location being the UK while she is applying as someone outside the UK?

(May have used the wrong tag but this is the closest one related to my issue).
So basically, I have this smallish bump on my left arm between my upper arm and lower arm (I don't know what that area of my arm is named). It's been here for 2-3 weeks and is hardish to the touch, plus it's slightly red, even the skin around it is slightly red. It used to hurt whenever I just moved my arm any which way or touched it directly, but now it just itches with a slight uncomfortable feeling if you do itch it. I feel the reddish color has spread slowly since I've gotten it. I worry it's a superficial blood clot because it shares a lot of symptoms:
- It's warm to the touch
- Is slightly painful to touch
- Is a reddish color
- Feels sort of hard
- Is definitely itchy

Hi (I apologize in advance if formatting is messed up, I’m on mobile atm)! I’m sure you all see these posts all the time, but I am currently preparing to take the assessments in hopes to get contracted through this site. I am currently a college student looking for a side gig so I can supplement living while also maintains school as my number one priority. This also means I have exposure and passed all classes with high grades in Calc, bio, chem, Ochem, and even physics.
First thing I noticed is that there are many different exams for different skill sets like the classes listed above. My questions here is, am I able to take ALL of those exams to help improve my chances? Or should I play it “safe” with the general exam, if I am only allowed to take the one.
My second question is, once you were accepted (if I am) how long, approximately, did it take to receive notification?

2025.01.26 07:51 msbop AITAH for being mad my husband won't give me an item in a video game?
So i had purchased an item that was a rare level boot and was excited to have it as it was way better than what I had equipped. At the same time he swears he accidently sold his weapon... so he reloaded the game.
Causing the shop to reload and I can no longer get the rare item. It fixed his issue, but it lost the rare boot i had just gotten. And now I'm stuck with the weaker item i had already and mad I can't get the rare one.
Play a bit, and he gets the rare boot I had gotten as loot and I tell him he owes it to give me that for causing me to lose it once already. But because it's better than either of us have he wants to keep it.
I got mad and reminded him that he caused me to lose that item once already for being stupid and selling his weapon causing the reload when I already had it once. He says he "found it" so he gets to keep it.
I turned my controller off and said I won't play the game anymore then. If he can't play fair, I don't want to play together anymore..
It's an old ps2 game and I got him the console for Christmas but if we are going to play games together I feel it should be together and not stealing items from each other.
I feel he stole the item and am mad at him.

Hi, so I’m in college, and for a while I’ve been thinking about going down the career path of corporate law, mostly because math isn’t my strong suit and the job seems pretty cool (and how can you deny the salary)
But recently, (and I could be completely wrong here) I saw some posts on Reddit that if you aren’t in “BigLaw” then you’re gonna have a hard time making over six figures, and everyone in the comments seemed to cosign this. I’m praying that this person was actually talking about some other type of profession and NOT corporate law. I live in nyc so naturally the pay will be higher, but as someone who’s choosing a career path, I’m slightly worried.

So I just had a Caitlyn run with both Duplicate and Slow But Steady. Apparently when they are combined with Ace in the Hole the copies don't have crit chance at all. Only original cast has that 50% crit chance and that's it. My dream of dealing 30-60 dmg with just one card got ruined because the reality was 30-40 dmg.

Only using LAN with three clients. 2 computers and one tv.
Getting seemingly random throttling.
Normal speeds on both computers should be around 750mbps download, but suddenly it throttles down to 120 or less and settings remain the same
Is there anything I should be looking for to remedy thins problem?

Do you like hitting things? Of course you do, everybody does! And hitting things is the best thing about dnd, you can hit literally anything you want! Better yet, you can hit it with a gigantic axe too big to carry, while flying into a fit of rage so powerful people would be forgiven for thinking it was a new super-rabies. The barbarian is the best class for hitting anything and anyone hard enough they explode into a pinata filled with candy. Or blood, both are good. You get a d12 for your hit die, one of the most underused dice in the game. Of course, this means you'll be soaking up hits better than your enemies pillows soak up tears when they see you. You start with about every important combat item and proficiency, and any weapon of your choice. No tool proficiency, but who cares, tools are lame. Better yet, you have Spidey-Sense, enabling you to dodge traps, spells, social events and laundry. Of course, the most notable trait of the barbarian is the ability to enter a ferocious frenzied force, that foes will fear for all their fannies. During your rage, you may be easier to hit, but don't forget you're better at hitting everything else. Another cool thing is that, when enraged, your muscles grow to the size of *INSERT MUSCULAR PERSON*. I don't care that my analogies aren't real, intelligence is a dumb stat anyway. That's why mine is the one that comes after 3. Come play barbarian!
