GUN ACCESSORIES
- G17 OEM 10rd Mags (x2) - Not sure what Gen these are, but they're in good shape, with standard salt from use. - SV $30 for both/TV $35 for both
- Beamhit MP-400-B Laser Transmitters (x2) - Two Beamhit laser emitters with rifle (.223/5/56) and pistol (9mm) adapters, and the hex keys for adjusting the pistol adapters. These came to me from a buddy that thought they were laser bore sighters, but they were actually part of a military laser trainer system; the emitter was inserted into the barrel, would emit when you dry fire, and the hits would register and score on a special target receiver. They have some corrosion (internal and external) from the previous owner leaving the batteries in them too long, but I cleaned them up, and they work still work perfectly. - SV $100 for all of it/TV $120 for all of it
- Valken Tactical Tango Airsoft Goggles (Tan) - Came to me as part of a bundle, and they include the goggles themselves, storage pouch, prescription lens insert, and three main lenses: clear, amber, and tinted. Perfect for airsoft, LARPing, skiing/snowboarding, or just keeping the sun and dust out of your eyes. - SV $20/TV $25
- Venom Steel Chemical Splash Hooded Coverall (x2, size XXL) - Part of the same bundle as the goggles. They seem legit, but were too small for me to even try on. - SV $20 for both/TV $25 for both
- New OEM Blue CamelBak Replacement Bite Valves - One of the weirder things I stumbled across. These bite valves came off of hoses that attached to CamelBak bottles. All are brand new, and were removed wearing gloves. - SV $5ea/TV $10ea
- Casio Edifice (EQS920DB-1BV) - A pretty slick solar-powered watch that I originally bought to wear with my with my dress blues, until I replaced it with something different. Comes complete with all links, the box, pillow, manual, everything. In nearly perfect shape, only wore it a couple times for a couple hours each, and charged it every few weeks. - SV $80/TV $90
- Casion G-Shock Neo Tokyo Edition (GA140BMC-1A) - Bought locally. In overall good shape, but it's been worn, and it's previous owner was a smoker. It shows some wear from, well, wear, the strap got a bit melted (pic 2), and it still has a faint smell of smoke, but it's otherwise in good shape, and has a fresh battery in it. Watch only, no extras. - SV $55/ TV $60
- Swiss Army Officer's Ratchet Bezel Watch (38mm Case Diameter) - An older Swiss Army watch from around the early/mid 90s. The watch itself and original metal strap (included) show scuffs from wear, the glass is in overall good shape with some small scratches and chips around the edge, but the Swiss-made quartz movement works perfectly. I swapped the metal strap for a leather one, and put a new battery in a couple months ago. Perfect for the Swiss Army Knife enthusiast who doesn't mind a user. Watch and extra strap only. - SV $60/TV $75
- Swiss Army Cavalry Watch (37mm Case Diameter) - Another watch from the same era. Slightly smaller, this is more of a field-watch style. This one is super clean, with no visible flaws, original leathecanvas strap, and brand new battery. Swiss quartz movement works perfectly. Watch only, no extras. - SV $60/TV $75

2025.01.27 05:33 ExpensiveDrink415 I'm concerned for the next generation, they just stare at fire all day instead of doing chores.
I just don't understand, fire is a realitvely new discovery in my tribe since we picked it up from another one we have cordial relations with. Ever since it's been introduced some of the elders even just stare at it all day. Burning wood just to burn it, I get it, it's sorta cool to watch, but there's work to do! And other things to see!!! The younglings are especially suspectiable to this effect and stare at the fire for hours. Am I wrong for feeling this way? It's not even in the season to need that sorta heat all day.

Conheci uma mulher na empresa que trabalhei mas em outro estado. Na época estava no fim de outro relacionamento. As conversas começaram em um Starbucks onde, no primeiro dia, ela já contou todos os problemas que ela passou com o ex (incluindo abusos).
Ela é 1 ano mais nova que eu e também trabalha com TI.
Ela tem 1 filho e mora com a mãe em outro estado (o mesmo dos meus pais).
Durante 4 meses mandei algumas indiretas, piadinhas e até umas cantadas meio explícitas (huahuahua) mas ela só lia e ignorava.
Após eu falar que poderia arrumar emprego fora (tipo Europa) e sair do país a qualquer momento ela começou a mudar o papo e falou que tinha uns anos que não se envolvia com ninguém (se liguem neste detalhe). Começamos a nos falar com uma certa frequência e percebi algumas coisas esquisitas:
- Eu quase nunca conseguia falar com ela direto. Quase sempre só conseguia falar quando ela me ligava
- Geralmente umas 8 da noite (às vezes até bem mais cedo) ela sumia e só aparecia no dia seguinte no meio da manhã
- Quase sempre o bom dia dela era esquisito, seco, direto, do tipo "Estou a caminho do trabalho" e "Estou pensando em comprar tal coisa"
- As vídeo-chamadas, quando aconteciam, era basicamente eu falar com o garoto e quando o menino ia brincar ou fazer as coisas dele ela se despedia e desligava
Passou-se 1 mês. Neste período por 2 semanas ela ficou esquisita (como era lá no começo, seca) e faltando 1 semana pro meu retorno à cidade dela, ela começou a falar de saudades e tal.
Fiquei 3 semanas no estado dos meus pais e dela. Neste período nos vimos 3 vezes (basicamente 3 fins de semana seguindos).
No primeiro foi em um evento de tecnologia. Tiramos algumas fotos (algumas delas com conhecidos que ela esbarrou no evento e estava sorrindo de orelha a orelha, diferente das fotos comigo que estava séria). Na metade do dia fugimos para um hotelzinho próximo. Neste mesmo dia ela me pediu para passar as fotos tiradas no meu cel (dono de iPhone kkkkkkk) e botou o celular dela na minha mão.
Bem, fui passar as fotos e o celular dela nem vibrou. Fui mexer nele e estava desbloqueado e no zap (sério, sem zueira). Percebi que meu chat estava nos arquivados junto com outros com conversas bem tortas. Uma delas com um cara que enviou "Bom dia amor" e "Vou passar aí qualquer dia desses pra te pegar e sairmos" recebidas exatamente nos dias entre nosso encontro no hotel (o fim de semana) e meu retorno (quando fiquei 3 semanas com meus pais). Percebi que ela não respondeu "à altura" essas mensagens (se é que me entendem) mas também não rebateu que já tinha alguém.
Neste meio tempo conversei com a minha mãe. Não entrei em detalhes mas ela me disse que era pra relevar coisas do passado dela se queria mesmo esse relacionamento.
Cheguei a conversar com ela sobre um fim de semana nosso. Rolou até assunto de ir para algum apê próximo à praia e tal. Ela gostou bastante e passou a falar nisso direto.
No segundo fim de semana foi aniversário do garoto. Levei presente e tudo. O que me chamou a atenção foi que para um tio ela me apresentou como "colega de trabalho". Como eu não estava atento achei que fosse coisa da minha cabeça no dia.
Na semana seguinte seria a do nosso fim de semana. Ela passou a semana inteira perguntando. Eu cheguei até a conversar com a hospedagem mas bateu aquele estalo para não fechar. Na véspera perguntei 20 vezes se estava tudo certo. Somente à noite respondeu que "iria sair cedo para me encontrar no Centro". Não deu outra. A mãe não poderia ficar com o garoto, ela sabia desde o começo da semana mas só "se tocou de me avisar na véspera".
Voltei pra casa uns 5 dias depois mas não sem antes conversar com um amigo que descobri que a conhecia desde pequena e também era amigo do tal cara que mandou "bom dia amor" pra ela. Pelo que entendi ele era ex dela e volta e meia ele aparecia na casa dela e eles "fugiam".
Aproveitei que tinha voltado pra casa pra questioná-la sobre essa conversa que vi. Ela disse que era uma forma carinhosa deles conversarem entre si e que ele a ajudou demais quando teve problemas no parto do garoto e o ex dela a largou de lado. Mas que não tinham nada. Como vários conhecidos em comum estavam apoiando a gente ficar junto e me falaram diversas vezes que ela precisava de um cara fechamento pra dar suporte a ela e que o ex dela tinha sido um covarde pilantra, pensei que estava sendo até cruel. Vai que, né?
Só sei que tínhamos ainda 1 evento pra irmos juntos marcado desde antes de começarmos a ter qualquer coisa, em novembro. Teríamos 3 meses sem se ver, mas eu queria muito vê-la pelo menos mais 2 vezes neste meio tempo (se possível mais mas seria difícil por causa do custo). Deixei passar 2 semanas e mandei um monte de coisas pra irmos (de Oktober Fest que teve em SP a vinícola pra ir). Me ofereci pra pagar as passagens dela e tudo. Ela simplesmente ignorou (leu e fingiu demência).
Uns 2 meses depois, uma vídeo-chamada em dia de domingo, ela saindo da casa do tio. Responde pra ele que estava falando com um amigo do trabalho. Desta vez não deixei passar. Botei ela na parede. Alegou insegurança. Pedi explicações do que eu fiz que passou insegurança. Zero respostas. Alguns dias depois só me fala que comprou as passagens pro fim de semana do evento e que ficaria 3 dias e meio na minha casa.
Aí veio o fim de semana do evento. Quando sentamos pra conversarmos sobre nós, primeira coisa que ela falou foi do ex, que o tal tinha casa, carro, etc. Fui ignorante até pois estava de saco cheio com isso. Ela me acusou de estar sendo ignorante e que ela não tinha nada mais com ele há anos. Tá né?
Ela voltou pra casa. 2 dias depois ela me liga e fala que o tal ex, que era amigo dela, ligou pra ela pra falar que estava se divorciando e tinha medo da atual quase ex mulher levar quase ou todo o salário dele, que é de (míseros) quase 20 salários minimos brasileiros.
Bem, eu já estava bem puto com isso tudo.
Passou-se menos de 1 semana e ela me manda que éramos muito diferentes,ela muito decidida e resolvia tudo. Sem zueira mas achei que fosse meme, pois no "relacionamento" todo ela que era a inerte. Bem, e mandou que não daríamos certo casados. Disparei que ela estava de onda comigo, pois eu estava puto de ter passado 2 meses tentando combinar nos vermos e ela basicamente só lia e ignorava as mensagens.
Nisso já era final de ano, praticamente. Pedi pra ela uma conversa por vídeo-chamada, eu não estava a fim de viajar só pra conversar com ela. Aconteceu uns 3 dias depois. Na conversa eu revisei tudo, ponto por ponto, e falei que esse tipo de relacionamento não me servia. Ela, calmamente, pediu desculpas, disse que não estava enxergando o que ela estava fazendo. Disse que não aconteceria mais as conversas com o tal do ex que era amigo e que falou pro tio dela que eu era colega por insegurança. E que Deus tocou no coração dela que eu era o homem da vida dela.
Se lembram que eu falei dos problemas em falar com ela né? Sempre que eu ligava nunca conseguia falar com ela e quando alguém atendia era o garoto (tem uns 4 anos de idade ele, por aí). Vídeo-chamada quando acontecia ou era no meio do expediente (sim, ela ligava as 2 da tarde e não queria nem saber se eu estava no escritório) ou no começo da noite (aí pra me pôr pra falar com o garoto).
Bem, do nada ela começou a ligar todos os dias e ficar que nem aqueles telemarketing chatos o dia inteiro. Antes era impossível falar com ela. Depois virou uma quase opressão. No dia do meu aniversário foi o caos. Eu contabilizei as chamadas dela por 3 semanas. Foram em número bem maior que nos 5 meses de "relacionamento" nosso anteriores.
Me lembro também que por esses dias conversei com a minha mãe. Ela não fazia a menor ideia do que estava acontecendo (só sabia que eu e ela estávamos juntos mas elas mal se falavam). Uma das primeiras perguntas que ela fez foi se ela tinha filho e quando eu disse que sim, respondeu na hora que era pra eu pular fora.
Minha psicóloga, que acompanhou a treta toda, chegou a falar no meio do caminho que ela queria um provedor e pai pro filho dela (sim, a cidadã usou a palavra "provedor" diversas vezes ao longo dos meses) e não um homem.
Agora a cidadã quer ficar junto comigo, diz que me quer de todo jeito e que não pode me perder.

Basically, they let Meta subsidize the cap ex and then they built their own layer atop Llama. There is absolutely zero chance Deepseek is a thing without Meta spending the capex for Nvidia and other surround hardware. My son (age 3 level 3) has been having such a hard time sleeping. Toward the end of summer he had a terrible sleep regression and some nights wouldn't even sleep at all. Lately we've noticed that on the weekends he sleeps somewhat decent (getting up around 5:30 or 6) but every week night including Sundays he will be be up like clock work almost every 3-4 hours. I just don't get it. Looking for any advice with sleep.
