i'm wondering what the best HF SDR is to use with a computelaptop? i'm looking to receive frequencies in the LF, MF, and HF bands. i'm using windows 11 with an AMD ryzen CPU (lenovo laptop).
price isn't an issue. as long as it's under $1000 AUD i guess. i just want something that is really good for picking up weak/distant signals (i want to be able to pick up WWV clearly from southern NSW, australia, where it based), but also i would want it to have really good noise reduction and just be low-noise overall.
please do not suggest the RTL-SDR V4. i got one and the build quality is just terrible. messy solders, a horrible usb connector that stopped working after about a 2 weeks of use (no, it was not my laptop), a crappy enclosure, and the voltage regulator IC (i believe) on mine broke. also it has a lot of noise.
but yeah. just something that's really really really good. i'm kind of considering a standalone SDR receiver but i'm not fond of the $5k price tag.

Moro no Campeche, trabalho de casa. Fui ao RJ apenas uma vez na vida a trabalho e fiquei em Niterói por cinco dias. Confesso que não saí muito do hotel pela questão da segurança.
Hoje, do nada, comecei a ler sobre o Leblon/Ipanema quando estava pesquisando sobre bairros planejados no Brasil.
Li muitas coisas boas do Leblon: ótima segurança, requinte, sofisticação.
Aqui tenho segurança e algum requinte, mas falta sofisticação. Fiquei com bastante vontade de morar no Leblon por seis meses, talvez um ano. Realocar não seria difícil, mas não quero passar seis meses num lugar que vá me arrepender.
Então, aqui a pergunta:
vou ser feliz no Leblon?

I attempted to use Pop!_OS to install VirtualBox. This installation attempt failed with the error:
Error calling StartServiceByName for org.freedesktop.PackageKit: Timeout was reached
What is to be done about this error?
The command: "sudo apt-get update" also gets a timeout error as I describe in my thread at: https://www.reddit.com/pop_os/comments/1i8f87a/sudo_aptget_update_command_gets_error_timeout_was/ . Could that be related to this?

2025.01.27 04:09 Conscious_Basket5286 DMT had no effect on me

I decided to smoke DMT for the first time with a glass pipe. A friend of mine who knows about drugs and, as mentioned, had smoked it the day before, also kept me in the room while I did it.
Since I read that DMT burns quickly, I always wanted him to hold the lighter and light it while I inhaled it. And that's how I smoked it.
First, so that I could get a feel for it, we started with the starting dose.
I smoked the starting dose... waited and nothing happened. We increased to the medium dose. I then smoked the medium dose... waited and again nothing happened. By now we were both a bit confused, but then increased the dose again significantly. Now the third time I had the breakthrough dose in the glass pipe.
Then I tried it for the third time :D....and again nothing happened :(...
The person who supported me told me that I had done everything right and that I didn't know what the problem could be.
We ended it with that and I didn't try again. Unfortunately it didn't work. Not even a change in vision or any slight signs. Except that after the 3 failures the room smelled very strongly of DMT :D
When I smoked the DMT, I was even able to hold it in my lungs for about a minute, as I did in the third attempt. Did I perhaps hold it in for too long?
I've been waiting about 6 years to smoke it. And when I finally got the chance, nothing happened.
Could someone please help me?

Recently I've been playing Marvel Rivals and my status doesn't show? I tried refreshing the app, turning the "show activity" on and off but it doesn't show in playing.
When I clicked on PC my activity is blank, except for the last time I played weeks ago. The connect is fine my permissions are enabled what's the issue? I did change email/password this month but I don't see why that would be an issue? Would really appreciate any help in this.

Got scammed twice (in body text) The first time was for 2 golden party corgis I traded about 4 to 5 pages for them and they aren’t even worth as much as the rap says. For note I haven’t played much. I never knew a rap glitch existed. Second time around this person said that they could see cosmic values listing (I plan on mobile and I didn’t know cosmic value was a site) they told me my huge balloon dragon was only worth 70m but I just looked at cosmic values and it says it’s worth 120m. Those are my only 2 huge that I had left, that wasn’t my whale shark. I’m not gonna be able to get many of the sharks. I can buy at least two or maybe more of them but that’s about it :/
