 | Hi everyone! I was the lady that posted about waking up to find a moth crawling in my ear with the really crappy blurry photos. Good news is I got a better phone with a better camera. Bad news is, it happened again. My ear started to itch while I was driving a couple days ago and I scratched at it with my finger. Didn't feel any movement inside my ear, but did get out a long brown shiny piece that I now believe to have been a leg segment. Ear has continued to itch since then but I have 4 kids and life is hectic so I put this concern on the backburner because honestly what are the chances of this happening to me TWICE in less than 6 months. This morning the itching was worse, so we investigated using my husband's ear camera. We put it in my ear and immediately see more bug pieces. I haven't felt movement so I assume it was died at some point. I used one of my kids unused medicine measurement oral syringes so I flushed water into my ear and onto a paper towel. I panicked and used water that was too cold. Immediately I felt dizzy and nauseated from the dizziness (I have pretty bad motion sickness). It was an ordeal. I proceeded to spend 30 minutes vomiting and was finally able to flush my ear with room temp water. These are the pieces that came out. We used the camera again and my ear canal looks clear as far as we can tell. My ear still itches and I'm so grossed out. Luckily this hasn't happened to anyone else in my house ever and I have no idea where the rest of the insect went (but we know it isn't in my ear anymore because we checked with the ear camera). My ear hurts/burns/itches and I can't sleep because I want to cover my ears but I have to be able to hear my kids. This is the same ear the moth was in 4 months ago. Also I'm American so the idea of potentially having to pay an enormous ER bill if this happens to me again and I can't get it out myself is honestly scarer than the ear burrowing insects. I could really use some advice on navigating a tricky situation at work.
Last week, my manager informed me that a coworker had accused me of saying something offensive during a meeting. This allegation caught me completely off guard because, at the time of the meeting, everything seemed fine. My coworker didn’t appear upset, and we even had follow-up meetings where everything seemed normal.
The issue was only reported days later, and I’m struggling to understand what might have triggered it.
I take workplace interactions seriously, and I genuinely did not intend to offend anyone. However, I’m now worried about how this situation could escalate. My manager mentioned they plan to connect with the coworker to de-escalate, but there’s a possibility my coworker could escalate it further and involve HR.
I also can't help but wonder if there’s a political angle here. The coworker’s project has been struggling, and I’m concerned this might be a way to deflect attention. That said, I want to handle this with professionalism and integrity.
What should I do in this situation? Should I prepare for a potential HR conversation or even consult a lawyer? I like my job and want to resolve this constructively, but I’m feeling a little lost.
Any advice or experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to ask for some clarification regarding some of Wisdom Experience's courses. I've taken several philosophy-based courses that were incredibly valuable and led by highly reputable Buddhist teachers, and I truly appreciated the content.
However, I'm a bit confused about courses like Niguma's Dream Yoga, which seems to touch on the practice of Tummo. From what I understand, Tummo typically requires empowerment and guidance from a qualified teacher. The course description doesn't seem to mention this, so I wanted to better understand what the deal might be here and in so many of the other courses found on their website. 75F. She is currently in the hospital with a broken pelvis from a fall. She also has chronic extremely severe constipation and severe dry mouth. Also her cognition is all over the place.
