Hey I’m a 19y/o F dating a active duty military member. I was brought here to the USA against my will and not acknowledge at 12y/o. I wanted to fix my status since I found out about my status situation, I go to college now, pay taxes thru my ITIN as well never committed a crime not even a traffic violation. I have talked with many lawyers about fixing my status on my own but it seems my only option it’s thru marriage. I love my boyfriend and I have tried to be honest to him about my situation. Which have lift up a lot of my chest since it’s my biggest insecurity. Recently with new government and new plans, I have became a little worried about me. My boyfriend has proposed that if in any way I feel unsafe that I should marry him for my petition, but I personally don’t want to get married right now and even less only for that reason. I want to marry him yes but I want him to do it when his heart tells him to get in one knee. He has confirmed that I’m going to be the woman he will marry, but i personally want to wait more time until I turn 21. My question is should I take the opportunity he has given me, to marry him right now so I fix my status, or keep waiting until truly both of us actually feel ready to get married?

2025.01.27 04:40 Historical-Fee-2662 Denied care because of Lyme once before, nervous about disclosing it again
I'm going in this week for a visit with an orthopedic doctor for ongoing knee pain and elbow pain. One knee, both elbows. This has been going on for decades, since my bout with Lyme disease when I was a teen. In my 30's now. Knee is stiff, painful, doesn't bend completely as the other normal knee. Both elbows have slight stiffness and pain.
When the Lyme came on the pain, stiffness, and swelling of the knee and elbows were so bad I couldn't walk or bend my arms at all. I was in a wheelchair for a few weeks. Reason I'm going in to see orthopedic doctor now is because this has caused lingering pain for decades. EVERY SINGLE DOCTOR I mention Lyme to either doesn't know enough to treat it or flat out refuses to treat it.
Since that initial bout, I was treated with antibiotics and the worst went away. But I'm dealing with what can only be described as Lyme arthritis.
The visit this week will be my second visit with orthopedic. My first did not go well at all. X-rays were done: negative for arthritis in the knee. Exam was done, nothing was felt to be abnormal. Surgery not recommended. Doctor offered steroid injection, I declined. Doctor said nothing he could do for me, other than referring out to physical therapy and rheumatology.
I plan on doing physical therapy. I've been trying to get in with rheumatology, it is f*cking IMPOSSIBLE. They require a ton of labs, and office notes documenting condition. First rheumatology referral looked at my notes, my labs, told me would not see me because nothing qualifies me to be seen. Plus, two rheumatologists who looked at my referral specifically stated they do not, or do not know how, to treat Lyme arthritis. And that no rheumatologists within network treated that.
A referral to rheumatology from PCP also refuses to see me. Office notes and labs don't qualify me to see them.
I'm getting desperate. This orthopedic appointment is my chance to start fresh, start new with a different provider. Do I disclose my Lyme, or remain completely silent about it?
If I remain silent, I will tell them everything that happened, except the Lyme diagnosis decades ago. Why am I inclined to stay silent? Because multiple doctors have refused to treat me because I've mentioned Lyme. I've been asking around and I've found out that apparently "Chronic Lyme" or "Post Lyme disease syndrome" isn't a valid condition recognized by some medical organizations and all insurance companies. Great.
WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!? Your help is very much appreciated!

I'm currently employed but I'm highly motivated to leave my current job (toxic family owed company) for a similar job in the state my partner lives. She returned home due to health reasons, but we always planned on eventually building a life there.
There's a company I've previously applied to twice that seems like a perfect fit to me. First time I made it to round 2 of 3, but I got rejected due to them having an in - state candidate with similar experience. A month later, the position went back up.
The second time felt expedited, and I made it to the final round. I was confused why since the department director said I appear to be over qualified, but the hr person said they chose someone with more experience. I did request to top of the pay range provided, since I had 2 other final interviews lined up and they paid at least what I was asking.. which may have been a factor in my denial.
I ended up getting denied from the other 2 jobs at the begining of the year (one was especially heartbreaking since they said they wanted to give me an offer early on, but ended up taking an in-state candidate) and I haven't seen a similar job paying in my range since. I see that they posted the job again for the third time and I'm desperate enough to try to apply again. I know it's a red flag for how many times this job has been posted, but this job pays more, great growth opportunities, the person who would be my supervisor was very friendly, and I would be working from home most days.
My question is - should I just email the hiring manager directly or apply again on indeed? We have numerous emails between us from prior interviews. My current job is grossly overworking me and I can't stand my lazy and arrogant supervisor for much longer. How should I proceed?
TLDR: I want to apply to a job I've been rejected twice for already but made it pretty deep into the interview process each time. Despite it being a red flag I need this opportunity. Should I just email the HR person directly, just apply and hope they interview me again, or both?

I have Weapon Cannon 35 since April 2024, It has undergone major abuse from intermediate jumps to 6 foot drops. I'll say it has exceeded my expectation for a cheap fork. With 86kg weight, set my PSI to 90 and it has not bottomed in jumps. I added foam ring with semi bath as well, then clean it every 3 mos. and the stanchion is as smooth as brand new. Though both Air & Dampers are cartridge type and stated disposable, it fairs well and held up until now. With heavy hits I expect it to start loosing it's juice. So there you go, it's bang for buck.
Now here comes the issue & frustrations. The damper rod bottom thread is thin that I snapped it with over torque. This cartridge are replaceable but for my 140mm travel; it's frustrating to find the preferred length which is 580mm. I scoured the net for days & days now but still unfortunate to find one.
This is my inquiry for folks with damper knowledges. Is there a Serviceable damper with 34mm top 31.5 thread that can be used as an upgrade kit for my Fork?
