I live in the U.S. and I'm SO SO angry about everything that is and has been happening here. I'm posting this and probably gonna delete my account later so it can't be traced back to me. My family and most of my town and state are very right winged trmp supporters and I'm not. I hate that stupid orange and everything he's doing to the people around me. I'm a minor so if I speak up right now I could risk a lot. I'm counting the years until I'm 18 and can call them out on their bullshit. My half brother is African American, i have friends who are Latina/Latino who are TERRIFIED for their FAMILY being deported (put in a concentration camp, but nobody wants to talk about thay do they? š) . I'm an indigenous girl who is a lesbian & a victim of childhood SA so I don't know how people could see the allegations and controversy and blatant RACISM and still vote for trmp. I hate it here, I have more than most but I feel so helpless to the people that need the most help and support. I can't post anything about it because my dad follows me and he also can see activity on my device. I want to scream so badly, how can you have a daughter and be so obsessed with a rapist? how can you have an African American son and vote and like a racist? He has lgbtq+ friends and still supports trmp, hell, most of his friends support trmp. I feel so heartbroken and angry. I don't know what to do. Not to mention he's going to drill more, and the earth is already dying by the hands of man. This is just a rant, but I tried to keep it vague. I just believe that the people who are affected by this deserve do much better and I swear I will do everything in my power to do just that, even if it is for now in secret.

Rented an SUV that I ended up dying on us leaving us stranded more than 200 miles from home. We initially called AAA when we couldnāt get a hold of the host and Turo support put us on hold too long. AAA guy said that the car battery was fine but the car had some el critical issues going on and said we need to get another vehicle because itās not safe for us to keep driving the car as we may get stuck again. Upon successfully reaching Turo support, we were advised that the host had admitted that his vehicle just started having this issue and recommended that we try the step by step instruction he sent us via chat to get the car to power up again which did not work. The vehicle ended up getting picked up by a tow truck and my family or 7 had to look for another way home which was not easy and we were stranded for a bit. I was instructed by Turo rep to take pics of the vehicle when itās hooked up to the tow truck so we donāt get blamed for any damages after the car leaves our hands which we did. We also took videos. Now we find out the host has filed a damage claim against us saying we drove the car to the mountain and damaged the undercarriage of his car which caused it to be inoperable. First of all, host knew we were going to Mammoth Mountain, the road there is all paved with very little or no incline at all. The weather was clear and it wasnāt snowing nor were there any snow or ice on the roads. In fact there was no chain advisory at all the whole time we were there. The photos the host uploaded show minimal scratches under his car that doesnāt look like it could cause his car to be inoperable or cause his car not to power up. Iāve disputed his claim. Provided videos the car showing no damages and videos of AAA and the tow truck guy who picked up the car both saying the car had electrical issues but I donāt have any pictures or videos of the undercarriage but neither does the host, not before we picked up his vehicle at least so I donāt think he can prove those scratches werenāt already there. Also I ran the vin and forwarded the report to Turo showing the car had a couple of repair estimates to the bumper and undercarriage of the car in Sept 2024 but no record of repairs. Turo is saying renters agree to be responsible for damages while renting the car and i understand that but i think whatās happening is the host trying to shift the blame to us and have us cover costs to repair his car when thereās obvious proof that his car had a preexisting electricql problem that caused this. Our vacation was ruined and so much of our money was wasted already and this is just unfair.
