2025.01.27 05:20 Imaginary-Parking-53 Relapse very hard after breakup

So I had a break-up in november last year. First ever rel where I was having physical intercourse. Now that im over her but the habit of relapsing I formed just after breakup isnt stopping. And for the last 2 months it has gotten extremely bad. Atleast 2-3 times a day while having full time college classes. It is affecting my mental. Previously to the rel and breakup i used to do easy 21day nofaps or more. Kept me mentally calm and socially less awkward. Now im back to my old self again. So, I grew up in New York with an all-white family, barely any Asians around, and zero connection to Korean culture. I’m technically fully Korean, but I’ve never really been interested in Korea stuff or meeting other Koreans (or Asians in general).
For context, my school was like 99% white and out of like 1000+ people, there were genuinely like 4 other asians total, and no more than 3 indians at my school.
Anyway, I moved to Dubai in the UAE about 8 months ago, and it’s mostly Indians here, which is why I’m noticing this—but a lot of Indians seem to not like Koreans? (Or maybe its just me personally lol). I kind of just mind my own business though and it seems to be a Korean thing. It doesn’t seem to be a thing with Pakistanis, but with Indians specifically, I’ve picked up on it a lot.
Since I moved here and my geo location is UAE now, I also noticed a lot of Instagram posts where its clearly someone from India trashing on Koreans for whatever reason, or vise versa people from either Japan, China or Korea trashing on India / all other asian countries.
Is this actually a thing, or am I imagining it? If it is, what’s the reason? Genuinely asking because I don’t really have any clue about either side.
Again, I have no idea what Koreans as a whole kinda think about Indians— or honestly, anything. And clearly have no idea what Indians think.
It personally hasn’t really affected me at all but I just was curious about what’s going on lol

About 5 years ago I had a super short but heavy fling with a guy for literally a month. I mean…a month after we met he asked me to be his girlfriend, and then a week later literally GHOSTED me. No joke, the man went ghost on me. I had just gotten out of a super abusive marriage and ultimately realized I was about to get into a similar situation with this dude. He never really apologized but went on to act like nothing happened a few days later. Would send me things on Instagram and txt me like we were friends. Then I would randomly realize that I was being blocked and unblocked. When I confronted him, he said that it was because he would find himself looking at my profile late at night and it brought up feelings, specially when he would drink. So he thought blocking me would solve it. After a few weeks of this I ended up just telling him straight up that we could no longer communicate because it wasn’t healthy for me, and I felt like it was keeping me from moving forward. He said he understood and basically we haven’t spoken since. 5 years later, and he is still blocking me and unblocking me randomly even though we do not communicate. I even made a new Instagram page because my old was hacked, and every now and again I think about him randomly and check his profile 😬…sometimes I’m blocked, sometimes I’m not. Today I’m blocked lol. wtf is going on 😅 any thoughts?

Sorry for the long post. My question to the collective brain is what do you make of it, because I fail to give them the benefit of a doubt...
For the context, I resigned from my current academic job and started looking for a new one (I had my reasons). This story is about a place in SE Asia.
I applied in mid-Nov and heard nothing from them for a month. Then I informally inquired through my colleague/friend and got a response that I will hear from them in January.
In Jan, I received an email from the head of the committee, whom I knew personally. They forwarded me an automatic reply from my old job saying I don't work there any longer. To be clear, when I applied in Nov I was still working there and left a personal email for a contact exactly to avoid this scenario.
The content of the email was an invitation to a short Zoom interview. It was scheduled for less than a week from now. The suggested time clashed with my prior commitment that I couldn't change. I tried to reschedule, indicating that I'm flexible in almost any other time. This was followed by a long and exhausting email exchange saying how difficult it is to find time that works for many busy professors and an explicit invitation to withdraw the application. I insisted and the interview was rescheduled.
Opposed to other places, I was not informed about who is going to talk with me on the day. There were 7 of them, when I knew only one. All dudes. No introduction round. For some of them, the names were not displayed in the Zoom windows.
The interview was very tough with them making several attempts to understand why I left my previous job. No timeframe for the next step was offered since "it's a long process."
Overall, the conditions that they discribed and the way they handled my case until now make the place not very appealing for me. But I'm genuinely surprised by how they play the hiring game. What do I miss?

Hello everyone, I just got Madden 25 for the PS5. The first night I got it (earlier this week) it's worked just fine when connecting to WiFi and playing online. I tried to play again online numerous times today and it keeps acting up. I can't even load the game with my wifi connected, it keeps giving me the "please wait..." Message in the bottom right corner, but if I quit and reload the game with my wifi off it fires right to life.
So if I do that and try to connect to EA servers at the main menu after loading the game initially with no Internet connection (I should note my PS5 has no issues connecting to my Internet), I keep getting an error message that says EA servers are down but my brother has no problems connecting to his. When I try to connect, it seems to take forever to sign in or do anything and it's almost as if the the entire game is freezing up. I'm getting invites, and I'm able to send messages, but that's really it. It's like the game is trying to prevent me from doing anything because every button I click while signed into EA it's literally useless and freezes up and I have to quit and restart the game again or disconnect my internet from the PS5.
Like I said, my internet connection and speed is totally fine. Wonder if this is an EA issue. I'm just curious if anyone's ever ran into this?
