I’m taking this drug with the hope of not having food control my life and being more comfortable in my body but I’m 7 months in and qualify as a non responder. Even given the thousands I’ve spent, I cannot give this stuff up because it feels like my only hope. I get no side effects and feel no different on these meds even though I’ve maxed out. I don’t have any other conditions so I can’t even justify that it’s for overall health. I think I’m still doing this just because I don’t like myself and I’m addicted to the hope that it would help me. I don’t know how to stop now despite the cost and hassle. Any advice? How do I quit?

Hi all!
Tl;dr: would love to know what the experts say about these MRI pictures.
I’m 33F, diagnosed with hEDS, migraine and IBS. Medication currently: gabapentine 3x300mg and pantoprazol 40mg.
Sporadic use of morfine 10mg (before this maybe once a week or less). Since last week additional fentanyl 12ug for pain management every three days. I also take the standard vitamines like iron, B12, D.
Background:
I’ve had back pain since my teenage years, and after some X-rays it was labeled as menstruation pain and/or grow pain. This lingered on for years with on and off heavy backpain, but it always resolved after a couple of days of rest.
Two months ago the pain increased, to the point I couldn’t get out of bed at night due to the pain. Sitting upright was excruciating, but in the morning it resided so I thought it was similar to the earlier back pain.
Two weeks ago the pain got so intense I couldn’t walk or sit upright anymore. Overview of symptoms that could be related: - Lower back pain - Nerve pain in both legs till the ground, outside of leg and front of leg till knees. Legs also feel very heave when standing and fall asleep when sitting or lying down - Numb feeling in saddle area - Sometimes burning sensation back of thigh - Only urge to pee when laying down, need to push to get it out and I usually go 5-6 times in a row with big amounts of pee.
I have more symptoms but it’s hard for me to seperate what’s related to EDS and what’s related to backpain.
I’ve been to the ER because my GP considered Cauda but was cleared. Had an early MRI but the neurologist didn’t give me a solid answer as to what the diagnosis was. They just told me I needed another consult that I needed to pay for myself. More happened but the story is long enough by now.
I’m going in for a second opinion, but would love to hear if someone could enlighten me about the MRI pictures. I have all the slices, but it’s hard for me to know what would be useful or not.

Hi, I have lost about 90% of my hair due to alopecia and just been asked if I wanted to try DCP. Has anyone had any results from having this, I’m unsure whether to try?
I tried cyclosporine last year and it worked for me but I feel it made my skin break out so much that I was more self conscious of that.

Because some people are saying a methylated supplement could give you overmethylation. If i would take one without methylated vitamis clould there be other Problems or would i be on the safe side? I quit today. I tried to go in with a positive attitude this morning. Within an hour of being there I was already feeling misery and dread. I had 0 time in all of my banks and have even taken a couple occurrences as I haven’t been able to get through a whole day in a while. Nothing lined up, don’t know what I’m gonna do but I just couldn’t anymore. Will be steering clear of insurance. Even if other companies are better the whole thing is tainted.
On my drive home I experienced a strange yet powerful euphoric feeling/rush of emotion that I haven’t ever felt before. I started bawling my eyes out but they weren’t sad tears. This job has changed me as a person over the last few years. I used to be all smiles and laughter. The life of the party. It sapped away my joy for life. I hope I can find and become that person again. Good luck everyone.
I’m very lucky to have had such good coworkers and an amazing supervisor. They are truly the only thing about Geico that I had a positive opinion of. To you guys, thank you.
