2025.01.29 02:49 -27315 Suggestion: limiting the champion roster to 100 every season
ever since league first released, riot has been adding champions on a regular basis.
however AFAIK there is no long term plan for the ever increasing champion pool.
people have suggested to increase the number of bans to counteract this, but it doesn't address many other issues.
Balancing the game around so many champions will inevitably literally become impossible
Managing all the interactions will become harder, and we will see more bugs as the roster continues to grow.
Several champions are already in an oubliette having had no adjustments updates or skins in far too long.
The barrier for new players gets bigger with every champ.
Personally as a seasoned player there's a certain fatigue with keeping up, reading novel long patch notes, re-learning macro plays around every season mechanic (that i love).
Other modes such as normals and arams can be a free for all so people can scratch the itch of their favourite champ, but for ranked I think this would be the only long term solution.
I realize its odd I seem to be saying they should do less, but what I'm suggesting is they focus their efforts in order to make the game as an e-sport healthier.

I was just curious what some experienced competitors think. If it’s possible/realistic or if I should push the show out. I really want to show up in shape and not let myself down. I plan on hiring a posing coach to fix my poses lol. TLDR; I loved bodybuilding since I was a young teen/preteen but then I got depressed in adulthood and got too fat.
