Day trading can be incredibly difficult to figure out and I’m seeing a lot of new traders get wrecked with options because they don’t fully understand how they work. They watch wolf of Wall Street and see some idiot on WSB’s making bank on pure luck. Options are incredibly risky. They exist to hedge, they aren’t a reliable way of taking home a profit long term.
You're dealing with leverage, time decay, and the fact that you have to predict not just the direction of a stock but how far and how fast it’ll move. Most newbies don’t get how quickly options can go to zero.
I’ve also noticed new traders will overtrade, jump into complex strategies they don’t fully understand, or just panic when things go south. I don’t have data to back this up, but I’d bet a ton of new traders are wiped out by options alone.
If you're new, start small, paper trade to practice, and take the time to actually learn about options before throwing real money in. Risk management is everything in day trading. Don’t bet the farm on one trade.

hi all, hope this is okay to ask; one of my dogs was put to sleep yesterday and i’m planning on getting her paw tattooed. my only situation is i have two other dogs and as morbid as it sounds when the time comes for them to pass over as well i’d also want their paws tattooing as all three mean a lot to me.
with this in mind i was wondering where people might recommend getting this first one tattooed as later on down the line i’d want all three of them to be together again.
i don’t want them to end up being huge as all 3 are relatively small dogs so ideally taking suggestions where they’d all fit quite nicely and not look too messy together :))

TL;DR: My MSI monitor stopped working, and after initiating the RMA process in late December, I received a full refund (equal to the original price, including taxes) on January 27th. MSI service was professional and transparent throughout the process.
My MSI gaming monitor (MAG251RX) stopped turning on around the last week of October 2024. Fortunately, my 3-year warranty, which included an additional 3 months for registering the product on the MSI website, was valid until January 18th, 2025.
On December 31st 2024, I took the monitor to F1 info solutions in my city. After inspecting the device and confirming it wasn’t working, they informed me that the usual RMA turnaround time was around two weeks. The monitor would then be shipped to the MSI central service office in Delhi for further evaluation.
On January 16th, 2025, I called the MSI service toll free number for an update. they told me they’d had a huge volume of products and staff vacations coincided around the new years so they’d check the status and get back to me. I got an email the very same day that they’d taken it up for inspection and would confirm the RMA status within the next two days.
On January 21st, I received an email from the head of MSI India customer service informing me that the monitor was out of stock. They offered a credit refund equal to the price I paid for the monitor back in 2022 (including taxes).
After considering the offer, I replied the same evening with my bank account details. On January 23rd, I received a call from the MSI Delhi office to reconfirm my account number and IFSC code. Today, January 27th, the full refund amount was credited to my account.
I’d read a lot of stories on this sub about people receiving lower refunds or replacement models they didn’t want. I was worried this might happen to me too, but I’m happy that MSI India offered a fair refund matching my original purchase price.
Am I incredibly lucky or is this the norm for MSI India service currently?

Hey all, I would really appreciate some recommendations for a decent battery-powered amp.
Here’s the issue. I think I need one with a detachable battery that charges separately without being plugged into the amp. For some reason, if an amp is plugged directly into any of the power outlets in my home, they seem to get permanently damaged.
I wrote about this issue I’m having in a previous post so feel free to check that out, but the TLDR is this: my home outlets are blowing the ground on my amps. I tried different outlets, a power conditioner, different amp models, different guitar, cables, everything I could think of. I called an electrician and they did a pretty thorough exam and couldn’t find anything wrong with my outlets.
So, the only option I have left is an amp that doesn’t connect to an outlet. Are there any amps out there with detachable batteries that can be charged separately without connecting the amp to an outlet?
I’m hoping to stay under $400 as my budget. Thanks in advance

 | my natural lateral incisors are very small from clenching them from the time i was a child. i had composite dental bonding done on them and it helped with my self esteem quite a bit, though it doesnt seem like a permanent fix… after two and a half years though they might look okay at a glance, they are chipped, rough on the surface, discolored, and one of them is super thin on the end. my front teeth also stick out quite a bit and there’s a little bit of space between my lateral incisors and canines. i am hoping 2 veneers would bring my incisors closer to my front teeth and close the slight gap when they meet at my canines. submitted by theronica1 to askdentists [link] [comments] |

Porém esse menino atualmente da uma meia foda para mim, mas ainda sou totalmente apaixonado por ele, sonho com ele recorrentemente e quando sonho, acordo na maior melancolia e tristeza, que perdura a maior parte do dia. A gente parou de se falar por motivos bem delicados que ocorreram enquanto estava rolando o processo de voltar com minha namorada. Porém eu, junto com minha namorada, já tentamos criar alguma relação novamente com ele, mesmo que seja de amizade, ele até ja veio ficar um final de semana na nossa casa e dormiu com a gente, na mesma cama. Porém dificilmente ele responde minhas mensagem, creio que não seja porque ele me odeia, mas sim porque apenas não liga mais pra mim, por conta disso, resolvi não incomodar mais a vida dele, pois me sentia como uma "pedra no sapado dele".
Enfim, sonhei com ele hoje e só queria conseguir tirar todos os pensamentos sobre ele da minha cabeça, então decidi deixar um pouco aqui para ver se ajuda.

As the title says, i had some short in my feed of some dude going on about how it is his job to get fucked up, clap cheeks, etc. because it goes hand in hand with him making beats or some bs. When i looked at his views on different platforms, there is no way he is making money to live off that, though his response to my claim collecting welfare and daydrinking isn't a real job, he told me: "Lmfaoooooooo I wish I had welfare. Royalties and publishing paid for these drugs and liquor dweeb".
So i started looking at his Label, where every single Artist is even more irrelevant than him, hard to even find a soundcloud or anything, so i knew there aint no royalties.
Looking further on the website i saw they have monthly paid memberships with promises like: "Distribute your music worldwide across all major DSPs, with guaranteed radio play in the USA and South African markets to amplify your reach."
Coming from people nobody knows and have ~6k IG followers, i feel like this stuff just doesn't add up, what's your guys opinions on this?
