To be very direct, the vast majority of Christians—who are straight—have no idea what it feels like to suppress a core aspect of someone else's being. When it comes to romantic and sexual relationships within the faith, all that is typically required is to avoid promiscuity and commit to one person for the rest of your life. That is what LGB Christians want more than anything, but they are unable to pursue it due to the doctrines of the scripture.
Whether you understand it or not, human beings are inherently sexual beings; we yearn for affection and intimate connections with a partner. Yet, many who of you think you are doing them a favor by making them feel guilty for wanting what you already have. Making them feel guilty, dirty, unclean, or even possessed simply for being different, all while promoting a way of life that they cannot authentically live. If you are not a non-practicing homosexual Christian or a heterosexual Christian living a celibate lifestyle, you have no real grounds to ask such a significant sacrifice from them, as you will never have to face that level of personal struggle in your own life.

As someone who's been into iems for the past 2 years who's only bought budget iems and have been unsatisfied with their sound signature, despite the iem which is supposedly having my kinda preference in sound sig. My previous iems have been the truthear reds and moondrop chu-2. For my dac I own a moondrop dawn pro. Need a really good iem which has a fairly neutral tonality with exciting bass......do help me out <3 (reviews on yt are simply eating my mind out 🥲)

2025.01.27 16:58 I-Pee-Razors Any success stories here from someone quitting this godforsaken game?
I've been playing this game for 6 years now. I've already reached Mythical Glory back in 2022 and stopped playing the game seriously after that. For years I would only play every once in a while and I never pushed rank again.
It was only this season that I started to play seriously again. My initial goal was to reach Mythical Glory again.
I'm at Mythical Honor now with 66 games and 82% win rate. Getting to mythic was kind of a breeze. Mythic on the other hand is pure cancer. Seriously my teammates back in legend were a lot better compared to the brain dead people I'm getting consistently in mythic. It's almost like moonton badly wants to lower my win rate.
Honestly this experience reminded me of why I quit multiplayer games in the first place and started playing single players instead. I can quit now but I know I'll probably be back again in a year or two if I ever see an interesting meta again.
So probably best to block anything related to mobile legends lol if we were to quit seriously.

TLDR: Got into top choice law school that gave me significantly low scholarship RD (merit of 10k for 30k for 3 years/ COA without scholarship: 50k =150k debt/loans when many in a similar data bracket receive roughly 25-30k per year for 90k for three years. How to ask for reconsideration without having competing offers?
Disclaimer: Yes I do know that there are various factors besides raw numbers that go into merit scholarships and that none 2 cases are the same.
Hi. Heard back from my top law school and have seat deposit due in April. I absolutely have fallen in love with this school, the area, their speciality in international law, and want to practice in the city they are located in (grown up here as well). I am struggling with the fact of merit scholarship award and am trying to figure out how to ask for reconsideration. I do not qualify for much financial need aid as they ask for parents $ situation but will be funding my entire education for law school myself and am freaking about taking on potentially 150k in debt even if I can bottom it out in 4-5 years if I'm lucky.
COA: is 60k without scholarship per year.
Merit Received: 10k for 30k for all 3 years
Acceptance Rate: 30% | ALL DATA FROM 2023-2024

My LSAT was below their 25th percentile but self reported data for the last five years on lsd.law shows a trend that those who have around the same as myself received 30k per year for 90k total.

For this school only 2.7% of students pay full sticker price and they are well known for supporting their students. 16.6% receive $$ for less then 50% of the COA. 80.7% receive coverage from 50%-99% tuition. A 50th percentile discount (scholarship) of $41k/y means that half of the full-time students with a discount (97.3% of full-time students) paid at least $41k less than full-price tuition of $61,124.

Is there any possible way of asking for a reconsideration? I understand that my LSAT is below their 25th percentile but I believe my softs, LORS, Academic history, involvement, and GPA can make up for it. From looking at lsd.law (which yes I know is self reported) I haven't seen anyone else with my LSAT score accepted yet this cycle but have seen those who high LSAT but low gpa accepted. I feel like they're just aiming for myself to subsidize all these other scholarship and when looking at trends they have awarded substantial awards to those in my same raw numbers or around those numbers. Originally, my application was applied through the correct program but my portal was set up and I was put into a different application round (ED even though I applied RD). They had to switch my portal for the accurate deposit deadline etc. Genuinely I have the stupid baby inkling too that there may be a possibility that my scholarship package could be incorrect if even my portal set up with my data was? (I mean this unironically as I am grateful for any money a school would grant me but I don't want to leave $ on the table if there is any). Like I said I do understand that there are multiple factors that go into merit scholarship decisions and I'm not trying to say that my package is unfair as I am saying that the trend makes my data appear slightly unusual. I would appreciate any advice or success stories. Is there a polite way of asking for reconsideration because I don't want to start law school with a bad or greedy reputation. Thank you.
