i was graphic designer at an agency for 5 years before deciding to start my own studio last year (march). so far, my total revenue for a year has been only 3K, and for the past two months, i havent landed a signle project.
ive tried a lot posting on instagram, cold emailing, linked in outreach, but none of its has brought consistent result . i even lowered my pricing, well i suspect its more about about reach and convertion rahter than price sensitivity though. but iam desperate lol, i tried to list on fiverr and upwork its an absolute bloodbath so many competition there.
now iam exploring reddit as a potential outreach method.
i didnt expect finding client will be this hard tbh lol, any advice what should i do?

2025.01.29 06:10 Mermaid-88 How is it that ASL hasn’t been integrated into schools yet?
This is mostly for other Americans because other nations use their own sign languages. I’m 17 and have taken it upon myself to leave a little bit of ASL incase I ever need it. I understand many schools do offer ASL but not nearly enough of them. My school offers Spanish or French. I understand Spanish because it is our second most spoken language here but French isn’t. I’m sure I’m more likely to run into a deaf American in America than a French foreigner. I guess I just feel like Americans should be learning AMERICAN sign language before thinking about foreign languages. It’s so important but for some reason neglected. Is there a reason?

2025.01.29 06:10 IllustriousRice1058 Is it me or does my PT just suck?
I fractured both my ankles September 29. Right ankle fib chipped bone (technically fractured). Left bimalleolar ankle fracture. I am now about 16 weeks post op. Got the ORIF October 10, hardware is plate and 9 screws. Did all the things Doc said, splint NWB to boot , to brace, to wrap and compression socks. I started PT in December. I explained prior to this injury, my job requires me stand and walk while lifting , pushing, pulling, and moving heavy things for 10 - 12 hours per shift. I usually walk between 12- 15 miles on a real slow night. I walk 15 - 25 miles on normal to busy nights. During peak or prime it will be in excess of 25 miles every night for 5 to 6 days straight. My job is physically strenuous and I love it. I need to recover and get back ASAP.
I do all the things she says , at home things she tells me, but honestly, I am not seeing that much improvement. My doctor seems to think I should be further along as well.
I do not have good ROM in the left ankle. I can't stretch my calf or Achilles tendon at all. My ankle doesn't bend that way without severe pain. I have no balance on my left foot at all. I can't do stairs. I can barely step up or down a curb in a parking lot. I can stand about 25 minutes. I can walk about a quarter of a mile before my lower back locks up and I have to sit down. She has me doing bicycle, various leg lifts and toe raises. (I'm still not able to raise myself up on my toes of the left foot). I don't feel any of that is getting to the problem of all my muscles are tight due to not being able to stretch and my balance and ROM is causing severe back pain limiting my mobility. Which in turn is making progress nonexistent. I thought after almost 2 months of PT I would at least be able to stretch my calf like before I was injured. Honestly, I thought I would be able to walk at least a mile or two by now. I can barely make a walk around a grocery store. What does a good Physical Therapist do exactly? I've read other posts of people saying measurements...... of what? My PT has never measured anything that I know of. My doctor is wanting to steroid shots on my next visit. I am not inclined to receive them as I had shots for a different injury when I was younger and it didn't work. I am wondering if I need an MRI to look at any soft tissue injury that might be preventing my progress or does my PT just suck and she isn't giving me correct things to do to address my recovery. Sorry so long. I've lurked on here since my injury reading others progress and concerns. Thank you all for your sharing. It helped me tremendously. Any advice , thoughts or experiences are welcome

I’ve never really noticed that much of a difference between the two, I want to put one of the new ++ evos on my Thuram but not sure which one would be better for him. He has very well rounded stats so if DLP has more attacking elements to it maybe it’ll be the better choice, as well as he already has Holding+.

2025.01.29 06:10 Holiday_War1548 9 month old taking over an hour to go back to sleep at night
Baby’s wake windows are typically 2.5-3 hours. On the shorter end of the spectrum for the first one. He typically gets 2.5 hours of day time sleep. Sometimes. Little less. We use Ferber to put him to sleep, and he’s out after one check in. But he’s been waking up very frequently at night and will not go back to sleep. He just cries and whines. I had to resort to rocking, but he woke up as soon as I put him down or within 5 minutes. My husband will rock him and he’ll stay asleep at least for an hour or so. Feeding doesn’t typically help much unless it’s after 2 am or he won’t finish the bottle and will still wake up at least once. I’m just at my wits end and need some sleep. But cry it out just doesn’t work. Plus we live in a town house and I worry about our neighbors hearing him scream at 1 am.

Visto un recente tentativo di furto subito da un mio dipendente mi chiedevo se ci fossero delle serrature extra da applicare alla cabina di guida (lavoro a fiere e mercati e, nonostante il furgone fosse chiuso con la sicura, un tipo di mente semplice è riuscito a salire al posto di guida scassinando la serratura). Fortunatamente si sono accorti subito.
Innanzitutto, in fase di configurazione, opzionerò l’antifurto. Se non altro potrebbe scoraggiare eventuali tentativi.
Mi chiedo, però, se esistano delle serrature extra. Conosco i safelock da applicare alle porte del vano di carico, ma se ci fosse qualcosa di più indicato per le porte della cabina di guida, sarei interessato a conoscerle.
Il mezzo sarà, con tutta probabilità, un Volkswagen Crafter. Grazie ragazzi e buona giornata.
