So I acquired a very nice M42 reproduction ET68 helmet in a lot of things I picked up on eBay a couple years ago, I decided to refurbish it into a more accurate late war single decal LW helmet (as would have been correct based on the fake lot number). This started out as a pretty poor example of a Russian Liberation Army helmet… I am still awaiting the decal and to weather it, but I figured you all might enjoy the project so far! I’m more than happy to answer any questions regarding materials used and techniques!

2025.01.29 03:00 Specialist_Try4078 Is this a German Roach and Am I Looking at an Infestation
 | I’m located in central Florida-single family residence. So full story-I saw what I didn’t recognize as a possible small roach at a glance a few months ago in a bathroom. I guessed it was a water bug because I have only seen bigger cockroaches (American cockroaches?) up north and didn’t think much of it because I didn’t see anything further. To be completely honest I wasn’t able to kill it or track it down because I was on the toilet and it scurried away before I could get to it. Anyway the other day my sister found a dead bug (which may have been a roach outside my bedroom (my bathroom is an en-suite) that I’m not sure how long it was there. And of course, the next day, I saw a roach that looked like the one in the pic above. I once again was on the toilet and not able to get to it before it scurried away again. That was yesterday, and I’ve been scouring the subreddit for a plan of attack but I didn’t have a picture to post for identification. I found this guy in the shower tonight and it looks the same as I remember the one from yesterday. I haven’t seen any smaller roaches than one this size so if it is a German I’m not sure if I’m looking at a breeding population yet. Honestly I’m wondering (read: hoping) if it could be the same one from yesterday. I still plan to get glue traps and possible gel traps to figure out more but figured I should check here first before getting too ahead of my self and setting off my anxiety. TLDR, is this a German roach and am I dealing with a possible infestation or could this be a one off? So me and my ex broke up back in April and i really miss him but he cheated multiple times in the relationship and always made up a half ass excuse, eventually i left but he has tried getting me back since. It’s taken everything in me not to go back but lately its been running through my head like crazy and I don’t get why. I found out he’s “talking to someone”, and it kinda hurt. Im the one who turned him down though so i tried being okay with it. Last week we talked and i causally asked about the new person and he casually said they haven’t met yet bcs he lives in south Carolina and we’re in ga. He said it’s not as serious as i think. On the 16th i had a moment of weakness and he sent specific photos and i sent some back and we also fell asleep on FaceTime like old times because we live 4 hours apart. Then on Wednesday the same thing happened and a few days ago I find out on Thursday they became official. They have each others names in their bios and are posting each other and the other guy is posting how much he loves him. Part of me wants to tell the guy because i got cheated on by him so many times and he tried to hide it, but technically it was before they became official so im not sure if im just being a petty person. I also saw the guys TikTok and him putting his initials in the caption of a video on the 16th which was the same day we did those things. They started talking around Christmas so i thought yeah it wasn’t serious like he said, and him telling me that something between us still stands and never know if we’ll be together again. I plan to maybe block him and finally end this chapter but part of me also feels bad for the guy not knowing. I went through hell finding out on my own and wish someone was there to tell me but it also feels so wrong. Part of me wants to hold out and try being friends but another reason is to see if he tries to hit on me again for proof but since he posted him i assume it’s serious but idk. Thoughts?
