 | So I normally wear a men’s 10.5 in most shoes. I got this in 43 which is a men’s 10. It looks huge here and I’m assuming I should size down. The issue is I have wide feet so I’m scared if I go lower the length will be fine but they might be too tight on the sides. This is regulawide fit btw. I heard that the shape molds to your foot and over time they might curl and shorten lengthwise. The toes and arch feel fine but these just look massive to me. 2025.01.29 02:42 Few_Valuable2654 Alla Prima Oil Painters - how did you figure out your technique?
I went to an art class the other day and the teacher mentioned that when I block out colours I am adding too much detail too early on. It then dawned on me that I usually finish a painting in one session and that I generally don't like spending more than one or two sessions on a painting.
I like the feeling of locking in for four hours and just doing the thing. Like a bulldozer just pushing ahead. I don't know if its because I am impatient and have low frustration tolerance? Because I am a mom and have shit to do? I also get bored/disheartened quickly if its not shaping up from the get go. Also have ADHD. I think part of it could be that I am fearful that just because I could paint something nice today, tomorrows layer will ruin todays work? idk.
Not sure if that means I should try out All Prima method and hone in on that or if I need to work on my patience more and force myself to work slower?
How did you know you were an Alla Prima painter naturally?
Yes I am severely overthinking this I know.
