 | Ive been getting this on my back and shoulders for a long time, usually after laying in bed on my back for a while or after taking a hot shower. Ive given up on scrubbing my body while showering since a few years ago because it made me itch a lot afterwards. Ive just tried to experimentally lay on my back for a bit and you guessed it.. the last pic was the result. It doesn’t hurt but it’s itchy and annoying, usually goes away within an hour. I decided to go back to school, and the only thing that felt like a fit based on my interests was political science. It seemed more relevant than my other interests like history, anthropology, music, etc. I’ve always been fascinated by politics. I found a program that sounded really good, the seminars seem amazing, and I want to seriously advance my research skills
So I took the last five months to get the application together. I finally felt like I had some purpose and direction in life. But I finished the application and have yet to submit it.
Basically I took all my time in those five months only doing the application. I have barely started actually trying to find out if this is a good fit for me. I have no plan in place. I just assumed I would get the masters and figure it out later , but reading posts on the grad school sub has me in extreme doubt about doing that.
So what is a good plan for political science? What direction do people go? Im totally ignorant. And what is worse, in spite of my major interest in history and politics, I’ve never taken a political science course in my life. I can’t believe all my plans have been shifted so fast. I no longer feel confident in applying. So I probably won’t. Maybe next year. So I guess I’m trying to start planning for then, now that my application is done.
tl;dr - finished poly sci application after five months of intense work. Major doubts now at the finish line. I have no actual plan. I don’t think three days is enough time to form one.

2025.01.29 02:50 sternumb I think I got lied to at a "vegan" restaurant
I wanna start by saying that this is why I NEVER, EVER eat out. I just don't trust people with my food and today was a good reminder of why I do it.
So, I often have to go out of town for work, and I always bring my own food for the day. Well, almost always, because yesterday I was too lazy to cook and thought that I could just look for somewhere to eat, since the area is quite wealthy and there are tons of nice vegan restaurants there.
I went to a place with amazing reviews, the interior was very kitsch, but what I expected from a way-too-expensive vegan restaurant.
I get the menu and I spot red flag number one. The menu lists a goat cheese entree. Goat. Cheese. Okay, so this is a vegetarian restaurant, I hope I can still find something 100% vegan.
A tofu burger catches my eye, it looks delicious and I'm looking for something high in protein. However, I do have some mild allergies, so I ask the waitress what ingredients it has (they weren't printed on the menu). She tells me that it has cheese. Okay, I ask her if it's made from cow's milk, and she is very snarky when she says "we're a vegan restaurant sir". Okay, great! Supposedly it's cheese made from chickpeas, my favorite actually.
So my food finally arrives, and I was starving so I dig right in. The cheese seems almost too cheesy, but I've only ever eaten homemade vegan cheese so hey, maybe this is some magic you only find in a plastic container. I may be an idiot, I know. I should've trusted my gut. I know.
Anyways I inhale the entire thing and pay, I even leave a tip. With what I paid I could've bought a whole week's worth of groceries, I definitely got ripped off. I hopped on my uber and went straight to work.
So a thing about me is that I am very, VERY lactose intolerant. My stomach did NOT like that 300 pesos burger. As soon as I got to the office building I rushed to the bathroom and vomited my soul out. I thought I was going to die.
3 liters of electrolytes and tons of apologies to the cleaning lady later, I'm finally back home, drinking a whole pot of a homemade remedy for my tummy. So yeah, moral of the story, idk, double check that the cheese is actually vegan

I’m SSF/offline, have a sorc that’s starting hell and have some good normal items for leveling. I’m starting a barb and have used double swing/frenzy before but have seen that bonesnap is good for barb but it means I can’t do double swing.
Would bonesnap come later in a respec? Does double swing/frenzy take me through NM?
I’ve got sigons, steel and blood rise morning star for my weapons and points in mace mastery and double swing. Am I on the right track?

I had a permit last year that was going to expire, so I went to the dmv, asked them to cancel it, and retook my permit.
Im trying to schedule a behind the wheel test, but it says I’m not eligible? On the (now voided) permit, I took a test 2 weeks ago on Friday and I’m trying to schedule one for this Friday.
Is it just a system error? Technically I should be able to take it since it’s a new permit and I’m over 18, but it keeps giving me a pop up saying that im not eligible.

Starting my first coco grow and using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A+B (got it discounted) for veg. Currently feeding at their full strength for week 2 with no extra calmag. I plan on using Canna for flower but wanna get through these gallon containers. When emailing AN they say to use at full strength with RO water and that I won’t need to supplement cal-mag. Other sites say that I should start with at least 250ppm cal mag when using RO and then add my base nutrients. These pots are 1 gallons with 70/30 coco perlite. They are still completely saturated after a day of not watering but many people seem to say to feed daily regardless to keep the nutrients in balance. Should I be watering daily at this point when my plants are so small and the coco is still pretty saturated even on top? And any opinions on whether I should be adding some cal-mag to my RO water before adding base nutrients and just lowering the base a tiny under full strength because it already looks like they are cal-mag hungry. Thanks to all coco growers. I have been referring to cocoforcannabis but still don’t know if I’m doing this right.
