On 1st January I visited a RTO in Dahisar Mumbai and I went there for my DL test and the area in which it is located is backward filled with slums and on top of that when you enter you can smell piss.
The moment I enter I guy approached me and ask why was I here and I told him that I'm here for my DL test. After which I asked where is the officer who will take my test. FYI my test was scheduled for 10:30am and it was 11am and upon asking the guy said sahab toh abhi aye nahi.
Then he said that if I want to make a DL then he can make it for just ₹1500 (not bucks, losers) and then he said that I just have to give my application number, money, and then be present at the test location and appear in front of the officer, tell my name, and give him the otp and done in 7 days my dl will be with me.
I lost my mind these corrupt people are trading lives not only of the innocent people but also the immature driver or the person who doesn't even know driving.
There are 24 counters of that RTO and every officer is corrupt counting money and taking bribe in open they've no shame and no moral responsibility towards people or the society. They have just 1 rule apna kaam banta bhaad me jaye janta.
FYI guys, I still don't own a license.
What are your thoughts? Have you made your license in such way?

Hi all I was on tax credits but when I split with partner and became a single parent it was switched to Universal credit. I was working full time and all was fine. I changed jobs 2 months ago to get a better work like balance after 9 years of working shifts. Well 2 months in and the owner and manager are making my work life horrible. Added into that the nature of the job has left me with back problems and I’ve been signed off sick (I don’t get sick pay). I’ve decided as I’m in probation period to hand in my notice while I’m off sick. I am now looking for another job and in process of signing up for bank work at the nhs trust I just left. I have phone appointment with UC today. I’ve read on my UC account that I could lose money if I choose to leave a job but not how much this will be. I’ve never been in this situation before and I’m worried. Can anyone tell me if UC will still help me? For background I am a single mother of 3, 19 year old who is away at university, 18 year old who is in final year of a-levels and 15 year old still in school. Living in social housing. No other benefits apart from child benefit. Thank you

2025.01.30 06:34 DavidFel250 When Alt Coin Season??
Ok ok I know the alt coin market has been pretty crappy these last couple months and TBH I am not in that much profit on my alt coin bags after being in them for what seems like forever. BUT regardless of that I do believe that we are going to see a surge in the price of alt coins within the next couple months. Now why do I think that:
a. So now that a pro crypto government has been elected, they have been making waves in the crypto space with talks of no capital gains on Bitcoin and other cryptos that are American made like Solana, Cardano, Avalanche, XRP. There's even talks of altcoin ETFs to be created. All very bullish signs for alt coins.
b. Also, if we look at Bitcoin Dominance (BTCD) on Tradingview, it’s a huge predictor of whether alt coins are going to be on the uptrend. In the previous bullrun BTC ran to all time highs, and kind of topped out. That’s when the whales and institutions decided to pull their profits from BTC and funnel them into the alt coins market which had a higher potential for upside than BTC.
c. BTCD is on an absolute tear and doesn’t seem to be slowing down, so that’s why we’re seeing a delayed alt season.
d. I also believe we won’t see as exponential returns as we did in the previous cycle on alts because the market is so saturated with 100s of thousands of tokens. BUT one could argue that there will be more capital coming into the crypto with more institutional and bank capital coming into the crypto space. So no one really knows, maybe I just have bear market PTSD from the last cycles top and round tripping my bags.
e. BUT I think with all the bullish things coming in for the crypto and alt coin space we will see BTC top out and BTCD drop significantly in the next 6 months. WE JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT.
f. Tips for this bullrun to maximize your gains: Learn how to do technical analysis on Tradingview, even if you are just a spot investor, this way you can time your entries and exits better.
g. Also learn fundamental analysis as that is WHAT moves the market, technical analysis is HOW the market moves.
Even with making some great profit last year and this year, this has been a tough bull market to play so far it seems, or maybe I’m just paying too much attention to it. Looking for feedback and your guys thoughts on the current market environment and potential scenarios for the next 6 months.

I still consume media but don't remember the last time I derived pleasure from it. • lost 8 KGs in 2 months through dieting and walking in my room, my weight hasn't dropped further in the past month. • difficulty in recalling things. • no sense of time, day to day is a blur. • the last time I went outside was in October 2024.
