Wooden spade seems very strong. Very easy to craft, decent durability, kinda low weight (1.5 vs 2 for normal spades), good damage, good range. Only weak point is kinda slow attack speed.

His last antibiotic dose is tomorrow. Hes already losing use of his legs. Last time he got this infection he was near death within half a day. I pray it happens that fast. He might be gone before the week is even over. I'm the only other person in the home with him. He's completely lucid right now and frustrated and upset.
It just hit me or sort of has been hitting me in waves that I have to watch him die. I don't know if I'm strong enough to sit with him as he passes but I have to be. Every noise he makes in the other room makes my chest sink. I'm scared. He's going to die from sepsis which I heard is peaceful and maybe it makes it easier but it doesnt feel like it does.

So I was curious to how those who are on medical leave/ long term disability. What do you do with all the free time?
Because, I'm currently on disability and was told that it could take a year before I can get my surgery. Physically I can't do much, on top of the pain I feel dissy, weak and I have some pretty intense brain fog... I've became so forgetful...
So where you guys able to find new activities? Or hobbies?

Hey guys, I finally managed to make my experience in Stalker 2 somehow bearable.
I run the game on a new PC: RTX 4070 Super Ryzen 7 7800x3d 32 GB RAM
I use DLSS, Low Reflex Latency on, Frame Gen on. I get around 120 FPS consistently. But every time I close the PDA, the game freaks out and lags for like 2 seconds, it's insane.
When not using frame gen, it doesn't happen, but then the game runs at like 50 FPS in Zalissya.
The issue is, 60 FPS seems choppy as hell.
I am super dissappinted, paid 60€ and now have to spend 2 whole afternoons tweaking settings just to get the bloody thing to not be a total disaster mess.

2025.01.29 06:12 Fantastic-Sir8 Audio input and output issues seemingly related to realtek drivers.
I'm using an Alienware Area51m R1 laptop. I noticed recently that the audio coming from my computer didn't seem right. I truly can't say when this problem began. There was wild variation in volume between the highs and lows so much so that I would constantly have to adjust the volume so the highs didn't wake my neighbors and so the lows were even audible. The next thing I discovered was that my headset microphone wasnt even registering audibly. It was being picked up, but the volume test was only registering at 1%.
After looking around I decided to install a different audio driver. I went from the most recent realtek driver that automatically installs on my pc to the "High Definition Audio Device" driver from the list of choices available. I really like how the audio coming from my PC and headphones sounds now. I feel like I was being robbed of basically all of the value with the previous driver, and now my headset mic is actually audible, but now its waaaaay too sensitive. Listening back I can literally hear my mouse dragging on my mousepad.
I'm compelled to believe my headset mic may be partially to blame, but I all around hate whatever is going on with the most recent realtek audio drivers. Are there any known issues regarding this audio driver that may explain the problems I'm experiencing? And what can I do to continue to get the audio quality and functional headset microphone input of the High Definition Audio Device driver but not pick up every single sound in my home with my microphone?
If you need any more info, I'm happy to provide. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to these things.
