I received notice that my role is being eliminated / offshored at the end of the this year (Corporate retail in a multinational company). Given the exit date is several months away, I had gone into the job search with the intent to be selective about roles. However, quickly noticed that the job market is upside down right now— highly competitive, with salary ranges 20-30% lower than my existing salary.
Anecdotally, interviews began to pick up after the new year and I had hope trends were reversing. But the news about federal jobs being eliminated and corporate layoffs increasing is extremely troubling. Should I pivot and secure a role as quickly as possible or continue to be selective given my long runway?

As the title states, I am looking for a tech co-founder.
I want to start a two-sided marketplace business. One side of the marketplace is in high demand, but the challenge will be providing enough value to convince the other side to join. It is not a glamorous problem but it is definitely one that needs solving.
Making the start up work won’t be easy, but from a technical point of view it will be a relatively straight forward. The difficult part is will be in getting the marketplace's fly wheel turning.
My main goal is to gain experience in the startup space and see where it leads. Don't get me wrong, there is potential to make money.
I’m not sure what the best monetization strategy will be, but we’ll figure it out.
I’ve tried being a solo founder before, and it didn’t work out, so now I want to divide and conquer.

Anyone who’s moved internationally, I’d really appreciate your advice.
I’ll be moving from my home country immediately upon graduating from college and want to make sure I have everything planned out to the best of my ability.
I’m making a list of everything I’ll bring with me, getting my passport, only using my credit card which grants good miles to reduce flight cost, upon gaining employment in the country I’m moving to I’ll get my work visa, and I’m actively looking at apartments to see which one works best for me.
What else should I be working on or thinking about? What do you wish you’d done, done differently, or even just thought about when you moved?

I'm currently formatting my 500G SSD for LFS. However I'm not quiet sure about my configuration since I really don't want to fuck up.
I have 32G of RAM and use cfdisk to partition my disk. I have some experience with partitioning since I installed Arch.
Here is my plan:
/boot ext2 1G
/boot/efi fat32 500M
/root ext4 30G
/swap swap 32G
/home ext4 rest of available space
/usr ext4 1G
/opt ext4 10G
/tmp ext4 5G
/ussrc ext4 50G
For my /boot partition I went for 1G instead of 200M like the LFS Handbook recommend because of the Arch wiki. I also decided to use ext2 since the LFS Handbook mentions it.
For my /boot/efi partition I for 500M however I'm not quiet sure about that one. I have read multiple suggestions online which all recommend something different. I also when for fat32 since the BLFS Handbook recommends it.
For my /root partition I went for 30G since that is what the Arch wiki and the LFS Handbook suggest. The LFS Handbook and Arch wiki recommend ext4 so I went with that one.
For my /swap partition I just used the same amount as I have RAM. I know the LFS Handbook suggest twice as much but I don't think this is necessary.
For my /home partition I decided to go for the rest of available space and for ext4 because of the Arch wiki.
For my /usr partition I wasn't able to find any information about the space so I just went for 1G and ext4 since /usr normally is located in /root.
For my /opt partition I went for 10G since this is what the LFS Handbook suggests as well as ext4 since /opt normally is located in /root.
For my /tmp partition I wasn't able to find any information about the space so I just went for 5G and ext4 since /tmp normally is located in /root.
For my /ussrc partition I decided to use 50G of storage because the LFS Handbook suggests this. I also went for ext4 since /ussrc is located in /root.
Is there anything I can improve or should change? What is your opinion on my partition layout? Thanks for the support!

We haven't been able to find a worm anywhere. We used the stone dorkip in the first and second areas on every island, looked at logs and everywhere that the general info seems to point and nothing.
I don't think the drop rate of a worm would be 0.0001% (we dug up 10,000 turf)
Can anyone help? Post a picture if possible of something we're missing?
