2025.01.30 07:00 happy_me_03 I want to try this out..
I am ready to test the law with my whole heart. I have been reading NG for so many months, but let's get it. Please help me out with this. I'm really good at visualisation techniques and imagination. Been reading so many successful stories, so I guess why not try it for myself? I want my love to celebrate Valentine's week with me, and yes, I want to see a big deal coming towards me with lots of money and abundance.
To whoever ever gets the crazy results, please share it with me. I really want to experience the law. I'm open to everything; guide me.

2025.01.30 07:00 myshellyg Men that are grieving the death of their wife, spiritual experience and intimate connections. Insight?
I’d like to seek some advice or insight on how men may experience grief and how they source their support. I (40f) have just recently been contacted by an old friend (40m) from 20 years ago. His wife had passed away suddenly a month ago with a brain aneurism. She was only 35 and they have 2 young children together. I had not seen or spoken to my old friend for many years and we were not connected through social media. Just one week ago he sent me a IG request. I accepted right away and sent him a message of condolence. Since that day we have been mutually messaging one another and sharing in deep conversation. He is a very strong loving man and amazing father. I am honoured to be a support person in his time of grief.. although I am feeling somewhat confused. He has shared that he has thought of me over the years and always thought I was a wonderful person. He brought up how we never did share any intimacy all those years ago. We both came to learn that we see life and death in a similar way and feel a sense of kinship and he thinks we are part of the same soul family. In all honesty I feel I know him on such a deep level and he with me. It’s been a very spiritual experience and feels like the universe conspired this as there have been so many ironic synchronicities surrounding this. I can feel he is drawn to me and I to him. I’m not sure what is happening and this is all very consuming and overwhelming. Is this typical for men to grieve this way so soon after losing their wife? It feels as though we have a mutual attraction I’m not sure how I’m feeling through this and I recognize I may need to be the boundary keeper here. I can imagine he may be experiencing a plethora of emotions.

2025.01.30 07:00 reallinustorvalds There is no 'class war' in the modern era.
The entire concept of a 'class war' generally appeals to the lowest common denominator and is a complete fabrication. It fundamentally makes no sense, the economy is not a zero-sum game. People have this idea that "in order to make $5, I must take $5 from another person". This is just factually incorrect. Transactions can be mutually beneficial, in-fact most are. Value can be created through human invention, ingenuity and production. There isn't a limited amount of value that people are all fighting over.
Most wealthy people are not robber barons. There's no reason to assume that they built their wealth by exploiting other people. In-fact, usually the opposite is true. People who innovate and take calculated risks are rewarded greatly when they succeed, but the rest of society isn't hung out to dry, the value the wealthy person generated lifts the impoverished up as well. This is why the average person's standard of living has increased drastically in the past ~200 years. People today, especially those living in modernized countries, have better access to food, housing, healthcare, education and even small luxuries (air conditioning, vehicles, etc). It's not even remotely comparable to the plight of the average commoner throughout history. Our nutrition levels are better, our life expectancies are longer, the lives of everyday people have drastically improved.
The average rich person is not conspiring against you. Their family will squander and lose all of their wealth within a few generations, much like the Vanderbilts. You can call me a 'bootlicker', idgaf. Get a grip and stop succumbing to propaganda you materialist fools.
At the end of the day, the people who believe in these concepts are sore losers. 'Winners versus losers' is a more accurate description of this 'conflict' than 'rich versus poor' is. We could eradicate all billionaires, and guess what? The losers would then be bent out of shape over the millionaires. Okay, then let's get rid of all the millionaires too! Now the losers are bent out of shape over everyone who owns a home. It goes on and on until we're bludgeoning eachother to death over the bone marrow scavenged from a deer's corpse.
Guess what? Some people are better off than you. Maybe they have better ideas than you, maybe they just got lucky. Get over it.

2025.01.30 07:00 DavidJH316 Rate My Spec List
I’m building an ultra sff build as a secondary PC in addition to my main rig. I’ve been researching and saving up for months and i think i’ve put together a pretty good build
Case: Custom Mod SL3 4.8 L CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x Mobo: MSI MPG B650I Edge RAM: Crucial Pro 32 GB (16x2) 600 MHz CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9-65 GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK OC Edition PSU: HD-Plex 500w GaN ATX Power Supply Storage: 2 M.2 NVMEs that I had lying around (i think it’s 3TB total
Here’s an explanation for the parts picked if you want to know
The build started with the gpu, as the 4060 LP is the fastest gpu to fit in the case, so I didn’t have much choice in picking the gpu. I did. however get it for a great price. It’s normally $350, but I found it at a local computer store discounted for $300, and it was an open box so there was a 10% discount on top of that.
The gpu dictated the cpu I was using, and I felt that the 7600x would pair nicely with the 4060. There was a really good sale for it on amazon ($200). I wanted to get an 8 core cpu, but the prices are way higher, so i decided to stick with a 7600x.
With the mobo, I had really good luck. It was $50 dollars off on msi’s website. I just stumbled upon the deal when trying to find more info on the board. It’s typically $260, but I got it for 210.
The cooler, ram, and psu are pretty self explanatory, the cooler and psu were the best ones that were small enough to fit in the case, and the ram is low profile and right at the sweet spot of AM5 cpus in terms of speed.
I’ve been slowly buying all the parts over the last few months and just scored a couple of good deals. Everything is coming next week, except for the case. that’s going to be a few weeks. my plan is to assemble the system on a test bench and set it all up, then assemble it all in the case when it comes. I hope to add some photos when i finally get the project finished. it won’t be the prettiest, but it’s going to be able to fit in a backpack which is crazy.

2025.01.30 07:00 Mundane_Squirrel_435 I've been working in a tiny café kitchen as work experience and I'm really enjoying it!
This post is basically just a diary entry about me spending some time in a kitchen. I'm seventeen, almost eighteen, and a dropout. I have been invited by Mum's partner (for ease, I'll call him my stepdad) to work alongside him.
Okay! So, I've spent two weekdays in the café so far. Tuesday, according to the staff, was one of the quietest days they've ever had. Possibly a blessing, though, as my stepdad was able to teach me where everything was and show me how to bake scones for the next morning. He used to be a culinary teacher in a university, and he's very VERY good at explaining things. I've never been in a running kitchen before and didn't have much knowledge, but I was able to shut up and get prep done the next morning.
The next day, however, was pretty brutal during lunch even he said so. We had a table of three, four, and seven booked along with a lot of people coming in for lunch on a whim. I'm surprised how easily both him and I managed to get everything out. He's very good at keeping track of exactly how many items of each food we needed, so he could just ask and I'd fetch everything for him. He'd do the main parts of the meals, and I was doing things like plating, garnishing and checking on the toasted sandwiches.
I even had to run some tables. I'm a pretty anxious person, so I only ever did it when there were too many plates for our waiter. I did burn my hand pretty awfully right as we were starting to get overwhelmed, but I still did everything! One of the orders was wrong, and that sandwich such a lovely reward after around two hours of constant tasks.
Thank you very much for reading. I'm sorry if I got any terms wrong or if this type of post isn't allowed. I really did have fun both of these days and I'll likely be going in again on Monday!
