When my turn is over and the AI is moving, I frequently hear an “OOF!” followed by a thud and an object falling to the ground. I always just hear it, I’ve never seen it happen.
Maybe I’m looking away or grabbing my drink? I just always seem to miss what just happened. The screen moves like a flash anyway so it’s hard to catch. Is it a settler getting nailed by an enemy in the darkness, maybe by a Barbarian or something? It sounds like it could be the Settlers staff hitting the ground after the “OOF!” and thud?
I’m just making sure nobody attacked one of my guys 🙂

There’s this contest in my high school, basically there is going to be a Valentine’s Day party and you have to write an anonymous letter to someone from the same high school and you will win two tickets for the most romantic letter. The thing is I don’t know if I should write him because he barely knows about my existence. I had tried before to talk to him and stuff because we went to this public speaking contest and he was there too and he seemed so sweet and the way he said his speech was amazing. I was totally captured by the tone in his voice. It was such a gentle voice and his eyes are just wonderful. He’s a little bit shy but I like it like that. I tried to follow him on Instagram after that and he didn’t follow me back. Either he didn’t see it either he didn’t want to follow me back or talk to me. Back then I wanted just to text him and make sure everything went right while he was saying his speech because he was kind of anxious and for some reason Instagram didn’t let me text him because he hadn’t followed me back.
Do you think I should write him a letter or not?

La verdad ando maso menos metido en esto, ya tengo un trabajo relativamente estable en el gobierno como aux admin y estoy estudiando contabilidad y finanzas en la uvm, actualmente tengo 19 y un pequeño portafolio de 13k y otros 13k en renta fija repartidos en alguna sofipos y tmbn en sociedades como la smg y hace poco ya empezaron a pagarme y aunque la paga no es tan buena como pensarias que es para un puesto de gob, es mejor que nada pero aqui viene mi duda. ¿ Que dirian que haga a continuacion? Porque me llama mucho el mercado bursatil pero aun no ando al 100% con la carrera y el trabajo consume bastante, ademas de que quisiera trabajar de consultor o en alguna firma/banco grande, lo que me causaria perder mi estabilidad actual aunque ganaria mejor. ¿Que opinan?

2025.01.30 08:40 djlasseman How do you justify failing PoE1 for an early access game?
Just watched the announcement and all the talk about how they couldn't let PoE2 players down, with a game in such a bad state, crashes and poorly balanced enemies and so on.
Like, really? It's early access. You get a sneak preview of what is to come. Why do you abandon the game you've been working on and improving upon for 10+ years, and is still successful?
If it had been the full release I would understand, still not great since you didn't deliver on your promise to keep PoE1 and PoE2 dev teams separate.
If your long term intention is to abandon PoE1 for PoE2 then please come out and say so. Rip the bandaid off. So far your communication is that the games should run in parallel, but is that really the case? Considering your actions, I don't believe so.
