I downloaded a couple of epub files from Project Gutenberg and used the send to kindle feature in the iOS app. I did the thing where you click share on the file, select kindle, then upload.
My first book Beowulf is in my kindle app and also shows up on my kindle.
But my second book War and Peace, only shows up in my app, but not on my kindle?
I have done a sync on both devices and still no fix?
I have a kindle paperlight gen 6 2013

After a few months of tedious work, I got myself in the Apple ecosystem last summer, bought an IPhone 16 pro and an IPad. Now, I am looking forward to buying the Apple Watch series 10. With the Milanese band it’s fashion (I really don’t like the look of most fitness trackers) it’s professional, it has many fitness features, I love it.
My husband however thinks that since I don’t work in tech, media etc, I don’t need such advanced tech and I could get off with wearing a Fitbit (not as fashionable though :)). Now, I did a little bit of research and any other fitness/smart watches that look kinda feminine are also in the 300-350€ range (Garmin).
So, is it worth it paying 150€ more? Women of Reddit, do you love your AW? Is it too big/frumpy? Any regrets?

My family (32m, 30f, and 2 toddlers) are expected to make the move from Israel to the US im the Summer.
I work in the hitech/startup scene (a Customer Success Manager). Due to some preliminary research we shortlisted several cities and now narrowed down to 4 (no specific order) : Salt Lake City Denver Minneapolis Raleigh/Durham
Id love to hear your thoughts on the following: -Job market -Affordability (we will be renting, most likely 3 bed/2+ bath) -Transportation (how easy can we move around whether public transport or traffic) -Child friendly (quality/cost of daycare + in general activities and parks) -Socially (how friendly are the people, especially to Internationals)

On leopardsatemyface even a lot of MAGA are already upset about the federal grant funding pause, lots of 'I didn't vote for this" - so I expect even more as their cost of living increases expotentially due to the tarrifs and the economy & stock market begin to collapse further.
Plus Trump doesn't understand how the US goverment works (nor do a lot of americans) so he might this it's an actual possibiility for blue states to temporarily secede and join another country and shut the fuck up "51st state" and annexings/invading us.
Make is sound so low stake to the states involved, to get democrats calling their reps asking for their state to join Canada as a "temproary Canadian territory for X amount of days to avoid statewide economic impact from EOs made by a man who does not represent their constituents votes"
We can also claim it's the only way to support all the asylum requests coming from said states, since we cannot physically take Americans asylum seekers into Canada.
California and Virginia, which harris won with substantial margins also house the majority of the US armed forces, perhaps as that the only catch to the deal is a signed committment to protect Canadian soveirgnty.
This is partially a shit-post to cope with the state of north america right now, not a genuine pitch, so don't be mean pls, but as a thought experiment... thoughts?
