So im a new cat owner. literal na first time ko mag alaga ng cat. for now, kasama pa namin sya sa kwarto kasi may 2 dogs kami naghahabulan sila. worry namin is nasstress ang cat and baka makalmot ang dogs.
anyways, ngayon nagcocomplain kasi ang husband ko sa buhok ni muning. paano kaya namin malessen yung buhok buhok sa room? nabasa ko kasi sa reddit na masasanay na lang din hahaha as a long time dog owners, alam na alam namin to. pero yung husband ko kasi hindi super petlover pero gusto ko gawan ng paraan para sa kwarto pa din ang cat namin.
as of now weekly ako nagcchange ng sheets, nagvvacuum, sinusuklayan si cat.

2025.01.30 07:53 Nrvea Thoughts on lightsaber forms?

I've always thought lightsaber forms were strange retcon that everyone just unquestioningly accepted.
From the OT it always seemed to be that lightsaber combat was guided purely by the Force. The first thing we see Obi Wan teach Luke is to allow the force to guide his motions with a lightsaber. It also doesnt seem to be the case that Yoda trained Luke in lightsaber combat, he seemed more focused on teaching him how to be in tune with his emotions and the Force.
Obviously the expanded universe media that came after this retcon and acknowledged integrated it into their stories but that's just how retcons work. My point is that it doesn't seem to fit well with the PT and OT.
I would bet my middle testicle that George wasn't thinking about Vaapad when he was writing Mace vs Sidious. Mace beat Sidious because he's stronger or Sidious threw the fight to push Anakin down the dark side.
I personally prefer the idea that the Force guides most of the actions within a lightsaber duel, purely because lightsaber duels in the films and most star wars media more represent a spiritual battle of ideals rather than the actual physical battle taking place.

I encountered an unusual issue today while debugging my project with ChatGPT. Despite having Pro Mode, I was repeatedly prompted with “Continue?” around lines 500-600 of my ~900-line code—something I haven’t seen since using GPT-4o or smaller models. After clicking “Continue,” the chat would simply time out. OpenAI support acknowledged the issue and claimed it was resolved, but the problem persisted.
Frustrated, I tested the same request with Deepseek AI, and surprisingly, the exact same behavior occurred. Around lines 500-600, I received the same “Continue?” prompt, followed by a timeout and a “Server busy” message. Multiple attempts yielded the same result.
Given Deepseek’s notably low training costs, this raises questions about potential underlying connections between the two models. While it could be a coincidence, the identical failure patterns are unusual. Curious to hear others’ thoughts—does this suggest a shared infrastructure or something else?

One symptom I have had for a while is the appearance of eye floaters, which I had never had, and then all of a sudden a lot of them. Is this a common symtpom? I was recently reading the Isla Vista Mass Murder Investigative Report, and I realized that rereading this report has allowed for me to see it in a different view, this, of course, has left me curious. Among multiple questions I have (which I will make posts about later), I wondered, what would have happened to Elliot Rodger had he not taken his life?
He was shot at by multiple Sherriff's Deputies who had began to pursue him after he attempted to shoot a woman (who he had said "Hey, what's up?" to before brandishing his gun and attempting to shoot her before narrowly missing) but he was shot in the thigh, leaving a grazing gunshot wound, which the Medical Examiner who performed his autopsy said caused epidermal injuries only. It was obvious that they (the Sheriffs) assumed he was alive, as they cuffed him only to see his blood-soaked head (kind of confused how they wouldn't see his massive gunshot wound???). So, it seems that they would have taken him into custody, so, that raises the question, what if Elliot Rodger hadn't committed suicide? How many life sentences would he be given?
I say life sentences, because I find it very unlikely he would have been put to death. California's history with capital punishment is a complicated one (that I struggle to understand), though in 2006 there was a de-facto mortarium, 2006 was also the last year someone was executed in the state. Though 2 others condemned in California were executed in other states. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Second-Degree discusses pre-meditation, which is what differentiates the two felonies, the Day of Retribution was entirely pre-mediatated, so my idea was each killing that took place, though not identical to his ideal plan, was pre-meditated. He left his apartment with the intent to kill sexually active men and women and women who rejected him. Are any experts able to help out with this?

I do not know what these multiple lesser offenses are, are they traffic related? Pertaining to his driving on the incorrect side of the road? 2025.01.30 07:53 vanderaj Cycle 13 - let's talk ganking and PowerPlay 2.0

We had a great week reinforcing systems we liked, giving up systems we didn't, and generally doing a fair bit of diplomacy. Some folks don't like diplomacy and the compromises you have to make. In the new decentralized era of PowerPlay 2.0, you'd be a fool not to organize at least some sort of understanding with your allies and frenemies; all powers have to reinforce, acquire, and undermine AND do diplomacy, and for that, you need a bit of organization. Individual Cmdrs in the new PP 2.0 era just don't have the impact of a major group of players working towards the same objectives. Diplomacy can make wars very short, systems suddenly easy to manage, and give folks who want a bit more PvP more of that instead of doing stuff they don't find fun.
So with all that said, we had an interesting set of visitors from the GANC squadron, including UncleSam, a notorious explorer killer, who had pledged with his squadron to a particular power. We had to decide on our values, and we decided against ganking. Now we've probably made some interesting enemies, but I thank the Grom team over at TEOL for taking the lead on this and banning these folks from their server before we came to the same decision. Being decentralized, there's little we can do if the GANC squadron decides to make our lives miserable, but it helps us immeasurably to know that other nearby player groups have our back in this matter.
Every week we are pleasantly surprised by the system we acquire. Powers need to work with their local PMFs to understand if they want to be acquired, and honestly, PMFs need to understand the end state of PowerPlay 2.0 - all systems will be occupied, it's just a matter of whom. Then the fight becomes who owns the best systems, who has the most stable frontlines, etc. We are in the ancient era of Civilization VI where borders are very fluid, everyone has a few cities and castles, and everyone is acquiring everything in sight, and building systems that will either help or hinder them whilst we still all learn the game's strategies. The best laid plans never survive first contact with the enemy, and nothing is truer than in PowerPlay 2.0.
So my message for fiercely independent role playing PMFs is ... I'm sorry, but that's not how the game now works. You can put it off for a while, but eventually, you must pick a side, any side, and go for it. PP 2.0 is in the nascent stages at the moment, it's better to be inside the tent, shaping your future with future friends and enemies, than stay outside of the tent and letting whatever happen to you, happen to you. If you're independent, you want to shape your future, not react to it. You'll actually do less work in the long run. This advice is good for at least three PMFs in our area this week, and it'll be good advice for all PMFs in all current and future power play territory.
We have a fair idea of what we acquired, lost, and reinforced, but we can't be sure until the game gets going again. I wish the game had better internal tools to help those who don't want to use external tooling. It should be possible to see the systems you own by acquisition date and filter by system fortification state (unoccupied, expansion, exploited, fortified, etc).. It should be possible to see the control point margin between where they are now - without using the main menu bug/cheese - and the next state up and sort by that. Like all powers, we are doing spreadsheets with the best of them, but if we don't have in game tools, we need journal entries and we need them now.
