I (38F) recently started working from home part-time while my husband (42M) has been fully remote for three years. With extra time in the mornings, I’ve taken to tidying our shared office, organizing papers, dusting his desk, refilling his coffee station, and even setting up a whiteboard for his schedule. He’s never asked me to do this, but he seems to appreciate it. However, one of his friends (mid-40s M) recently commented that I’m “babying” my husband and “taking away his independence,” saying a man should manage his own space. My husband has only expressed gratitude, but now I’m second-guessing myself. Am I being too controlling, or is his friend just projecting? Should I stop, or is this just an outsider’s weird take? (Edit: My husband has ADHD, so I thought structure might help.)

my cat Millie has been pooping in two specific places (and possibly peeing?). Ive had her and her sister for around 5 years and shes around 8 years old. In 2022 i got another cat and she had no problem with him. In november i took in two strays and all of them adjusted fine again, but these last two weeks shes been pooping right near my moms door. my mom barely visits my house and has basically moved out so im wondering if its because of that? ive found puddles of pee right next to the door of her old room and in the entryway on each side there is poop. Is there anyway i can help her?

Hi all,
Not sure if anyone can help me. I recently bought a 2019 M140i. It has the basic 6.5inch display running ID 6. It has the EntryNavEvo version. Anyone know any way to check if I have the WiFi Antenna Port without taking the head unit out?
I want to upgrade the screen to the 8.8inch Nav Pro, so that I can get CarPlay. My issue is finding out which screens are compatible with my car. Ideally, I would like to go with OEM parts. Has anyone else done this upgrade?

 | These are more of sentimental value than anything. My mom’s grandma (my great grandma) got these for these for her when she was a young teen (my mom will be 70 this year). She tells me they’re not good quality but the stone is supposed to be topaz and she believes the gold is real. I cannot find any hallmarks anywhere on them. If it’s useful my family is from Ecuador, so I’m pretty sure they came from there. But my mom got to the US when she was 13 so I’m not 100% sure where they come from. In this fictional movie within the show, the President of the United States asks special agent Michael Scarn to defeat Goldenface and defuse the bomb before it's too late, especially since that stadium is a part of his retirement. Later on, it's revealed that the President was always going to have the place bombed, for the insurance money. So that leaves one question: Why have Scarn on the case? Surely, it would've been more simple to just stay silent, let Goldenface do his awful crimes, and the place would've blown up without any interference.
Note: Obviously in-universe of the show, the plotholes and craziness are all part of the joke, but this is about the logic in-universe of the movie's narrative.

Ecco, sono stufo. Sono stufo di questa banalità.

Hi. I own Chevy Impala 67. And I live in Europe. Here people get crazy about electric cars and bans for ICE since 2030/2035. I wonder what kind of fuel will be available in the future, so we can sleep in peace that we will struggle with it on longer distance trips.
I dont mind to convert, but I am strictly refusing to convert my car into EV. I know that liquid hydrogen is in development but this fuel has issues like, vanishing once car stay.

As I said in my previous post, I’ve had an addiction to codeine for years. My mum found out about it Sunday. Now, she still doesn’t know the extent of it but she knows I’m withdrawing now. I visited my GP yesterday for my anxiety. I planned on opening about my addiction then but ended up leaving in tears instead because I failed to do so. This morning, I woke up and cried to my mum and finally told her that I feel so bad because I’m withdrawing from painkillers. I cried so much because I feel so bad and I begged her to phone the doctor so I can go back today and finally get some help. All she wants to do is help me too. I go in a few hours and this time, I’m going to get help. I’m hoping that they’ll do something to help me right away, to help with the withdrawals because it’s making me suicidal. I’m not sure what to expect but after years of struggling with addiction, I’m finally going to get help today.
