2025.01.30 15:15 HuumanScientist ACCA Annual Subscription Fee after becoming member
I had the annual subscription fee due in my account before the Jan results. It was my qualifying attempt and I got an email saying I’ve become a member last week. My students portal is now non accessible and I’ve access to the members portal now on which the annual subscription fee which was due is not being reflected. Only the invoice of £311 for membership admission fee is due.
Did anyone else face the same? I’m only concerned about it because I don’t want them removing me from the register because I didn’t pay the annual subscription fee (which was already due) and it’s my understanding that you’ve to pay it to get your certificate along with with membership admission fee.

I'm walking 3 hours a day on my walking pad doing 18km per day.
I do it between 9am and 2pm daily when I'm usually stuck in meetings.
Anyone else consistently do this volume of walking? How has your walking pad held up? Any concerns I should be aware of?

 | I’ve been lazy taking down my 12ft skeleton after the holidays (decorated it for Christmas but unfortunately I’m not one who wants to or would be able to keep up decorating it every month for whatever). I was planning to this weekend but then got this anonymous ridiculous letter from a neighbor and now may keep it up forever. Bear in mind there are several houses in the area that have crap in their yards, on their porch, other such “blights”. Trying to think of some method of retaliation but so far I got nothing. I've always been tangentially interested in home networking. I'll be looking at something tech related and it's been in the back of my mind to set up a more robust network. Finally bought a house and can start doing bigger scale things to make it fit to my needs, but I feel very lost. I just read the FAQ pinned at the top of this sub and didn't understand over half of it. I need something more tailored to complete beginners like myself.
What I've always assumed about a home network is that it's a system to provide internet access throughout your home and could also provide local needs such as storage or gadget management, etc. I also have a small interest in setting up a server, although I'm completely ignorant of how that would work or how useful it would be for me as well. I play a lot of games and I'm familiar with home servers insofar as I know they can be used to host gaming servers (my mother has one for her Ultima Online shard), but as I understand it they could be useful for things like media storage and playback, file management, etc.
Can anyone point me in the direction I need to start? I feel like I don't have a basic level understanding to find many of the posts or resources of this sub useful. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you! :D

I started 2 weeks ago a channel on my normal account(its 5y old), i do narration of popular videos (i know its not the most original)
every hour or so I get 3-4 views from YouTube search, but not from the shorts feed, i would say the views come around 90% from search and the rest its a mix between shorts feed and others.
most of my videos get about 4-10 views, there was 1 video yt tried to push with 300 in the shorts feed, but it flatlined quickly after that,
In the Title i use #shorts hashtag and add 3 more to my description, tags too.
Anyone else had the same experience?

One of the biggest hydrances of this PD is that I never experienced falling in love with someone.
As many of you, I also have a rich inner world. I did felt something similar (I guess?) for my characters, some habitants of my inner world but that's it.
I do feel salty about this. I wish I had feeling these feelings when I was younger or even now. The very few times I was with someone it was purely for masking purposes (attempts to fit in). I DID try to be a good companion and I did try do fall in love with them, I tried my best. It all ended the same: I couldn't stomach. Even hearing their voice made me feel bad, sometimes I ended up nurturing a disgust of them, and eventually left.
Despite everything, I really wanted to experience this at least ONCE in my life, man. How do you guys deal with it?
