So, I'm currently a 4th year studying in Cuba (we have 6 years) and I'm pretty sure I want to sit the step 1 next year and then step 2 in my final year, however I'm pretty sure that I would only apply to match after my internship in my home country so that would be 2029 most likely, I'm just confused as to how that would correlate with the ECFMG certification and if it's needed to sit step 1 and 2 and are there any consequences to having that 1-2 year gap between sitting step 2 and applying for match?

What would you do? I, 24F, have been dating a 30M for a couple months now. As we got to know each other, he said he needed to tell me about his past if we were going to start dating so there wouldn’t be any secrets. He said he has a baby momma in Mexico, and left her because she was aggressive towards their daughter. He then said he’s been in the US for 3 years and the reason he came was to escape his abusive wife. Within a month into the relationship, the overthinking started to get at me and I realized I never asked him if he was still married, so I asked and he looked confused. He said I misunderstood the story: Apparently he has a daughter with his baby momma, (who he still talks to and supports financially), and THEN he met someone else who he got married to (no kids & never got a divorce because he came to the US). I was shocked, confused and upset because I’m basically competing with two women from his past, not one like I thought, and I’m technically a mistress. I asked him why he hasn’t gotten a divorce and he said he never had a reason to since he’s on this side, but says it’s different now because he met me and said he would do it to do things right. Days passed and he said he spoke with his wife and she agreed with the divorce. According to him, he sent $600 so she can start the process and she told him a letter would arrive at his house in MX, so he can sign and send it back to the attorney. Two months passed and I asked him how the process is going and he said his mom hasn’t told him he received that letter yet. I got upset and told him either his wife kept the money and lied about agreeing to get a divorce or he’s the one not wanting to get one. He said he never thought of the possibility that she could be lying (but who can be that dumb right?) I told him he needs proof that there is a case open and show me. Yesterday I brought it up again and he said he hasn’t asked her for proof in case she needs more money, but like, you don’t need to send her money just for her to send the proof?
It’s all so sketchy but if he wanted to keep his past a lie, he would’ve never told me right? So I sort of trust him but everything seems off. But, when I tell y’all that he is one of the most romantic, sweetest, honest and understanding man I have ever met, believe me. So, what would you do in my situation? Also, he gave me a promise ring 3 weeks ago because he says he really wants to marry me …

Recently, I was tuning into an old debate with Cosmic Skeptic and Michael Jones and despite being a Christian I must say Alex made a lot of great points. His point about the environment influencing our decisions before we even get to utter our first words and the constant stream of decisions that we make that then influences other choices that we make, makes it hard for some people to accept Christianity, while also making it easier for some to accept Christianity. This way of thinking makes the idea of free will seem like a scam and introduces the idea that one simply rejecting and accepting a certain religion was already pre-determined to happen and that a simple yes or no is determined by the thousands if not millions of decisions that you made or was made for you before making that choice. If that's the case then how do Christians deal with the fact that the very fact that they accepted Christianity was already set In stone, while the reverse is true too that some people have also been pre-disposed to reject Christianity?

hello everybody- i just need to vent after finding out a series of disappointing news.
my line is ggf-gm-m-me. my ggm is also italian. my grandmother was a minor when my g-grandfather naturalized, and i was almost certain after searching on ancestry.com that my g-grandmother never naturalized, giving my a pretty straightforward 1948 case. i contacted IDC with all my lineage info, feeling fairly confident my family and i can move forward.
turns out after some more research, my grandmother was not only naturalized, but she naturalized autonomously 🙃 there was nothing on ancenstry.com saying she naturalized until i looked at some census papers. after a little more digging, i found her petition.
to say i’m disappointed is an understatement. i’m literally cut from both lines.
i’m feeling a lot of extremely irrational feelings, including being resentful toward my great-grandparents (yes, i know this is ludicrous, it’ll pass), but i know this pales in comparison to most of you who already invested thousands of dollars and had the rug pulled under you :(
i’m still waiting to hear back from IDC to hear what they have to say. i mean, i don’t really know what else they can say other than my only path is through courts, which i know is risky. then again, IDC/ICA does talk a big game saying most of the courts are still accepting minor issues cases (🙄 if thats the case, they shouldn’t mind backing it up with a money-back guarantee. i’ll keep you all updated with what they say).
anyway, thanks for reading this. this is mostly a solidarity post. i’m not looking for advice, i know my outlook is dismal 😆 if anyone knows of a class-action lawsuit or anyway to combat this, let me know i’ll gladly drop the dollars to fight this. hopefully things will change… all we can do it hope.

Howdy all! My GF (F28) and I (M33) are traveling to Punta Cana in April 2025. I’ve seemingly watched every video (Coolist included) and read countless reviews. We are stuck between Breathless and RIU Palace Macao. We are both outgoing and would enjoy a lively and similarly aged crowd. That being said, of the 5 days we will be there, we want at least half to be relaxing.
Things that we are looking for: Great beach, fun crowd, options to relax and party, quality service and dining.
What we’ve read/viewed:
Breathless - late 30s to 60s, poor service, annoying beach salespeople, decent food/drink with option to go next door (dreams), awesome looking main pool, fun looking party pool, beach is less stunning due to Uvero Alto region
RIU Macao: incredible beach, small pools, more mature crowd, better food, access to RIU Parties, better service.
TL;DR Looking for party AND relax quality resort for a 30ish aged crowd. Would love to your experience with Breathless or RIU Macao, and which you prefer. Thank you!

About a month ago, I had a dental scare because I bit a fork and I went to the dentist for a radio and it was fine. The pain eventually went away. Today, I eat cashew nuts and I accidentally use the tooth that was sprained. It now hurts again. I'm scared. I see my dentist for a cleaning next week.

As the title says, i have this iron farm and it breaks no matter what i do. It only works for 5-10 mins and then it brokes again, villagers are afraid but theres no iron golem.

so im d2 and I know how to flip reset sometimes as I use both air roll left and right, but ive found a way to do resets using air roll left then using air roll right and getting a reset but its very inconsistent, can someone that is gc tell me if I should only use air roll left while getting a reset? i’ve struggled to do this with only air roll left on thr left wall. ty
