Kamala Harris campaigned on giving first time home owners a boost to buy their home, helping small businesses, and lowering grocery prices. These were the MAIN points of her campaign that she drove home in every speech. All of these things are focused on the helping the working and middle class.
All of you that allow Republicans to act as full on fascists but don't give Democrats any grace, claiming that both parties are ultimately the same, you're the problem. You're the reason the country is imploding right now, and I hate you.

Ok I'm writing this with taking the risk of being downwoted to oblivion but I really want the opinions of a larger group of Germans because I can't wrap my head around this. I am genuinely writing in good faith but if karma is the price to pay, so be it.
We all carry heavy hearts because of horrific events happened recently in Germany and I've been paying attention to the developments with the changes to the asylum law. Especially as a new mother, with my very German baby (don't question her love for a good Brötchen!), I want the best for her and a great future in this wonderful country.
I am by no means a socially or politically conservative person. Probably many of my views align better with a center left world view. But following German politics, I am growing increasingly wary of the taboo culture here, especially in the center-left parties. I get how some things are taboo here due to its past, but come on guys, it is clear that there is something wrong with the asylum system. How can it possibly be that someone with 3 times violent record with demonstrable violent mental instability wasn't detained or deported by now? Both legislation and administration have several roles here I am sure, but the elephant in the room is that there is something wrong! And all I see is the mainstream media drilling into us that such events are one-in-a-lifetime tragedy that isn't worth changing much over, because otherwise we'll give in to the rhetoric of the AfD. Well, if you want to take over the rhetoric into the reasonable and humane space, why not talk (and importantly, act) about it as mainstream parties? Like, am I crazy you guys? By the act of not acting upon the wronghoods of the system because it is the hot topic of a horrible party, you're effectively surrendering this issue into their hands and ensure that nothing gets better. I read the outlines of the CDU proposal and they're explicitly denouncing the worldview of AfD, they have a reasonable set of rules they want to enforce and here we are, not hearing much about the content of their proposal, what this might change in Germany, but that it got AfD support. No one mentions that CDU managed to obtain tangible action, they passed a reasonable set of rules and they are trying to shift the rhetoric into the mainstream space without the extreme repatriatization nonsense. I never thought I'd say this but I for one, think CDU tried to do a great thing for this country and by the looks of it, they will pay the price for it.
Seriously, maybe I'm totally off and I am looking at this the wrong angle. If you think so, let me know why.

Ugh. What a night, Lou. I'm honestly a bit afraid to leave without giving some sort of notice, but the thought of stepping foot in that place ever again makes me wanna hurl. Yeah, yeah, I'll take a beer, and line me up a shot of Tullamore, please. Damn, man, you think you've had bad jobs? Listen to THIS shit:
I don't even know how I found the place. You know I've been out of work since COVID hit, and things were getting pretty lean. I mean, there's only so many meals of rice and canned beans a guy's gonna eat in front of the TV before he gets a bit stir crazy, right? So I hopped in my old rust bucket beater truck and went for a drive to clear my head.
I'd been driving around for about an hour, just kinda wandering wherever the roads took me. I ended up out in the sticks somehow, rolling down a dirt road with no name and no idea where I was or how I got there. I'm just on the verge fo turning around and tryin' to find my way back when I see a light in the distance. "Ah, great!" I think to myself, "I'll stop in there and ask directions."
The first thing I see when I walk in is a big help wanted sign. At least, that's what it ended up being because it was the weirdest way of advertising a job opening I've ever seen: In all things there must be Balance. Balance between the abstract and the real. You stand in the doorway between what is and what could be. Do you dare to step through? Apply within.
I have to admit it intrigued me a bit, but I was there for some directions and possibly a drink, not to join some sort of doomsday cult. I go up to the bar and this absolute SMOKESHOW of a woman walks out the back room. She musta been at least seven feet tall, absolutely stacked, muscles out to here! And you know how much I dig muscle-babes, Lou, always have and always will. Anyway, I'm gawkin', and she's staring at me for like a real hard minute. I coulda sworn I heard some sort of weird humming and clicking sounds coming from her eyes, but it mighta been the wobbly ceiling fan.
Then, she talked, and I'd be lyin' if I ever heard a voice like hers come from a woman. It was...flat. Like if a warm soda suddenly found the ability to speak. I'll never forget it: "IDENTITY CONFIRMED VIA FACIAL SCAN ALGORITHM. ANALYSIS COMPLETE. SUBJECT A IS LINCOLN HOOPER, JOB SEEKER. WOULD YOU LIKE AN APPLICATION, LINCOLN?"
I told her...it...whatever they were that they could just call me Link, and what I really wanted was a drink.
"NEGATIVE."
Well, what do you mean negative? I've got a few bucks, enough for a cheap well whisky, line it up!
"NEGATIVE. OWNER JANUS HAS ACCEPTED YOUR APPLICATION. CONSUMPTION OF HYDROXYL FUNCTIONAL GROUPS BOUND TO SATURATED CARBON ATOMS CAUSES IMPAIRMENT AND IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED WHILE COMPENSATION ACCRUAL IS ACTIVE."

Já tive uma moto uns bons anos atrás, uma Fan125, mas sofri um acidente e fiquei sem moto até hoje , e não peguei muita prática na época. Pretendo adquirir outra futuramente , e as opções que quero são: Twister 300, Fazer 250 ou uma Titan 160.
A questão é, quais dessas opções é a melhor pra pegar prática pra quem tem pouca experiência e que seja econômica. Seria pra rodar uns 20km de segunda a sexta no máximo, e pra passeio aos fins de semana, em estrada de terra e asfalto . Minha pretensão até aqui, seria gastar no máximo 20k em uma.
