2025.01.30 15:01 cosmoph UI/UX Designer for 5 years and now wanting to move to Product Design
Hey there! I just want to hear everyone's thoughts here on my next move.
I will try to be as short and straight to the point as possible.
I'm a UI/UX Designer for 5 years now and in my experience, and I noticed that sometimes I struggle with solving UX problems or giving out UX solutions. I can do UI Designs properly and effectively thought.
But sometimes my struggle is that it takes me a while to complete and optimize UX problem tasks that are sent to me (probably time constraints as well? As timelines are short for the most part). But for the company, this is not an issue. Just a self-induced issue lol.
Now I want to move to Product Designing (mainly focusing on webapps) that is more UX-focused and with Data Visualization skillset in the near future. But I want to know, what I need to achieve this properly while fixing my UX problem solving issues? Especially now that AI is revolutionizing things (and I will surely integrate it)
I can always try to learn programming naman but aim ko kasi now tlga is product design. Since un ung logical move para saken and to be honest, I'm choosing that as my next path.

The amount of things that came together to bring the spotlight back on this series is insane. I wonder if this was planned or just a pure stroke of luck.
I don't remember this obsession with challenging single-player games being a thing when the OG games were released. Back then, if you were a "serious gamer," you played Halo or CoD online to show your skills.
That's what I remember when the very first NG was released. I played NG for a while, then Halo 2 dropped, and then Halo was ALL I played.
Now, trying and failing a boss 1,000 times is standard practice.
Plus, NG is the complete opposite of so many contemporary games.
Every game is stupidly long. And has an insane amount of collectables. And 25-minute cutscenes. And is trying desperately to copy the Souls formula (which I love, for the record).
All I know is, coming from a game like FF7 Rebirth that I poured 250 hours into and haven't even finished yet, Ninja Gaiden is a freaking breath of fresh air.
I've been contemplating what to play next for what feels like weeks already. Because everything is just SO DAMN LONG.
Then boom. NG 2 Black drops. Problem solved.
Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?

Meine Freundin hat sich doch mal entschieden mit 26 den Führerschein zu machen, ich bin 31 und habe schon mit 16 1/2 begonnen, somit liegt meine Erfahrung weit in der Vergangenheit. Sie hatte nun ihre ersten paar Fahrstunden und ich habe natürlich immer mal wieder gefragt wie es lief, sie ist wohl kein Naturtalent und etwas übervorsichtig aber okay, ist ja noch kein Meister vom Himmel gefallen. Nun hat sie mir allerdings letzte Woche erzählt, dass sie nun schon ihre 10. Stunde hatte, jedoch noch keine einzige davon als Pflichtstunde gewertet wurde. Ich bin etwas skeptisch an der Seriösität der Fahrschule. Wurden denn die Regelungen irgendwie verschärft in den letzten 15 Jahren? Ich finde es schon sehr unkulant, da 10 Stunden zu fahren und nichts davon „zählen“ zu lassen. Irgendwo müssen sie ja gefahren sein, ob Stadt oder Überlandfahrt, irgendwas kann man da doch abhaken? Oder gibt es hier klare Regeln und Vorgaben, was in einer solchen Pflichtstunde explizit vorkommen/passieren muss, sodass diese „gilt“? Über Erfahrungen und Meinungen wäre ich sehr froh 😊
