This is not new but I’m new to the scene. I tells ya drying filament solves a lot of problems. I had a Bambu wood filament in a plastic bag but no desiccant. It printed the benchy fine. But a larger print I had issues with adhesion and some lumps. Dried it overnight for 8 hours and son of a gun, print is solid now. I can’t overstate how much this seems to matter.

2025.01.30 18:10 THH77 My halo bolt was stolen in Uniondale this morning 1/30
I parked in front of the Uniondale 7/11 on Oak Street to run in and grab a coffee on my way to work around 9:30 this morning. Low tire pressure light was on so I decided to use my Halo Bolt while I ran in the store. I was in 7/11 for no more than 5 minutes and walk out to my Halo Bolt stolen. It's a longshot but if anyone saw someone steal it off my car, please message me. Thank you. Unfortunately I would have been parked out of sight of any 7/11 cameras, but I was on Oak Street.

2025.01.30 18:10 Physco-Kinetic-Grill [Spoilers C3E120] Not following the rules
Throughout Campaign 3 the players have somehow gotten a lot worse with rules, which I’d expect them to get more familiar after 10 years, whatever.
I’m watching this episode currently but at 46:00 flat we see Liam end his turn on Predathos’ head. It uses an attack to devour Orym, and succeeds. Matt narrates that it’s mouth is clear of Orym after it eats him. At the end of the attack, Liam says “I appear next to Chetney. I still have my bonus action, I use misty step.”
No one questions it and Matt doesn’t register it at all. He shouldn’t have been able to see Chetney from the throat or stomach of Predathos, and it wasn’t his turn. The issue here is that this would’ve been majorly consequential to the combat if he remained inside.
This caught my attention, and ngl if Matt intentionally let it go (he probably just didn’t clock it), I’m gonna be checked out for the next 3 hours of this finale.

Hello all. I ordered Tris Acetate for my lab from RPI (it was the most affordable I could find at the time). I’m having some minor confusion. The formula given both on the container and on the company’s site is C14H11NO3C2H4O2. Everywhere I have looked for the formula for tris acetate, as well as on other bottles from other companies, lists the formula as C4H11NO3C2H4O2 - the exact same, but with 4 carbons in the tris molecule instead of 14. The molecular weight they have given matches everything I have seen online and on other bottles of the compound from other companies - 181.19. But if the compound had 14+2 carbons its molecular mass should be over 300 g/mol instead, right? My assumption is that this must be a typo - but is there something I am misunderstanding about the structure that could lead to the inclusion of 10 extra carbons? I am surprised a company would brazenly put this typo on their website if it is one. I want to make sure that this is in fact Tris Acetate as it says on the jar!
TL;DR - Tris acetate bottle says C14H11NO3C2H4O2, but listed MW of 181.19 g/mol doesn’t reflect this and I’m pretty sure tris acetate is C4H11NO3C2H4O2 - who’s wrong, me or bottle?

2025.01.30 18:10 unknownobject3 Good mods for tough enemies and powerful armor
Hi all, I've recently started playing modded Minecraft to spice things up a bit, and everything was going fine until I realized that one of the mods I had installed, MCDoom, was not working properly. I already noticed this when I installed all my mods, but didn't think too much of it.
Some weapons don't work properly, some not at all, many enemies don't attack me and most importantly they don't drop anything, which is a problem because that means I can't make the armors that MCDoom provides. I decided that I'm going to remove the mod, however, I can't find a good substitute.
I also want a mod that adds very tough enemies. I installed the Mutant Mobs and Grimoire of Gaia 4 mods, but I also have Vic's Point Blank with the DOOM weapons add-on, and the guns are so powerful that they make the enemies look like an absolute joke, even with enemies from other mods.
TL;DR: I would like some mods that add powerful armor and tough enemies because I'm not satisfied with the ones I have right now. Thank you in advance.

I am a student out of Missouri about to graduate with a degree in Geospatial Science. I am looking for a surveyor or survey data position that will take me out West or to a mountainous region.
I have had two internships, one as a surveyor and the other as a GIS technician for a regional planning firm. I am also on the last year of a contract with the Army Reserves; however, I should still be able to relocate.
I grew up in the outdoors, am competent and can assimilate myself into any work environment that is required.

Soo, this is not that serious of a problem, but a problem nevertheless. We love to sing, but our voice changes depending on who's fronting, and I feel it's even more obvious when we're singing. I'd like us to have a consistent sound, but everyone likes singing their own way.
We're in a singing app, and I guess sometimes it's fun to surprise people with the different voices ("wow, I didn't know you could go that low!" or people mistaking us for an actual child), but it also makes switches so much obvious unless we pretend I'm just "putting on" a voice. And obviously most people there have no idea we're plural, so idk what they think of my voice being kinda all over the place.
Especially our little one is really self-conscious of this, but she also loves to sing and perform. Her speaking voice is also really childish and she's by far the worst of us at masking. The other day she got really upset because she wasn't able to mask in front of a nurse even though the nurse knows we have OSDD.
idk, anyone have similar experiences? How do you handle (or not handle) the changes in voice?

2025.01.30 18:10 Lazy-Needleworker183 What do I do - I feel like a mom fail.
16m old really struggling with nap time.. and I mean struggling, big time. Currently - right now she is sleeping. She fell asleep at 12:12pm, woke up at 12:38pm, cried until I couldn’t take it anymore so I came in the room, at 1pm, at 1:04 she fell back asleep, now when do I wake her up?? Do I let her sleep until 1:42 which would be crib 90, or do I wake her up at 1:12 which would have been crib 60. Next time do I just let her cry herself back to sleep without coming in? The nap refusal is new. I also should mention that she has begun standing up to sleep overnight, and last night she was standing up from 1am-6am. She was sleeping as far as I could tell on the monitor, but probably not quality sleep.
