2025.01.30 18:27 vjeeter 1 SaaS a day keeps the doctor away
Most of you are probably already aware, but using the right combination of (AI) tools allows you to pump out insane amounts of usable code. And here, the emphasis is on it being actually useful. That's why I wanted to share the toolstack my team and I used to create a SaaS platform in a single day.
I’ve been coding with AI for about two years, and it has sucked at pretty much every step along the way. Sure, it’s good for minor tasks, but Jesus Christ have I had some moments where I wanted to burn down every AI data centre in existence.
But despite my frustrations, I did continue experimenting with workflows and toolstacks, and it’s finally come to a point where I’m actually satisfied. My team and I (3 people total) built a referral management platform in a single day, which means we could practically be pumping out hundreds of platforms a year. I mean sure, most would be trash, but it does mean we can test an f-ton of propositions to find the hidden gems.
And since I got most of this off of reddit anyway, I thought I’d be a good boy and share the toolstack we used:

Does anyone know some good DA that Noone really knows about. It could be a DA that a team on the circuit runs or one you made yourself. This next tournament I'm going to has everyone running unclos so I want to prep really well.

My daughter is 14 months old and was just diagnosed with alopecia areata. I am beyond heartbroken, worried, sad, all the things. I am also just in shock this is happening. Does anyone have any insight on this? People who were diagnosed as babies and how this progressed? Or parents of babies this age and your story? Anything is helpful right now ❤️

2025.01.30 18:27 PresenceOld1754 At what level is it safe to find dogmeat?
So dogmeat's damage and health scales with the player level. By this logic, it's ideal to level up a bit so he doesn't die fighting mutants with you.
So what level is it safe to get dogmeat?

2025.01.30 18:27 LairsAndRaccoons Big Vases - My Experience
Hello friends,
I would like to share these vases, while not gigantic, they are the biggest ones I have made so far. They are something over 40cm, around 16".
Each of them is made out of three pieces that were thrown separately, then joined together. Usually I see people joining pieces together while the clay is still soft, I always wait until its leather hard and ready to be trimmed - I will gladly hear about your experiences. I just score the rims, apply slip and push them together, center a bit and then smooth everything out with a rib. I dont wait much after that and start trimming right away.
While trimming was not overly stressful, apart from worrying about making a hole in them, the biggest worry was cracking while drying and firing. Luckily, neither happened. I dried slowly, wrapped in plastic over a week, then just left it on air. The firing process was straightforward, chuck in kiln, start my program and wait. Luckily, no cracks.
Lastly, glazing was a bit of a hassle, I ended up pouring the glaze inside the vases like usually, poured them out and waited for a day for everything to dry, then next day poured the glazes over the outside - I placed the vase in a bucket and just went for it.
I am happy with how they turned out, the blue one already has na owner, the other ones are currently next to our fireplace, looking just fine.
What would I do differently? I would glaze thicker, the blue one especially, and clean the edges a little better to make them show. But ai think the glaze pouring over thicker in places as it is now is fine too.
I will be happy to hear your opinions, critiques, or anything else you think of, and maybe this post will inspire you to try something similar.

2025.01.30 18:27 MrMonkey2 Scheduling in Grey Areas?
Hey guys so my sign up top dasher period is ending tonight. Often my market is pretty quiet and "grey" but Im not sure there are many dashers either. Theoretically even if the area is grey, if theres few drivers online will I still be allowed to "Dash now"?. If I can, is it possible a top dasher jumping on make me go offline? How does this work exactly? The whole point of this gig work for me is wanting to do it on a whim, and I dont want to schedule shifts.
Thanks for the help guys :)! - btw I am in Australia but I dont its any different but maybe an aussie could chime in their experience.

2025.01.30 18:27 mic588 Starting sleep training at 10 months
My daughter is 10 months old and has always been nursed to sleep. We do bed time around 7 and she wakes up for a feed around 2-3 and again around 5. I am usually able to get her back to sleep until 7-8 if I bring her into bed with me. For a while I was able to nurse her to sleep for naps and put her in the crib and she would stay out for an hour or two, but she was recently hospitalized with the flu and I pretty much cuddled her a for a week straight. Now she won’t let me put her down for naps at all. I realize the fact that she has never learned to fall asleep on her own is a major issue but the second I put her in her crib she is absolutely hysterical. What does sleep training look like for a 10 month old? I know I won’t do well with letting her cry and she shares a room with my 2.5 yo so I don’t want to disrupt my toddlers sleep either. Any advice on where to begin?

2025.01.30 18:27 tjsmith555 NYTimes article on young Luddites
Nytimes posted a follow-up article on the teen "Luddites" who ditched their smart phones in high school, and how they are faring in college. Reading how their tech needs have changed since they graduated to more independence in college was thought-provoking. I was thinking how useful it would be for the folk at LP to talk to these kids and get their perspective on features on what's truly needed....only to read at the end one of them is an intern at LP. That's so awesome!
They even have a website now where you can get their paper newsletter. Might be worth a donation, too. It's nice to see this from the younger generation.
Our whole society is in need of a resurgence of indie/countealternative cultures.
