So I'm 35(M) and I really like this woman (38F) . She is my neighbour and lives in the same house as me in a flat. She is black, same as me. She works everyday as a health care assistant.
I wrote her a letter and posted it in her door on the same day as we spoke in the evening with all the things about me and what I wanted.she acknowledged the letter and she managed to text me back.We met up 2 days ago in the evening and we spoke in her car which we both liked.
Since then we have both been texting each other each day. I ask her how her day went which she replys it went okay and that it has been busy.
I have asked her a few times if she wants to meet up with me and talk to get to know each other more but she says she's busy and tired each night.
Does she like me? I want to explain to her that I really like her and starting to get feelings for her but not sure how she'll take it. How do I tell her politely. I don't want her to feel like I'm being creepy.

Of the various reasons I never wanted to have a child, the state of this horrible world is number one. I've been ready to end my life for quite a while now (I'm being treated, it's not quite as bad now) but my little one, 5 years old, is what keeps me going. Because I need to be there to do everything I can to make sure she has the happiest life possible.
She was an accident but I love her more than anything else in the world. Me and her mum broke up 7 months ago and it's been seriously rough for me. The only thing keeping me going is thinking of her happy little face, her lovely little giggles, all the fun things I plan for us for every time we get to see each other. She's an absolute ray of sunshine and we are best friends.
But I hate the fact that the world is becoming more right-wing and global warming threatens our future. Life is only going to get worse for women, minorities, the poor and many others; and at some point I won't be there to protect her and make her smile.
I'm in the UK, where the slippery slope of hateful politics isn't as evident as in other parts of the world, but I see a future for her of increased misogyny, decreased bodily autonomy and all that horrible stuff, and I don't know how to cope with it.
I never wanted to bring another life into this world because it sucks, but accidents happen and now I can do little but think about how bad life is going to be for this lovely little human that I love to pieces and want the best for.

2025.01.30 23:40 Brave_Competition_15 Chapter 4 Glitches Galore
Chapter 4 was fun but it has a ton of glitches or at least in my play through, some include music playing for to long past a certain point and the tv screen dudes not chasing u properly, the Omni hand generator puzzle not working correctly, and the first interaction with the nightmare critters with them coming out of the cells to fast, but this could have just been a problem on my end. Overall the game was, actually I don't have any overall thoughts because it won't let me take the battery out of the generator in the Omni hand section. I can't take out the stupid surge sector and I restarted this section 8 different times I need help. And yes I pressed the red hand scan it still doesn't work.

Hello! so Sunday night last week me (18M) and my friends decided to trip on DXM for the fun of it, and I ended up having a pretty bad long panic attack. Now I had done DXM three times before, only on the third time did I end up getting a panic attack, mainly because I experienced robo-itch, something that hadn't happened to me before that point.
So after this last time and having a really bad panic attack, probably abut an hour long maybe more, I felt really weird the day after, and since then whenever I stare at something it kind of gets burned into my eyes for a few seconds. For example, when I stare at my teacher teaching and he sits in one place then moves I can see his outline in my vision, or when I read Reddit posts I can see the lines when I look away. I can't tell if I actually have bad visual snow now, or if I am psyching myself up about it
Also since that trip my anxiety has been far worse than before and I was wondering if that factors in to having HPPD. I really want to continue using substances safely, for example LSA, Psilocybin, and LSD, but is this a sign that I shouldn't? or should I only use them after my classes end and I'm not stressed? Any helpful words are very much appreciated!!

We’re looking for a bigger place (currently own a condo in Santa Clara) anywhere between San Jose and San Francisco (not east bay). Schools absolutely don’t matter to us but we do want a 3bd/2bth with at least 1500 sq ft. I see some listings for under or around that price but estimates are 100-300K higher than listed price and from previous experience - intentionally to get more offers. We don’t want to deal with excessive bidding and willing to put ~50% down. Would that help us or should we just stay in our condo?

2025.01.30 23:40 _xXTheMountainXx_ Need help: High-beams won’t stay on.
Trying to diagnose the following. 2016 Rubicon my low beams stay on and I don’t seem to have any other electrical issues, but when I push my lever forward to turn on high beams they will flash on for a second then automatically switch back to the low beams. The lever stays in place and the high beam dash light stays on. Everything is stock ( headlights, electrical routings, switches, etc)
Where should I start?

I thought I would have a week before the appraiser came, but I found out he’s coming tomorrow at 3. I had some bigger aspirations for before they came, but now I have to be a bit pickier about what I do.
My house is clean and uncluttered, but there are always tons of things that need to be touched up.
Any small things I can do in just a few hours?
Should I forget about touching up paint and just buy some flowers?

I went on an expensive Etsy buying spree, stopped then did it again months later.
Now that I have more junk than I can handle, I started buying cheap things like stickers for $3 and lip balms.
It gives me the buying and receiving a package endorphins minus the expense. And no, I’m not deep diving into these items and overdoing it. I have no interest in collecting within these categories.
Just sharing because this has helped me. And on Etsy, it has changed my suggestion algorithms so I rarely see the expensive items that I was ‘addicted’ to anymore.
