Tenho visto cada vez mais nas seleções e no cotidiano dos trabalhos uma cobrança para que os empregados ou candidatos não só façam seu trabalho, mas que se emocionem com o que fazem e emocionem os outros. Isso aparece tanto em seleções focadas em "soft skills", que pedem mais o que a pessoa É do que o que a pessoa sabe fazer. Tenho visto tanto no meu trabalho como no de amigos (e no mundo do Linkedin também) que é preciso fazer planilhas que emocionem, escrever um artigo científico que façam as pessoas chorarem, etc.
Eu até entendo que fazer algo com o qual você se importa profundamente pode mobiliar bastante. Mas sinceramente, solicitar isso (e colocar isso como requisito de emprego!!) para pessoas que tem que escolher entre se envolver emocionalmente ou com o trabalho ou com família e amigos é algo bem cruel. Para alguém exaurido pelo trabalho, por passar por parte das minhas horas dentro de um escritório, cobrar por envolvimento emocional, além do serviço feito, é algo bem cruel.
Uma consequência é que alguém com exaustão só tende a se esgotar mais e mais e ser menos empregável. Isso me preocupa para um caramba.

I am trying to purchase a 2023 GMC Acadia, but the dealership has these bogus fees for sketching the vin number in the window (isn’t this already there? Lmao) and some dumb pro package. I have to drive almost 3 hours to get this vehicle and I do not plan to ever drive back out there to use anything that’s included with that. But, they are refusing to drop the package. And this isn’t the first dealership I’ve been to that has this.

When one of my collogues opened a bank account (normal current account as mine), she got a Visa Infinite Debit card, which has unlimited 1+1 lounge access. I tried to call bank ask to change my debit card to Visa Infinite, but they saying unlike a credit card, they can't change debit card now. So one of my friends is a music writer for bass guitar and he said “there’s two kind of tones that are pretty unique” then he mentioned Slayer and how they play then he mentioned Megadeth, which I kinda understood that one, but would be the technical word for those kind of “tones”.
