To set the scene, Valentines day and our 7th anniversary is coming up.
We had just gotten done eating lunch (we split the bill)
And we stopped at Walmart he didn't want to go in so I thought it would be a great idea to get him Valentine's gifts.
I got a gift bag with tissue paper got his favorite candy, a set of socks, vanilla cake pops, a new pair of shirts and silly string so we could have a silly string fight. And I put it all in the bag and came out to the car and before he even looked he asked if I could return it.
He does this every time I get something. I'm not a horrible gift giver but it's always about money. It doesn't matter if we're strapped for cash or doing really well financially, it's the same complaint, but then he goes and drops money on video games or something off Amazon.
He never gets anything for me and when he does I feel like I have to pull his leg or beg him.
I like feeling special and since I don't get that in return,I do it for him.
Aita for not wanting to return the gifts, even though it's my money? I paid our bills and everything beforehand so I just am not seeing the problem
Note - apparently last week he told me not to get anything but it was while I was working so i don't think I actually heard it.

This isn't something that happened recently. It was a couple years ago. Me, and another girl were in the same class and every single time I looked over, she would be staring at me.im not attractive at all and I don't think it's coincidental, she sat in the exact opposite corner of the room and would have to be turned around. We know each other, but only talked one time in 6th grade when my dumbass said something very mean to her and never apologized. Do applications from before Feb 1st take priority over later ones? I will be applying in late Feb/early March. Is it pretty unlikely to still get accepted if you apply late to a bachelor with a small number of spots? I don't have a stellar application either, just the requirements of the bachelor(IB). I’m a few months in and my collection is decent for the age. I’ve had many success trades and a few not so successful. I’m having difficulty finding a starting point when trading for older cards. My favorite player played 2006-2021. On the fence HOF’er but doubtful. All of his cards are older 2012-2021. I want to make successful trades for the cards I want and don’t mind overpaying at all and I know older cards carry more value. My trouble is finding a starting point. I don’t want to be offensively low but I also don’t want to trade 3, 25cc Legendarys for a 12,000cc common either. I know every trade is different. Thanks for any advice.
