Hello Reddit,
I’m in a bit of a dilemma and could really use some advice. I’ve been accepted for a postdoctoral research position at Harvard, School of Medicine, which is amazing, but the position is non-funded. The catch is that I don't have any publications or significant experience in the field (I'm relatively new to this area of research).
To make matters more complicated, I was rejected by Fulbright, and my BAEF (Belgian American Educational Foundation) interview didn’t go as well as I had hoped. So now, I’m really struggling to figure out how to move forward.
Here’s a summary of my situation:
- Are there any postdoctoral funding opportunities for someone in my situation (especially with no publications yet)?

Did a valve cover today. On a 2009 civic, 1.8L. When I got my torque wrench, it just kept turning, only on one of the 8 bolts.
I left it, did all the others, no leaks or nothing. Got it up to temp, test drove, checked again, no leaks.
Should I be concerned?

 | I had likely the most stacked run I've possibly had with the most optimal build i know and even STILL I got to only 60% of the wave before I got mauled mercilessly. Plus even despite my max power energy bombardment doing its best, it seemed to only tickle enemies. The nuke and the bell special artifact were the only things killing enemies. At this point I really just need to see a video of someone going through a full wave with all the stats as well. I've suddenly started having issues with a colony 100+ hours old. After uninstalling all mods and checking them out individually it seems to be CE related.
My current mod list,
Harmony, Core, Hugslib, CE - allowing the game to auto sort mods.
The problem occurs when a colonist tries to go to/do something more than about 20 blocks away. They don't appear to be able to path find. It only happens when they have to go more than around 20 blocks, they will not rest, eat, hunt, work. They either just stand there frozen or the active action flashes between the action and standing while my frame rate tanks. The only way for me to clear the issues is to draft them and walk them closer to where they want to go.
Happens with every colonist, with every job/action if it's not close.
Any ideas ?

I was using a Kar-98k and switched it to an AK-47 un the lobby, then when I loaded into a solo rebirth game I could use the AK in the pre lobby but then when I was actually playing the game and bought a loadout it had the Kar-98k. No matter how many times I switch it to the ak, it keeps going back to kar 98

But then he texted me his room number. I thought this was a green light so I made a move (boldly drunk) and he shut me down. Did I read the situation wrong?

My cousin died back in July. A week later I was on vacation 2am or so in the am sleeping and I felt something poke me on my left shoulder. My wife was next to me so I thought it was her and ignored it. Then it happened again on my right shoulder and heard he needs you from a familiar disembodied voice.. In a dream state I shot out of my body at Warp speed I think guided by the voice who I think is an angel I had previous interactions.
I stopped or the angel stoppped me and saw my cousin with glasses on which he hasn't worn in a long time and he was surrounded by dark beings. He saw me and looked shocked. He was not practicing and the last time we talked he said there are other gods and his relationship with God was tricky. I was about to grab him away and try to banish the dark things but then a bright light appeared to the left of us and I woke up in my bed conscious with my eyes closed.
Later on I began to doubt that it had happened throughout the summer. I spoke to my pastor and he said my cousin would have met Jesus at the time of his death. But I saw what I saw amd had other interactions like this that was comfirmed in the real world. I wondered if time was different in the heaven or afterlife. I finally in January decided to confirm I believed it happen. Then a few nights later I was sleeping and attacked by a dark being. I woke up in my sleep was about to start to banish it then paused. That same female voice said go for it its ok. I said Enoch then I saw another word but didn't say it then I said transien and it was gone. I feel my doubt put a wall up between me amd God. but as soon as As I believed It was gone. and the enemy did not like having me close to God again.

I just bought an electric fan heater for my room, which is apparently 1800-2000W and 220-240V. It says to plug it directly into the wall, but the cord is short, so I can't do that without putting it under my bed, which would definitely be a fire hazard. I also just bought a new extension cord with 4 outlets, where you can turn on/off the electricity going into each outlet. The extension cord says it can handle up to 13A and 250V, which, according to an online converter, appears to be over 3000W. Does this mean this extension cord is made to handle something as powerful as a space heater? Can I use this extension cord with my heater, at least while supervising it?
