I’m 28 years old. I was diagnosed with CHS January 28th. (2 days ago)
I was first introduced to flower in Colorado Springs in 2020. It was real, THC. Amazing.
Stopped using.
Fast forward to 2022. Started buying cbd vapes from vape shops to use for fun and whatnot. Used here and there on weekends and it was really just for fun.
- My grandma passed away on hospice care due to cancer. I held her hand as she took her last breath, held her hand until they came to pick her up, and helped change her lifeless body into her favorite outfit.
My appetite was utter trash, nausea every single morning without fail, fatigue, no energy, no desire to do anything or see anybody, all my hobbies and interests faded.
September 2024, I went outta town with my siblings and had a good first day. That next morning I was in the air bnb bathroom on my hands and knees vomiting and wrenching for at least 7 hours. I couldn’t get relief. I thought I was just sick or had a stomach bug so I continued using.
Drove 9 hours home vomiting and dry heaving in a trash sack. Not fun. Spent a few days at home not eating and vomiting but my mom said I needed to go to the hospital so I did. I was severely dehydrated. But they ran tests and nothing. So they sent me home.
I went off it for about a month. Felt okay again. Used again and got a little episode in November and December.
This past episode has rocked my entire world. I was using pretty heavily tho the past month and boom. Same exact symptoms but even worse this time. Even worse. I haven’t dehydrated yet (thankfully) but I’ve been super careful to stay as hydrated as possible. Even if that means less solids for me right now.
I started having an episode January 12th, 2025 and it’s still going. However I am 4 days clean. So now I’m left with the awful withdrawals. Can’t seem to keep my body temp regulated, nausea, stomach discomfort, little bit of panic and anxiety.
I will never, ever smoke weed again. There isn’t one thing I could think of that would be worth going through a CHS episode again. 4 episodes down and hopefully 0 to go.
To help with symptoms my doc had me on pantoprazole, dicyclomine, and Promethazine. However, it didn’t seem like that was really helping much so he just switched me over today to Metoclopramide. So hopefully that can help some of the detox symptoms.
Just wanted to share my story to see if it could help someone else. I’ve been reading through other stories and they’ve helped me know I’m going to get through this.

This traitorous fuck is widely regarded as the worst President in US history, and they're trying to put his face next to some of the greatest presidents, on what is one of the most significant national symbols of the country. The presidents on Mt. Rushmore would have never even condoned Trump becoming President.
This is one of the most disgustingly unpatriotic things I've ever seen. They somehow still manage to surprise me with how depraved they can be in service to their orange rapist felon god-emperor daddy.
It also reminds me of the statues that narcissistic dictators had propped up of themselves in the past...Stalin, Mao, Hussein, Assad, the Kim family, etc...
How much more shame can these people bring to the country?

2025.01.30 23:11 DanielD2724 Growth and than flip to Divs VS Dividends all the way up?
Hello FIREd people!
I'm 21 and investing for around 3 years now.
Since I started investing I thought that dividends were the way to go.
Recently I started to question if maybe it would be better to go all into growth and then when I'm closer to my $2.5-$3 million goal, flip those growth stocks into dividend stocks and live happily ever after.
The only things that I don't like about it are the tax bill and also the possibility of losing a lot of my investments in a crash (much more than if I had been invested in dividends).
I want to end up with dividends in either scenario because I don't want to worry about a crash when I'm retired and also I want to pass my investments to my kids so that they would have a headstart and wouldn't have to start the whole thing from scratch.
What do you recommend would be the best strategy for me?
In which of the scenarios do I achieve my goal faster?
(Also take into account all the taxes I would pay when selling the stocks)

So, for the past few months, my doctors have wanted me to gain a little more than 20 lbs. I've resisted and refused to follow orders, but now they're getting very serious and threatening hospitalization, so I feel a little tempted to do it, but I really don't want to because the 140 number is scary. However, I have convinced my mom (whom I live with b/c I'm still in my senior year of HS) to let me go to 128 lbs, and that's a deal I'll probably take them up on since it's better than the alternative. Right now, I'm a 5'9, 117-lbs woman with 18% body fat. Regardless of my measurements, though, I want to know what professionals believe is the ideal weight for a 5'9 woman because I'm already fat right now and 140 seems way too high so I want to get a second opinion.
And yes—I could just ask them, but they're pseudoscientific "ED specialists" or whatever, so they're biased and not reliable.
Also, if it makes any difference, I'm trans and not a biological woman (or a woman at all depending on whom you ask), but I don't care because I refuse to be at a man's weight (which 140 is), and although 128 is better, it still seems high.

I’m planning on buying a 2003 Toyota Mr2 Spyder, 100k miles, automatic, 4cyl for 8K. That being said, would it be a good first car? I’m playing as the Habsburg Empire on the iOS version. I am unable to recruit the Regiment of Horse in any of my territories (which include most of the starting ones, Brandenburg, East Prussia, Bosnia, and Serbia). I can recruit territorial cavalry, but only in the smaller regions without the ability to build barracks (Silesia, for example).
In the big cities, my barracks are the level required typically. The buildings (even when I examine the future barracks in the tech trees) in these regions say that cavalry is not among the recruitable troops.
Is this a bug or am I missing something? I just played as Prussia, which I know has slightly different troops, but I was able to recruit cavalry.

I went to Casa Bonita recently on a reservation and it was not a fun experience. Not sure if anyone else has had this happen to them, I truly feel like it’s overhyped and overpriced.
But then I realized something. I’m just not the target audience. I am a zoomer born right before Y2K. When I was a young child going to Casa Bonita, it was in the early 2000s and the restaurant was in pretty gross shape. I don’t have much nostalgia for Casa Bonita as a kid at all, nor do I really remember these experiences from childhood. I also don’t really like South Park (my mom would force me to watch it and enjoy it, now I don’t like it, don’t hate me for this lol). It just sucks because I wanted to enjoy CB, seeing all the tourists and natives excited about it makes me feel like I’m taking my home state for granted
But also… this place is honestly just for tourists and families. Too packed and overstimulating. That could just be me though
