I rescued a male brown tabby 2 years ago, he was only 1.5 y/o at the time. He was initially super stressed and reactive, but turned very sweet with me which led me to foster fail. He shows a lot of signs of being separated from mom too early / not being socialized as a kitten. He likes people and comes up to my friends, will rub up on them seemingly asking for attention, and after they give him a few pets heâll try to bite them with almost no warning. He doesnât fully understand the âplayâ bite either, in a few cases its drawn blood. What can I do to deter this behavior? Donât even get me started on cat sitters, heâs a total menace with them too

wir haben nun unser GrundstĂŒck (1000 qm) erhalten, auf dem sich noch ein altes Haus, zwei kleinere StĂ€lle und eine gemauerte Scheune befinden. Die GebĂ€ude mĂŒssen zunĂ€chst komplett gerĂ€umt werden, bevor alles bis auf die Scheune abgerissen werden kann.
Mein Plan ist, einen AnhĂ€nger (3 x 1,8 m, 3,5 t) zu kaufen, um die alten GegenstĂ€nde zu entsorgen und Bauschutt abzutransportieren. SpĂ€ter wollte ich den AnhĂ€nger auch nutzen, um Schotter, Sand und Ă€hnliches zu besorgen. Ich möchte jedoch nicht den gesamten Bauschutt mit dem AnhĂ€nger abtransportieren. Wenn es mehr wird, wĂŒrde ich in Einen Container mieten.
Alternativ ĂŒberlege ich, ob es sinnvoller wĂ€re, ein Abbruchunternehmen zu beauftragen. Eine Firma könnte das alles in wenigen Tagen erledigen, was mir ermöglichen wĂŒrde, schneller mit dem nĂ€chsten Schritt fortzufahren. Allerdings wĂ€ren die Kosten dafĂŒr höher als beim selbststĂ€ndigen Abriss.

Read red rising and found it interesting if a little YA power fantasy, found the worldbuilding interesting but the writing a bit basic and very much 'and then, and then, and then' etc with darrow just bouncing between plot situations and no real plot development/planning.
about halfway through golden sun and its just so much worse, its like reading a JJ abrams mysterybox with constant pivots on story and stuff being brought forward that was hidden from reader, was expecting an interesting build into the society of golds with information gathering/planning on how to bring down the colours but its instead just darrow powering through issues one by one constantly changing his objective/mind with no set up or tension, constant 'well secretly we organised this thing' etc, even more over the top power fantasy.
Book just feels like a big let down and im wanting to know is there a big upgrade to the writing quality/plot structure? or is it just more of the same?

Iâve been meaning to get to this show for a long time and finally binge-watched the first three seasons. Iâve never seen anything like this - where the good guys are sometimes bad guys and vice-versa. Like Prez cold-cocking that poor kid with his gun, and then spending the rest of his life trying to do some good. And Omar (RIP đą), who at first seemed like the worst, coldest villain, but who now is my absolute favorite person on the show. It is so compelling, so thought-provoking. And so damn real. No one is a perfectly good person. No one is devoid of corruption. Honestly, season four makes you see that politicians are just as ruthless and hateful, if not more, than whoever âownsâ the streets at the time. I guess Iâm babbling - I really donât know to explain how profoundly this show (itâs just a show! I know that!) has made me think harder on everything Iâve ever thought or thought I knew. Sheesh. Excellent.

2025.01.31 02:42 DW6565 What software should I use to map and create my homes new wiring diagram and plans? For a non electrician.
My house started with aluminum wiring and much of it has been replaced in an add hock manner over the years and several different owners.
Some rooms, remodeled all new modern wiring. Some parts, pulled new wiring for outlets or fixtures then ran to junction boxes and used the allumicon heat shrink adapters and the aluminum trunks go to the box. Some is still just aluminum but has been inspected professionally and tightened up anything that looked brittle or had the wrong connections.
Itâs a rats nest. Some breakers are taking too much load and some hardly any at all.
I want to pull all new trunks from the box to new junction boxes. In an organized fashion and more evenly balanced out the rooms and have a very clean and well labeled box.
Then as I remodel any rooms have the remaining aluminum pulled out and replaced. I plan to take every room down to the studs at some point.
I donât want to rewire the entire house at once for cost and disruption to the family.

My tank has an issue with staying clean, it only has 2 goldfish in it, but it ends up getting fully murky within 4 to 5 days, and the filter I have is for 40 gallons and my tank is 20 gallon, but is not effective. I tried this wavemaker filter, but the current seems too strong for the smaller goldfish, so what filter might keep my tank clean and not affect my fish too much?

My closest friend (22 f) of 4 years has been dating a bigot for 1 year and Iâm afraid his manipulation on her will lead to the end of our friendship. Im also afraid that with time and comfort ability he will become full blown abusive. A few days ago she made a post on here asking for help regarding her relationship and received tons of advice to leave him even though she left out crucial details in order to not make him look AS horrible. She still decided to talk it out, but this is one of those relationships where I donât think she would ever leave him. Sheâs all too willing to âlearn and growâ from the arguments and gives him chances to change even though he doesnât. Iâm going to explain 2 past experiences Iâve had from him that left a horrible look for himself along with the 3rd circumstance which led to her writing a Reddit post. Iâm going to refer to her as Claire and her boyfriend as Cole. One time Cole and Clair came to a bonfire that I hosted with maybe 10 other adults. At multiple points in the get together the people would split from group conversation and people would turn and have side conversation. Everyone would enjoying their time talking to each other and Cole would get frustrated. He would get upset that all 10+ people would not engage in a single mass conversation with his as the center of attention. So he kept on insisting we play a game or start a new conversation. He kept pushing a conversation starter called âhot takesâ which most people were not too interested in each time he brought it up. But eventually he insisted enough and we all tried it out. It began with people giving safe takes like, not like fish, or believing that aliens are real. But this made him, again, upset. He wanted â real adult conversationâ he kept saying he wanted controversial opinions. So people gave a few. And after about 2-3 responses it became clear that this was a game of say something controversial so he can just argue against people and try to make the other person look stupid. When people would disengage in his âgameâ he would become angry but imagine a angry guy but he holds a manipulative smile the whole time as he says things like âweâre all adults I donât get why we canât have intellectual conversationâ over and over and over again. He wouldnât let go of the topic until Claire decided it was time to take him home. The second situation I dealt with is again very similar. We are at Coles house, itâs me Clair, and two of Coles guy friends. Someone brings a card game thatâs essentially truth or dare but sexual. Cole sets it up and urges us to play. When we start the game people keep pulling truth cards or pulling the occasional dare which would be slid right under the deck because nobody was comfortable doing any of them. Like the bonfire event he holds his manipulative smile while noticeable anger seeps through his lips in condescending tones. He says things like we are âall adultsâ and calling us âpussiesâ. There was a specific point when I pulled a card that asked me to remove articles of clothing. I went to put the card away, but he got mad and started up with the exact same argument as before. This did in fact make claire uncomfortable. Claire didnât like that Cole was full on trying to persuade me to strip. We ended the game with Cole mad because we didnât play to its full potential and we ended it too early in his opinion. (We played the game for 2 hours) now before I move on, I want to mention in both of these scenarios I personally did feel victimized to some extent. At the bonfire, he made a lot of my guests uncomfortable which gave me a lot of anxiety and still does. With playing truth or dare I didnât like being pressured into expose myself. (His house is a hour away from my home and he had made us frozen cocktails before the game, so I was stuck) at the end of these situations I had conversations with claire about his actions and claire would always âtalk to himâ and somehow theyâd always work it out but working it out never included an apology to me. Some background information before I get to the third part- claire had been a full-time nursing student when they met. She was able to spend a lot of time over at his place. Spending a lot in gas and studying in his home while he worked. This allowed him to come home most nights to a clean home and a loving girlfriend. But as of recently since she graduated, she has been Working overtime as a ICU step down nurse. Because she works an hour away from where he lives she hasnât been able to spend as much time with him. This man has also told her before that he has an extremely hide the sex drive and if it wasnât for her being able to keep up with him, he wouldnât be able to be in a relationship with claire. So as you can imagine he was been distant and frustrated with Claire recently. I also believe Cole is about 25+ and I know that is his first long term relationship. Cole works as a warehouse manager for a food company. He believes that if he can manage his weight and health goals while working his job that Clair can also. Heâd always make small remarks when she would have a snack and constantly remind her of the goals that he created for her to lose weight. I personally think itâs great to be healthy but Clair is starting to work for the first time of her life, overtime, and sheâs in the ICU for 12+ hours at a time. Sheâs in a moment of her life where sheâs gotta focus on balancing work and life for the first time and thereâs so much going on that sheâs gotta learn and execute with complete accuracy. She doesnât need a man belittling her eating habits all the time. Not right now especially. He even has made comments about my unhealthy eating habits which is extremely out of line considering I struggle with ARFID. Iâm 5â10 and 115 lbs??? If you see me eating leave me the fuck in peace because itâs important that I get any nutrients I can get my hands on. Now onto a few days ago. Heâs sexually frustrated and claire just got off from work. Sheâs in my town and I ask if she wants to hang out, itâs a Saturday night. she doesnât plan on driving out to see Cole because it would be too much out of the way with her work. So we get together and I come up with the idea that we go out to our favorite entertainment place. It has bowling, mini golf, drinks, food, ect. I came up with the idea because I spent a lot of time indoors other than going to work, i dont drink often, and claire loves to do karaoke. While weâre there, we have a few drinks order donuts, but she spends most of her time occupied texting back-and-forth with him. Clear sensed that Cole has been distant so she decided to ask about it since he left her on read. The whole time Cole runs through all these different things that he says are pissing him off all not even remotely related to what he finally said after 2 hours of conversation with Clair. At first he said claire wasnât hitting her goals and kept saying that he is a very goal oriented person. Just another jab at her eating habits. He was being very vague and not explaining his emotions or what he wanted at all. He would only respond in short sentences and kept a calm steady voice while Clair cried and begged. He eventually tried to give claire an ultimatum by saying âheâs going to bed at 3 AM â he wouldnât flat out say you need to leave your friend and drive all the out to him immediately. What Cole eventually landed on as his reasoning for being so mad, the fact that we went out and she didnât tell him. She didnât tell Cole because he left her on read and it was so last minute. Cole accused us of going there to pick up guys. This was NOT that type of place and Cole has been there multiple times. He eventually put the blame on me because Iâm single. He thinks single women have an agenda and the whole time slanders women. He also isnât make the most sense with his words at this time either. He went on some spiel about âif a women cheats itâs different than if a man cheatsâ which was so weird because nobody even mentioned cheating at that point. It was so misplaced in the conversation it really just felt like he projected the fact he cheated. Keep in mind heâs very sexually frusterated right now because of Clairâs work schedule. This whole thing was extremely offending to me because Iâve been recently harnessed a few times at a job I work and have been extremely on edge being in public. Also I am not looking for a relationship since Iâm working a ton to save up and live at home. But he really latched onto misconstruing the type of women I am. He made a few misogynistic comments throughout the argument but would not take anything he said back or apologize no matter how much Clair explained. Iâm really worried that he has either already cheated or is going to cheat. I also feel like if he has or does Claire wonât find out. Claire loves Cole so much even at the entertainment place she was crying and begging for them to be okay and swore sheâd never do it again. (A 22 year old grown women should be able to go out with her best friend and not be accused of cheating) I honestly worry our friendship is over because the misogyny and having to explain to someone whoâs not my boyfriend that Iâm not trying to go out and pick up guys and still get stone walled is too much for me. If heâs convincing her to lose weight and to not go out without him heâs just going to convince her that Iâm bad for her. Sheâs giving into his manipulative tactics. He could try to convince her that Iâm bad for their relationship if they want to become a better couple even though I only see Claire 1-3 times a month. Iâm proud of myself I work two jobs, full time with special needs children and another 12+ hours at a starbucks. 3 days I work from 7am-8:30pm. But I also feel like I canât be around her if sheâs gunna allow him to get away with all that he should apologize to me for. And Iâve had this conversation with her too. Heâs very much one of those Andrew Tate type, bachelor self improvement podcast, men. Thereâs so much more I could go into depth about. âClaireâ if you read this think back to when the three of us went on that hike at the swamp reserve. Anyway yall let me know what I should do!!!!!

My Dr. put me (45F) on Nextstellis due to super heavy periods as i'm approaching perimeanopause (i assume). First month I had quite a bit of brown discharge over the 3 weeks, which i assume was just my body getting used to it. Got my period during the placebo week. Great. light and manageable.
a week and a half into pack 2 I get some spotting one day. The following night; awful painful cramps turning to sharp pains. Passed a pretty significant clot (2 toonie size) followed by a gush of blood and have been bleeding and cramping off and on for the 3 days since.
Anyone experience this? Do I give up and just start taking the first couple days of my periods off work (think super+ tampon and a pad change every 3 hours ish) ?
IUD was offered, but my dr's a bitch and i have SEVERE anxiety issues so i'm sure having it put in will be traumatic. And will it actually make it better?
