Aside from just being a badly written faction, they also do some morally dubious things.
The main one being the memory wipes, and sure, they are only done on synths who "consent" (with true consent being a bit complicated, given that a synth's ability to make a good decision in this situation is compromised since they know close to nothing about the world). Memory wipes are never okay, and they undermine the whole point of saving synths. Wiping memories is murder of an individual, and replacing the memories with fake ones is even worse. They care more about the body itself instead of the mind, which is what makes someone who they are.
It's like saving someone from slavery, then asking them if they want to forget the traumatic experience, and when they agree, shoot them in the head.
Did you free them? Yes. Is the person you saved alive? No.
And Implanting fake memories and personalities is even worse, and we can see the resuls of how unmoral it is with paladin danse.
And don’t get me wrong, I don’t consider synths human, but just because they aren’t human doesn’t mean that they aren’t people. Sentience is all that matters, it’s the same with ghouls. They aren’t humans, but they are people.
You might argue that "synths aren’t sentient" but if that’s the case, then you aren’t either. Synths have 1:1 human brains; they literally have the same hardware as us. Therefore, it’s reasonable to assume they are capable of sentience. Also, they clearly want freedom. Something like that isn’t just a "computer glitch."
"Hmmmm, I wonder why my toaster with a fully operational human brain replica yearns for freedom? It must be a computer virus!" — some random SRB member.
And yes, they do have brain chips, but these chips don’t change much. They are basically a glorified USB port for tampering with memories, and since Kellogg's chip was compatible with the tech Doctor Amari uses, it’s reasonable to assume that they work the same way. Therefore, this memory tampering should be possible on normal humans.

Hej, zastanawiam się co ogólnie sądzi się o pracownikach, którzy zamiast przesłać/przynieść CV przychodzą i zostawiają swój numer telefonu lub proszą na wejściu o rozmowę z rekruterem/managerem?
Ponieważ to jest sposób w jaki ja zawsze szukałam pracy i się udawało zawsze gdy akurat robiłam to właśnie w taki sposób. Jeden jedyny raz (jakoś od razu po ukończeniu liceum) szukałam pracy z użyciem CV, które drukowałam i roznosiłam ale wtedy nie dostałam żadnego zadnego odzewu a jak już to były, to były to januszexy, które na rozmowie proponowali pierwszy dzień "treningu" który skupiał się głównie na tym, że kazali mi cały dzien pracować za darmo. Nope.
Nie pracowałam co prawda w wielu miejscach a w tych co już pracowałam byłam przez ponad 1-2 lata więc nie wiem też jak wygląda sytuacja teraz zwłaszcza, że idąc po mieście widzę ogłoszenia na szybach gdzie pisze by zostawić CV.
To nie jest tak, że mam z tym jakiś osobisty problem. Jeżeli potencjalne miejsce pracy odmówiłoby mi rozmowy i poprosiłoby o CV to bym to zrobiła ale osobiście zawsze uważałam, że pisanie CV, drukowanie go i roznoszenie to strata czasu kiedy mogę to wszystko przedstawić słownie i przy okazji poznać potencjalnego pracodawcę juz od początku.
Zawsze wydawała mi się ta opcja też o wiele bardziej sympatyczna i oszczędna w czasie ponieważ nie musiałam siedzieć jak na szpilkach czekając czy dostanę odzew (zwłaszcza gdy potencjalne miejsce pracy było ulicę dalej) czy szykować się mentalnie na rozmowę o pracę bo zwykle ta rozmowa wstępna już zwykle przesądzała czy zostanę zatrudniona czy nie.
Mówię tu tutaj o małych miejscach pracy typu prywatny sklep, restauracja itp. Wiadomo, że gdybym aplikowała w ten sposób do jakiejś wielkiej firmy na ważne stanowisko to byłabym prawdopodobnie wyśmiana.
Zastanawiam się teraz jakie jest podejście do tego typu pracowników z perspektywy innych pracowników czy pracodawców? Jest dużo osób, które szuka pracy w taki sposób czy raczej wszyscy piszecie CV a ja jestem dziwna? 😆

I plan to mount an aluminum cargo carrier on my GeoPro 2 inch receiver. To transport a small generator, fuel and also a box or crate of some sorts. I am a current freshman taking a Spanish 2 (Spanish 1002) class at my university, and I’m currently struggling.
For context, I took 2 years of Spanish in high school, but I haven’t taken a Spanish class since May 2023. I had to take a placement test to get into my class. A 26-40 would place me into my class and I got a 27, so I barely made the mark.
However, I feel I’m really struggling in my class. I feel I’ve forgotten so many basic skills because I’m haven’t taken a Spanish class in 1 1/2 years. My professor speaks primarily in Spanish and I can barely understand her. I feel in general my listening skills are way below where they should be. We also have to do a lot of speaking in my class and I feel my speaking skills are way below where they should be as well, especially compared to my classmates.
A lot of my classmates have been out of Spanish for some time too, but they don’t seem to be struggling as much. For example, we had a writing assignment and most people wrote a full page but I only wrote half a page. They answer the professors questions in class. And I got last on a Kahoot.
As part of my class, we have online conversations with native speakers and other people in our class. Mine genuinely went so bad. I could hardly understand my speaker and I could hardly answer her questions because I simply didn’t know the Spanish. Meanwhile, the other people in my group were having full conversations with her.
I would drop to a lower class, but my only option would be to drop to Spanish 1001, which is the very first basic class. I don’t feel I’m up to level in my class, but I feel I know enough that I wouldn’t belong in Spanish 1001. I would go to tutoring, but I’m not really sure what I need help with. I can’t pinpoint exact issues so I’m not sure how much tutoring would help.
I want to learn Spanish, but I’m worried my grade won’t be good if I stay in this class. I’m considering just dropping the class completely. Does anyone have any advice?

Alesis Crimson 2 runs fine in Reaper with Line in from kit. Records audio fine. EZ Drummmer 3 as a stand alone runs fine and records as midi fine using usb midi.
Been using Reaper inside and out for years and can’t for the life of me figure out how to record via midi and as midi, directly into a Reaper track. There has to be a way to do this without using EZD3 as a stand alone but as a plugin inside Reaper.
I have built kits EZD3 I really like but also want to record as midi for editing purposes.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
