Seeing some videos, It gave me the thought of possibly including the Glitch mechanics from Pacific Drive.
Essentially, in the game you're driving around a haunted car. Sometimes it gets a 'glitch' where performing one action causes another to occur. Opening the Passenger side door causes the windshield wipers to activate. Turning the radio on makes the back-left tire fall off. Things of that nature that follows "When (car part) is (interaction), The (car part 2) does (action)"
Would something like that add a layer of interest? Maybe as a late game addition? I'm imagining things like "Turn up Frequency polarity knob, Cassette in processing is ejected." "Opening the Server room Doors switches the light in the main room." "Every time Kel lands on his feet, the power goes out" "Calling the Drone knocks TR_2's integrity 20 points" It'll start off seemingly randomly, but players would start to notice a pattern and grow worried about entities, before braving the unknown and begin investigating the mystery.
If they were to implement it without adding another screen to fiddle with, maybe there's a 'Ch.Glitch' command that will start up a multiple choice questionnaire to identify the issue. If you don't know an answer, the multiple choices will give you clues on how to investigate the glitch. "What's the affected area? What is the area doing? What seems to be activating it?" Get all 3 correct and it heals up. Get it wrong... well, plenty can go wrong.

For reference, see the affidavit here. This is the newly-revised affidavit, following one submitted the day prior.
Richard Green appears to be doubling down on the 2:27 claim, and makes a number of new or clarified claims regarding this artifact and Jen's phone extraction.
1. Green understands that Cellebrite has updated their software to remove timestamps connected to these artifacts, but ran the phone extraction through Axiom (a similar tool), finding that even the newest version of Axiom's software still contains the timestamp.
This is a nonsensical claim. The issue isn't whether or not the timestamp exists, the issue is what the timestamp refers to. Cellebrite recognized that the timestamp can (and did) confuse investigators, so they made the decision to remove it in their reports. Axiom simply hasn't yet, or just allows it to continue being there.
Forensic tools such as Axiom and Cellebrite have the job of making things easy for click-button investigators to interpret, and might differ on what results from that, but there's no difference in what the underlying data actually means. Ian Whiffin, as well as non-trial amateurs and professionals, have demonstrated that Green's conclusions are incorrect.
Green has yet to demonstrate or explain his findings, instead...
2. Green once again defers to customer service, but this time from Axiom
Green asks customer support about it, and (without knowing what he asked) gets an answer that fits him. He additionally refers to Axiom's reference guide, which describes the date/time as the date/time that the user last interacted with the tab. This is an unfortunately vague description that Green has continued to interpret incorrectly, because it's been shown to be the tab state and not the browser window itself. Green did not attempt to independently explore the issue.
3. Green changed his claim about deletion with regard to the Axiom output
In his unrevised affidavit, Green claims that the "hos long" artifact is in a deleted state. This is removed in the revision, meaning he's.... apparently no longer claiming that it was deleted. There's no explanation of this, even though he elsewhere is still claiming it's deleted.
4. Green accuses Trooper Guarino of hiding from the defense that the 2:27 artifact appears in the Axiom report
Putting aside that there's evidence Guarino actually might've said that in a report, it's a nonsensical claim. The evidence is the phone data. Both sides are free to run it through whatever tools they want to. It's also still irrelevant.
5. Green claims the phone extraction was manipulated in order to hide a 2:27 search
This is wildly nonsensical. There is no way to user-delete this artifact. If it were deleted post-extraction in her phone data (an exceedingly difficult thing to manipulate), they would have to manually put it in this deleted state. If their intention was to delete it, it just wouldn't be there at all.
There remains no evidence that data was manipulated, only wild speculation that it was manipulated in extremely complicated ways that would never make sense in a coverup.
6. Green disputes Whiffin's claim that the search never loaded, because the "how long to digest food" search-suggestion artifact appeared
Funnily enough, he changed this from it "contradicting" the claim in his first affidavit, to "brings into question the claim" in the revision. There's a reason for this. That reason is that Jen probably just had a weak connection at 6am, not no connection. Conversely, her phone data shows no appearance of connection issues at 2:27, which would have produced clear evidence of a search in her History database if it were done at that time.

In this affidavit, Green also makes a point to list the various certifications and training he has received over the last few years. 90% of it is with Cellebrite or Magnet Forensics (which makes Axiom). Ian Whiffin is a Senior Intelligence Expert for Cellebrite. Jessica Hyde is the former Director of Forensics for Magnet Forensics. They're both prosecution witnesses who directly dispute Green's claims.

I was laid off Oct 31, 2024. COBRA runs 18 months from that date to April 2026 according to my HR. They subsidized my Cobra for 3 months (running out Feb 1). My understanding is that I missed the 60 day window to move to marketplace insurance (bc I was just sitting on the subsidized free plan), but I am told that I can still get in with special enrollment. Can someone confirm if that's true? I'm not sure if I trust my broker. Debating whether to do it. Also, if I missed the 60 day window already, is there any rush at this point to make a decision?
I am on the fence because on the one hand the Cobra plan is a stellar BCBS PPO plan covering my wife and I for $1500. On the other hand, I am unstable right now in consulting and if work slows (or stops), I would owe less for a marketplace plan. Trying to find a job and debating whether to kick the can down the road to March for special enrollment (maybe I find that corporate job next month). Never had to make a decision like this before and I have no idea what to do.
