Amazon Robotics culture encourages innovation and expects engineers and managers alike to take a high level of ownership in solving complex problems.
The Solutions Design Team is not only responsible for analyzing and optimizing existing Robotic FC performance, but combining those learnings with the latest technologies to design new state of the art robotic material handling systems. The day to day responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and create physical processing and material handling solutions using modern edge technology, robotics and data analytics to meet the product flow requirements based on Amazon design principles.
- Identify and analyze key operational and financial metrics as part of program and feature selection in order to drive smart decisions.
- Coordinate with systems and operations engineering teams to develop product features and optimize the performance of the FCs.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
- Develop models as required to solve complex problems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or a related field
- Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD and commercial off the shelf technologies such as Tableau, SQL, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with the designs of complex automated material handling equipment and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
- Demonstrated use of analytical skills to solve complex engineering problems
- Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.

Am I the only one who's pissed that the Netflix show used Limp Bizkit for the opening song when Dante has always been associated with Metal?
For me I've always seen every game's ost as integral to the characters, the stories and the franchise. Dmc 5 using 4 different metal sub ganre to represent the 4 playable characters cemented this further for me, so seeing a beautifully animated opening and then turing on the volume just to hear Limp Bizkit is sad man. How does this make sense? Is it really just because punk is more marketable? Do the creators even know anything about rock/metal music? Is this meant to be a love letter to the franchise or a soulless corporate cash grab made for mass appeal? Because no one in their right mind would ever associate Limp Bizkit with Dmc.
Dmc isn't punk and has never been punk it's metal.

2025.01.31 00:15 Derkastan77-2 This game sucked me in
 | I have been playing video games for approx. 39-40 years. I remember playing oregon trail on my old 286hz pc and an EGA monitor. Ataari pitfall, going to arcades (I’m 47) and I have never had a game (other than the 1st Everquest MMO) ever suck me in like this. I haven’t been able to get myself to really load up any other game since last February. I bought BG3, stopped playing after a few hours to get back into HD. Bought star wars outlaws, space marines 2, ghost recon: wildlands, ghost of tsushima…. I can’t get myself to start any of them up. Last Spring, I was bad. I’m a SAHD, and i’d drop the kids off at school, race back home and play HD for 4-5 hours, then clean up for an hour and go get the kids. Then when the kids and my wife went to sleep, I’d stay up playing from around 11 or 11:30 till 2:30-3:30am EVERY NIGHT… for months. Then in late summer we were having home repairs, the contractor stole all the money and ran… and I didn’t get to play for most of September, October and into November, doing the work myself. Since then I’ve toned down my hours, only really playing 1-2 games in the dsytime, and a few games at night. But even with those 2.5 months I didn’t get to play, the sheer amount of time is cray to me. I went on steam, saw the date in FebruaryI bought the game, and had google calculate how many days I’ve owned HD2. Despite missing those 2.5 months, it comes to me having averaged 7.7 missions per day, 7 days per week, just a few weeks shy of a year…. And that’s missing 2.5 months. That’s INSANE to me 😳 I know there are players in here with more hours and missions then me, and I think that’s crazy, because dear Lord… how do you do it? 2025.01.31 00:15 Pleasesomeonehel9p Does this seem like fluid build up?
 | F20. History of marfanoid CTD, lymphangiomatosis (suspected and to be confirmed in April) suspected due to multiple lymphangioma tumors in spleen (removed two years ago) and a new small mass with similar features appearing in the liver. (Only 7mm as of a month ago, but my spleen one grew fast). Currently I have normal liver enzyme levels. The last 6 months or so I’ve had weight gain and bloating but minimal fat gain. I’ve spoken with doctors who agree that she doesn’t think I’m gaining fat and the weight gains odd. She told me to begin calorie tracking so I started today. Today I ate more than I usually do and it only ended up being about 1300 calories (I’m F, 5’9, 150 pounds but I was 140 pounds three weeks ago so idk what’s happening). And yes I counted correctly. I was particular and used a food scale too. I assume I eat anywhere from 1000-1700 calories a day depending on how nauseous I am. I have noticed the weight is going to my stomach nowhere else, and it’s hard as a rock. The past few days it’s been very bad and painful. I’ve noticed the most noticeable change being the shape of my belly button as if I’m pregnant. (Not sexually active). I get nauseous and can’t eat when it’s like this and it is very often. I’m very sleepy and have low vitamin D as well. Also I wanna add the stretch marks in the picture ARE NOT NEW. They’re from puberty. I have a marfanoid CTD so my skin has some impurities. I had them even when I was 115 pounds. I’m worried that this is abnormal or like fluid build up. My weight has fluctuated in the last month from 140-160 pounds on and off. I don’t even wanna weigh myself. My clothes fit exactly the same in the arms and legs. It’s just anything high waisted hurts to wear. I haven’t gained fat elsewhere. Or even fat at all. To press on my belly I need to put a lot of pressure. Do these images look like just bloating or like, should I be worried my small tumors causing problems or that I have free fluid? I had a scab a month ago showing mild fluid around my heart, pelvis and there’s a Small intraluminal dense focus within the colon, and a small growth of the liver (lymphangioma most likely).
