 | Here’s the rig that lives in my truck. I have lighter rigs for hikes and hunts, but if the shit went down, this is what I’m going to first I run my hand warmer as a dangler from my K19. I know my mic isn’t the best, but it works. I run a remote antenna to my pack panel and under my water bag. In my utility pouch I run: gorilla tape, 10x power mono, spare batteries, head lamp and white chem sticks. In my admin pouch, I keep a small write in the rain, golf pencils(buy them on amazon), spare shears and a bug net. My support bag I’ve been running since 2009. It’s bombproof and works well as an emergency range bag if need be. It’s got everything from full IFAK to some spare water and sheers. Any questions, feel free. 2025.01.31 01:10 Potential_Ad4263 Anyone absolutely hate opening traps?
It just feels like such an unsportsmanlike way to play. These opening traps/gambits break all the fundamental opening principles. How is this even a good way of learning and improving at the game?
And the fact that I, who follows all the opening principles, am losing to these noobs (500 elo)?? yeah, that's just not fair.
Like in the game below, I followed basically every opening principle. i put pawns in the centre, put my c pawn in front of my knight, knights before bishops, castled early, brought rooks to the centre etc, jjust unbelievable. my opponent didnt even touch the light squared bishop and queen side rook, and just started pushing random pawns for crying out loud!!! clearly there is a disparity in understanding of sensible opening principles... still lost in under 20 moves. I mean come on!!!!!!!! hate chess
And my opponent found the knight sac on f2 in 1 seconds, so there clearly have studied this sort of trappy opening before. once again not fair
whenever i face a trappy opening i try to study it to see where i went wrong, but considering at 500 elo many players are playing traps, i feel like i might as well study a proper opening and save the hassle of constantly having to lose to learn about these traps

Enhanced full screen mode is gas.
Only critque I can think of is when I go to share a clip on discord, the Channels dropdown list is randomized. I know the order of my discord server like chapters in a book and can flip straight to them via scroll wheel. I can't just flip in that dropdown menu, necessitating having to scan the list item by item to find 💩poop-butt-clips or 🔥sick-butt-clips. They're right next to eachother in discord and 4 items away in the dropdown. Order them by the way they appear in the server.
Perk idea: My headset has two channels: Chat Audio and Game Audio. I can only record one at a time. That sucks. Give me an option to add another audio source so I record the game AND discord. If you want to go above and beyond, let me control the gain of those sources in the editor before clipping and sharing.

 | Holy fuck is my mind numb. 236 - 82 x 20’s, every single 83x10, all of my seasons rewards, and 300 other packs saved and this was my best pull. I don’t wanna grind anymore, it’s so demotivating honestly. I also keep seeing people with insane pulls that rarely play the game and it makes me feel like I get punished for playing the game. It’s absolutely incredible to me that we continue to get shit rewards when we’re investing hours and days to hopefully improve our teams. I don’t spend money on the game, and I play with the same god damn players every day, week after week, until an SBC player fits my team because I can’t ever fucking pack anything. 2025.01.31 01:10 uppr_dckr Changing Resistance/Cardio Days Everywhere or Just My Gym?
My F45 studio just announced they’re switching to a new schedule: MWF will be resistance, and Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday will be hybrid/cardio.
I’m kind of bummed about this because I mainly go for the resistance days. I’m on the heavier side (6’0”, 260 lbs) and have some joint issues that make a lot of the cardio-focused movements tough—sometimes painful, sometimes just a little embarrassing to attempt in a group setting. The new schedule doesn’t really line up with my work availability, so I’m worried I might have to cancel, which sucks because I really do love the workouts.
I plan to talk to my studio manager to see if there’s any flexibility, but I was wondering—is this an F45-wide change, or is it just my location mixing things up? Anyone else’s studio doing this?
Would love to hear what others think!

The world threw itself at him. It wasn’t unfair— the world pounced on anyone naïve enough to ask for their own birth.
His tender childhood, the most sacred time for a being like him, was wasted learning what some suited elders deemed appropriate. Five, six, or more hours a day spent absorbing the basics of this world—counting, adding, and strangely, never learning to laugh.
They didn’t teach him to laugh, to love, to cry, to imagine, or to suffer. They took his childhood and used it to mold him into just another cog in the machine. They played with him, believing themselves to be gods.
But he grew tired—not, unfortunately, when his flesh was still tender, but when he had already matured enough not to depend on two tutors who, in their pursuit of his greater good, had unwittingly destroyed his life. It wasn’t their fault. It wasn’t the fault of his mechanics, whom he was expected to worship as demi-gods. No.
It wasn’t really anyone’s fault, and yet, it was everyone’s.
He had no choice but to move forward—no real choice, at least. He had to pay bills, compensate his girlfriend, progress at work, enjoy himself, reach maximum productivity, fulfill his role in that twisted mechanism that suffocated him.
And so, there he was—on that rooftop, 45 years old, a bottle of cheap whiskey in his hand. His throat burned as he watched the soft lights of hundreds of cars passing beneath his feet.
Damn. Had the infernal noise of tires against asphalt always been this grating? He wondered as he took another sip from the bottle.
Tomorrow was his birthday—he would turn 46, a respectable age, halfway through the average lifespan in that wretched country.
He had some modest health issues, a wife, two children, and a stable job where he would soon be promoted to a position that would finally let him leave that disgusting working-class neighborhood behind. He even had a loan pre-approved with the bank…
He hated it all.
He looked down once more. Everything was just colorful lights in that central street where his office stood—an ideal location for attracting more clients.
He made out a young couple in the crowd. They were holding hands. The boy dragged his feet reluctantly, led by the girl’s enthusiastic pace.
He smiled. He had lived that, too, many years ago. Not with Briseida, of course—she was too uptight to go out in public.
He sighed again, thinking of Briseida.
Too uptight to go out for a meal with him. I don’t have time, she had repeated more than once.
But she did have time to fuck her boss. In their bed. The same bed where they had conceived two children.
After seeing them, he said nothing. He simply closed the door, sighed—as he always did—and walked away to his office.
And now here he was, staring into the void with a Glock in his pocket.
For a second, he almost thought he saw his younger self beside him. He wasn’t smiling. And he knew why.
At the very least, let’s give them a show, he thought, glancing once more at the young couple, now moving further away from the building.
Without further hesitation, he left a brief note stuck to a loose slab on the rooftop.
He looked down one last time. How beautiful the city's light seemed to him now…
At 22:22 on an ordinary Thursday night, another death was logged on a website.
However he time was wrong. He had pulled the trigger at exactly 22:21. No one would ever know.
