sooo i been talkin to this guy for a while, nothin too serious but like… we both KNEW there was somethin there. we’d text all the time, send each other dumb memes, he’d reply to all my stories w the “👀” emoji like sir just SAY u obsessed 😭
anyway, last night i went to this party w my friends n guess who tf was there… yup, HIM. at first it was chill, we were talkin, he had his arm around me n everything, but then i did sum dumb shit. i was tipsy n i saw this other guy (who tbh was kinda fine too) n we started talkin. situationship dude saw n i SWEAR i saw his whole mood shift. next thing ik, he’s all distant, barely talkin, then just dips w/o sayin bye.
now it’s the next day n he hasn’t texted at all. like. zero. radio silence. idk if i fucked up or if he’s bein dramatic but now my brain is spiralin. do i text him first or just let it be?? 😭

2025.01.31 01:20 Pokemon_Trainer_May "upgraded" router and plan is slower
Just set up my new gateway and my wifi went from 400-500mbps on the 500mbps plan to 250mbps on the 1.2gbps plan. There's no problem with the signal to house because things were fine before and I can't even match the previous speed. Glad I'm paying more for slower speeds I hate this company so much.

2025.01.31 01:20 dbzgal04 Having Autism is One Reason I Ditched Catholicism (and Christianity as a Whole)
I (39F) was diagnosed with autism in early childhood. Even though I turned out to be higher-functioning, in several ways I practically got punished for it.
My mom having a tendency to be overprotective, having to be cautious in certain places because my hearing was heightened and therefore loud noises triggered me, people thinking I should live in a group home and/or be in special education, are just a few ways of how I practically got punished for something I didn't choose. My family had to overcome hardships and challenges as well because of my diagnosis, and I feel terrible for them. They love me and wouldn't change a thing, but I still wish they didn't have to endure their obstacles.
On one hand, my autism wasn't preached to me and/or my family as the result of sin, a punishment, or the work of "the devil." On the other hand however, I was taught that "God" creates us how we are, or at least allows us to be how we are, nothing happens unless he allows it, and everything works out according to his plan. In other words, me being autistic and having to overcome those hardships (and my family's challenges as a result) was part of "God's" plan, and he created me this way, or at least allowed me to be this way.
Besides the typical "just trust and have faith in his plan," "you'll find out the reason/s when you get to Heaven," and other similar canned responses, another claim given is that Goddy dearest gives people disabilities, challenges, or whatever else, "to bring himself glory," as well as teach others and serve as examples. Ah, so in other words I was an unwilling guinea pig...how wonderful! /s
So yeah, this is just one of many reasons why I finally left Catholicism (and Christianity, and religion as a whole) behind for good. If in fact there was a reason/s for my autism (and countless other things), I'd have no desire to wait until after I die to know the reason/s, I'd want to find out right now. Anyone see where I'm coming from there?

2025.01.31 01:20 Sea_Science2008 Friend won't speak to me because I'm buying a house with my brother-in-law
So this is a weird one I think. My best friend of 10+ years has mentioned/pitched the idea of purchasing a house with him, his girlfriend and me and my wife and maybe other friends. I don't like the idea of shared living nor do I like the idea of living with friends. He was a little upset I shot down the idea but he seemingly got over it. This was maybe 1-2 years ago.
Fast forward to the past 4 months me and my wife have been talking to my brother-in-law and his fiance about the idea of purchasing a duplex together. Two seperate units and it would be co-owned with all us family. This week we found a place we liked and got an offer accepted and began the process of buying a home.
I went and told all my buddies, and he freaked out to the point where I thought he was joking. I explained that it's totally different, it's not shared living and I'd rather take less risk buying with blood and legally bound people rather than friends. He clearly did not accept this "excuse" and called me an ass hole and that he didn't trust me and hasn't spoken to me in a few days.
Who's in the wrong/why is he acting this way? Should I have spoken to him about it before? How should I reach out to talk about it?
I am not saying he's right or I'm right, although this is the option that I want and I didn't want the option he proposed so I feel like I'm totally in the right and fine but open to hear what others think. Genuinely extremely confused by his reaction.

How long do I need to practice playing arpeggios 4 octaves all keys minor and major fluidly without pedal. I tried to play it but it was tricky. Btw No rest in between
There is this YouTuber I saw named Traum and he played arpeggios so nicely.
Watching Traum’s performance videos inspires me to keep practicing.
I know I’ll never be good as him but I can still keep improving my own skills.
