I'm transferring from an S21 to an S25, and Smart Switch completed and says it transferred 9 GB of messages (that sounds like a lot, but my messages got duplicated recently which is a whole separate issue). However, when I click on that from Smart Switch it opens up Google Messages and there isn't a single text there. I tried restarting and clearing the app data/cache but still when I go to Google Messages there's still nothing there.
I'd try Smart Switch again but I'm scared of quadrupling already duplicated data. Any ideas?

2025.01.31 04:00 relaxed-vibes Love Patch 8, very glitchy on Xbox
New patch is pretty fun but glitchy AF. Today I lost Gale bc I couldn’t give him magic items. I had them in my inventory and the screen popped up but I just couldn’t give them to him no matter how many buttons I mashed. I went back four saves, turned off Xbox, exited game completely. Loaded another game, then reloaded the glitched one back… no dice. I finally had to add him to the party and consume it from his inventory.
I’ve reported about 9 glitches… none this bad though.
Hexblade,is underwhelming as is drunken master. I will say the extra curse is nice even with EB though. It is also benefits from ring of mystic scoundrel is you also go tome… so between potions, hexes, curses and vicious mockery you always have bonus action that’s a damage boost.
Drunken master seems like mink version of swashbuckler with the free disengage on your version of flurry of blows.
Glamour bard… meh. 5 temp HP and a charm on hit. I haven’t actually seen the charm do anything if I’m being honest. I see it charms them but they act normally and attack who ever.
Arcane archer is really nice. Either get the band of intellect or early or put at least 16 into int otherwise your arrows will never do their thing…except piercing arrow which is pretty effing nice. I don’t think it actually uses an attack roll either. I stood right in front of three enemies within melee range and piercing arrowed all of them. It’s like the arrow of many targets but just in a line. It would be better if you could use the special arrows with them though. I still need to test if bow of the banshee fears all the targets… it should though.
I haven’t seen any special dialogs for those subclasses either. Anyways, it’s fun. Hopefully all,the glitches get worked out.

Hi everyone, just wondering if any of you are Odyssey students who have also lived off campus while studying abroad. I receive refunds that allow me to cover my housing (rent payments), but I am planning to study at MBL through the university's semester of biological discovery. I am assuming that since my housing will technically be in a dormitory during that time, they will change my bill and thus refund amount for the Spring- has anyone been in a similar situation? I am trying to decide how much pressure there is for me to find a sublet.

2025.01.31 04:00 akimboeg My Pixel 5a Died. What should I get instead?
Hi all. My Pixel 5a just died. Some motherboard fault that causes the screen not to work. Apparently it's a common issue with the model. uBreakIFix can't do anything about it, and despite talking to three different people at Google, none of them could tell me what their "repair" process would entail (I don't think they actually service 5a's anymore) or how much it would cost me.
Would like to consider my options here.
I use my phone mostly as a web browser and for WhatsApp. Games are very rarely a consideration, and a nice camera is only a nice-to-have.
Located in the US (west coast), currently on Mint Mobile. Smaller is better than bigger. Nothing that folds. Stock android (or as clean as possible) is better than bloat. Must be unlocked. Really, I just want something that won't feel like a downgrade from my beloved 5a, without spending too much money.
